Xia Yu was listening to Huo Yun Chen telling her about the recording process when her phone started to ring. Xia Yu grabbed her phone on the table and her eyes lit up upon seeing the head nurse's message.
"You seemed happy. Good news?" Huo Yun Chen swallowed the food in his mouth and propped a hand under his chin to look at his girlfriend.
Xia Yu turned to him and smiled. She thought about the head nurse's message and wondered how should she tell Huo Yun Chen about the offer.
"Something you could not tell me?"
"That's not it." Xia Yu pursed her lips into a thin line.
After a brief hesitation, Xia Yu took a deep breath and decided to talk to him. It would be better to address this matter sooner and find out his opinion.
"That was the head nurse. A while ago, she told me about this internship program in F Country. If I accept this offer, I will have to stay there for a year. But I still haven't made my decision."
Huo Yun Chen put down the chopsticks in his hand. He pondered over her words and figured out what she was trying to say to him. "And what do you think? Do you want to go?"
Xia Yu pulled at her fingers. "I will be able to get a promotion once I completed the internship."
Huo Yun Chen gave serious thought to this matter. The two of them haven't been in a relationship for a long time. Thinking that he would not be able to see her as much as he wanted to made his heart ache.
However, he could not stop Xia Yu from doing what she wanted to do in life. He would miss her terribly. But it would not be fair to her.
Sensing that a certain someone was staring at him and waiting for his answer, Huo Yun Chen could not help but smiled. There was a hint of worry in Xia Yu's expression. It made him wonder what was going on in the girl's head.

"I want to discuss this with you before I make any decision. What is your opinion on this?"

"But once I accept that offer, we might not be able to see each other for a year."
