The Lu couple said that they were heading to Capital City. However, both Song Xing Xing and Lu Xun would not expect that the couple would head over to Y City first to meet with Song Xing Xing's parents first.
Lu Xun was speechless when he heard from Zhang Yu Han that his parents had checked in to the hotel in Y City.
It was not difficult for him to figure out what was his parents trying to do.

Hearing their name, everyone turned their attention to the couple.
"When did you arrive? Why didn't you tell us?" Ye Ling Feng asked. "I could send someone to pick you up."
Lu Xun glanced around the room to examine the atmosphere. Then, his eyes stopped at his father-in-law. His hand subconsciously tightened to a fist. Noticing that her father-in-law did not look at him with an unpleasant look, Lu Xun finally heaved with relief.
Ye Ling Feng quickly invited everyone inside and instructed the auntie to prepare a few extra cutleries for the couple.
"Mom, why didn't you tell me that you will be coming to Y City?" Lu Xun asked when he finally got the chance to talk to his mother. "Didn't we agree that you and dad would go to Capital City first and can head to Y City together?" If Yu Han did not tell me that the two of you checked in into his hotel, I wouldn't know that you would be here."
Zhen Wen Yu shot his son a look. "Didn't I come here for you? You did not know how anxious I was when I heard what was going on. I won't be at ease until I talk to your in-laws. Fortunately, Xing Xing's parents were both understanding and did not blame you for it."
Lu Xun concluded that his parents' appearance might have helped to ease his father-in-law's views on him.
His mother was a good talker and she might have helped him to win some points.
"If you told me and Xing Xing earlier, we could come over to Y City together," Lu Xun said.
"Your dad and I already know where your parents-in-law are staying. We don't need you as our guide. Besides, this thing is something that we have to talk to Xing Xing parents in private. You kids should not be involved."
The corner of his lips twitched. He was already in his thirties but his mother still thought of him as a kid.
Lu Xun hugged his mother on the shoulder. "Mom, thank you."
Zhen Wen Yu narrowed her eyes at her son. "If you want to thank me, just treat your wife better and don't get involved with this kind of scandal again. Stay away from Anna and her family."
"Mom, I know."
"Or else, you could try and work hard to let me hug my grandchild."
