Xia Yu looked at the man in front of her, feeling anxious at what he was about to tell her.
The look on Huo Yun Chen's face was too serious. XiaYu did not know what he wanted to say, but it was making her scared.
"What do you want to say?"

Even though it was still a tiny spark, he decided that he should take this chance.
After all, the last time he had liked someone, his love story had to end before it begin. He was too late to confess his feelings and the girl had belonged to someone else.

Xia Yu flinched as Huo Yun Chen came closer to her. She leaned back and realized that she had no way to escape. Xia Yu began to panic and that was when she heard his question.
"Xia Yu, let's... go out."
Her eyes were wide as she stared back at him. "Where are you going?"
Huo Yun Chen realized that he had not arranged his words properly. "No. That's not what I meant." He rubbed at his nose, feeling slightly exasperated. "What I mean is..." He paused to take a deep breath. "Xia Yu, I like you. Will you go out with me?"
The silence between them lasted for a minute.
Xia Yu looked at the handsome man in front of her with a dazed look on her face. Her hand moved to her thigh and she gave herself a tight pinch. The pain was too much and she nearly hissed.
If this was not a dream, then it must be that her ears were playing tricks on her.
"Xia Yu, let's start dating." Huo Yun Chen rephrased his words when the girl sat there without giving her any reaction.
Xia Yu blinked.
It seemed that her ears were not playing tricks on her.

"At least, you should think about this properly before you give your answer. I will give you time."
