After dinner, Lu Xun walked his friend over to the lobby. He watched as Zhang Yu Han helped his kids into their car seat and then, his wife into the passenger's seat.
A faint smile curled on his lips, thinking of how this friend had become a family man.
Lu Xun could still remember how a few girls would try to get along with Zhang Yu Han in college. However, those girls were rejected.
Everyone had thought that Zhang Yu Han did not like women.
However, Zhang Yu Han told him that he already had someone he liked. The girl was someone that he had seen once during his high school basketball tournament. But afterward, they never met again.
Lu Xun had thought that Zhang Yu Han was crazy. He did not expect that his friend would find the girl, marry her, and had kids.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Zhang Yu Han spoke. His eyes narrowed as he gave Lu Xun a lookover.
"Nothing."
"You're leaving to Capital City tomorrow?"
Lu Xun nodded. "Our flight is in the evening."
"I'll arrange for someone to send you over to the airport."
"Thank you."
Zhang Yu Han turned around and hesitated before he spoke again, "I know that you probably did not want to hear this, but Lu Xun, you still have to be careful with Anna."
His brow rose. "What do you mean?"
After everything, Lu Xun believed that Shi An Na would stop looking after him again. He had announced it loud and clear that the person he love and wanted to marry was Song Xing Xing and no one else.
"You know that she had quit her job and returned to her parents' house a while ago, right?" He paused briefly and continued again, "Earlier today, I heard that her parents has been looking for her again. It seemed that she went missing."
Lu Xun pursed his lips into a thin line. He was unhappy to hear this person's name again. "Perhaps she decided to leave after everything."
"It would be good if she really leave. But still, you needed to be careful. I don't know what's wrong with her but it would be better not to get yourself into trouble."
"I know." Lu Xun patted Zhang Yu Han on his shoulder. "Thank you."
After exchanging a few more words, Lu Xun watched as the vehicle disappeared from his sight. Turning around, Lu Xun began to think about Zhang Yu Han's words.
When he looked up again, Lu Xun saw that his mother was waiting for him in the lobby area. He snapped out of his trance and walked over to his mother. "Mom, what are you doing here?"
"I ate too much and decided to walk around," Zhen Wen Yu said. "I saw that you were chatting with Yu Han and decided to wait for you and go up together."
A helpless sigh escaped him. "Where's dad?"
"He went back to the room. He received an email from his co-workers and wanted to reply to them urgently."
Lu Xun raised a brow as he looked at his mother again. "Should I accompany you for a walk?"
"I've walked enough. I want to go up and rest."
He nodded and walked with his mother to the elevator.
"Xing Xing seemed very close with Yu Han's family as well."
"Uh-huh. Yu Han's wife and Xing Xing's cousin's wife were good friends. They often meet and hang around together."
Zhen Wen Yu nodded. "So that's why that little girl liked Xing Xing very much."
"Xing Xing is very good with kids. They like to play around with her."
