Chapter 463: Muscle Cramps

Song Xing Xing;'s stomach continued to grow as she reached the third trimester. Because she was carrying a twin, her stomach was especially large. With her body condition, Song Xing Xing mostly stayed at home as it was uncomfortable for her to move around.
As she stood in front of the mirror, Song Xing Xing lowered her gaze and sighed. Her stomach was too big that she could not look at her toes anymore.
However, it was still amazing to think that there were two small lives growing in her stomach. Thinking that she will have to wait for a few more weeks before the baby will come out, Song Xing Xing could only tell herself to be patient.
Song Xing Xing waddled to the living room and finally took a seat. However, a pain jolted around her leg area, making her wince. Song Xing Xing tried to massage her calf but she could not reach it because of her heavy stomach.
The pain was too much and it almost made her cry.
"What happened?" Hearing his voice, Song Xing Xing turned around and looked at her husband with teary eyes. "Hubby, it's painful."
Lu Xun grew anxious when he heard her words "What? Where is it painful? Should I call the ambulance? No. I'll drive you myself."
Seeing that the man was about to leave her side, Song Xing Xing grabbed his hand in time and explained. "No. It's my legs. Muscle cramps."
Lu Xun finally calm down. He sat down beside his wife and started to massage her painful calf. "Is it here?"
"Un." Song Xing Xing nodded. The muscle cramp gradually disappeared, but she was enjoying Lu Xun's attentive massage too much to say anything.
Seeing the way Lu Xun continued to massage her legs with a serious look on his face, Song Xing Xing leaned in and pecked at the side of his lips.
However, her lips could only graze his skin lightly.
Lu Xun turned around to look at his wife and saw her smiling back at him in adoration. Seeing the eyes that were full of love and her bulging stomach made him feel warm.

"Can you feel it?"

"Did they do this often?" Lu Xun asked. He already made a note to himself to punish the child if they bullied their mother after they came out.
"Recently, they were a little active. Maybe they could sense you close and wanted to play with you." Song Xing Xing tilted her head to one side. "Do you think that perhaps we might be having boys?"
"I don't know. Whatever gender you will be giving birth to, I will love them the same."

Song Xing Xing adjusted her clothes and finally remember that she was supposed to be meeting someone. "Ah! That should be Xia Yu. It's been a while since we saw each other and I invited her to come over."
Seeing that Auntie Wei came out of the kitchen to open the door, Lu Xun quickly stopped her and volunteered to greet their guests.
Lu Xun could understand that his wife would be bored staying home most of the time. Lu Xun was relieved that someone would come over to visit his wife. He walked over to the door and saw the surprised look on Xia Yu's face.
"President Lu." Xia Yu greeted. She had not expected that the man himself would come to the door himself.
Lu Xun nodded and stood aside. "Please come in. Xing Xing is already waiting for you."
Xia Yu changed her shoes into the guest slipper and walked into the house. Her eyes lit up when she saw her friend sitting on the sofa. Seeing that Song Xing Xing tried to get up, Xia Yu quickly stopped her.
"You girls sit here and have a talk," Lu Xun said. "I'll be in my office." He turned to his wife and spoke, "Call me if you need anything."
Xia Yu breathed in relief when Lu Xun was no longer around. She looked at Song Xing Xing's stomach and smiled. "It seemed that your tummy continued to grow each time I see you."
Song Xing Xing laughed as she caressed her stomach. "Xia Yu, you look prettier each time that I see you."
