After dinner, everyone went back to their room to rest. Song Xing Xing watched as Lu Xun entered the room with Mr. Fluffball following him closer. She watched as the fat cat climbed up the bed and asked, "Is there something wrong with the way I look?"
Lu Xun walked closer and gave her a lookover. He pecked at the corner of her lips and said, "You look pretty as always." He watched the shade of pink crept to her ears and smiled "Why are you asking me this?"
Song Xing Xing tilted her head to one side. "Did you notice that your parents has been giving me a strange look earlier?"
Lu Xun tried to recall dinner with his parents earlier today. However, he did not notice anything wrong with it.
"They were probably too happy that they finally had a daughter-in-law," Lu Xun said and smiled. "My parents have been worried about my marriage for a long time. You know that they wouldn't be at ease until we are married. Now that we finally had our certificate, they can finally stop worrying. Perhaps, they viewed you as a savior."
Song Xing Xing laughed. She knew that her parents-in-law were always worrying about Lu Xun. However, she had never thought that it would be to this extend.
Her initial worry about how her parents-in-law had been looking at her had quickly disappeared. Song Xing Xing raised her hand and poked at his hard chest. "President Lu, it seemed that I won't be able to return to the studio this week. I'm here to request a few days off."
He caught her finger and played with her hand, measuring her small hand against his. "What are you up to?"
"Mom asked me to accompany her to shop," Song Xing Xing said. "She said, we should look at a few things for the wedding. They are going to return to C Country and Dad might have to travel for work again."
Small creases appeared between his brow "Will you be alright?"
Lu Xun knew his mother well. Once she visited the mall, she won't stop until they have walked to the whole building. No one in the family could stand accompanying her shopping.
The last time they visited C Country, Song Xing Xing had experienced his mother's energy as she accompanied her to shop. The two went out in the morning and only returned home when it was almost dark.
If they did not run into Shi An Na, perhaps, Zhen Wen Yu would be in a good mood and continue to shop around.
