Rejected the Demon’s Marriage Proposal Thousands of Times Chapter 70.3

Leon Fights the Demon (10)

Rothgarr's action really made some onlookers secretly applaud. They were angry at Grace’s discriminatory comments, but they couldn't do anything to her. They naturally appreciated a person like “Mage Raymond," who was not afraid of breaking the rules of the Association to teach her a lesson.

Grace was not afraid of Rothgarr, she glared at him and smiled sarcastically: "That's because you were deceived by her! Do you think she is such a law-abiding woman? Other than Leon, she might be leading on how many other mages without your knowledge. Oh, isn't there that Mage Dawkins? How can you know what happens when they concoct potions alone together?"

She smiled dumbly: "A gold digger like Anna, you can only be her one and only if you lock her up, otherwise she will definitely find other men!"

Rothgarr's facial expression became darker. He had already conjured up a beam of golden light in his palm; he didn't want to bear it any longer. Since she was so eager to die, then he would grant her wish

Anna's face also turned green.

This Grace was too vicious. Anna could bear her slander, but she was even suggesting to the demon that she should be locked up! If the demon really listened and did what Grace wanted, Anna would be finished!

When she saw that the demon seemed to be getting physical, she had no intention of

stopping him at all. Yes, don't listen to Grace, she was just talking nonsense!

But Leon shot a hand out to stop Rothgarr.

Leon also didn't like hearing Grace say these things about Anna. If he was only merely annoyed with Grace before, he was now disgusted.

He saw Anna's efforts. He appreciated her enthusiasm and dedication to magic and potions. As for her relationship with Raymond, he didn’t know and was in no place to ask, but he knew it was not like Grace said.

Even so, he couldn't just watch Raymond hurt Grace without intervening.

"You dare to stop me?" Rothgarr seemed a little surprised, and then he suddenly approached Leon. He grinned, and then said in a low voice, maliciously, "It’s good that you did... Anna is there watching. You are protecting someone who is slandering her. What do you think Anna will think of that?"

Leon was stunned, his eyes subconsciously looked into the crowd, and almost instantly he saw Anna hiding in the crowd.

He pursed his lips, still insisting on not letting Rothgarr hurt Grace.

"Miss Grace is at fault, but it doesn’t warrant death." Leon looked at Rothgarr without wavering, "You can't kill her."

He could see the killing intent of "Raymond"; it was the same as in the martial arts field yesterday.

"OK."

To Leon's surprise, Rothgarr suddenly withdrew and backed away, sneering: "Since you want to protect your ex-fiancee, how good would it be to marry her home? Lest she harm others."

When Grace saw Leon protecting her, her eyes instantly lit up with hope. After hearing Rothgarr's words, she looked at Leon expectantly, hoping that he would change his mind.

He protected her, which showed that he still had some feelings for her. She could still win his heart; for this, she was willing to do anything!

Leon ignored Rothgarr's sarcasm and said calmly: "You’re violating the rules and regulations of the Association."

Rothgarr was previously given a warning for using spells in the living area, and although this area was not a living area, if he hurt ordinary people in the Association, he would be given a warning at the very least, and other apologies and compensation would be counted separately.

However, because Raymond himself was a nobleman similar to Grace’s family, and he was a mage with unlimited prospects, the two families would most likely deal with it in private, and Rothgarr may not even need to see Grace's face again before this matter was over.

But even without thinking about these matters, Rothgarr would do what he wanted to do anyway. He sneered when he heard these words: "So what?"

Leon knew that he couldn’t win against "Raymond" right now, and he also knew the rules for a nobleman like Raymond were not much of a threat, so he kept silent.

Rothgarr was in a good mood now. Anna was seeing all this, and her evaluation of Leon would naturally decrease. He no longer had it out with Leon, but stared at Grace coldly and said, "Don't involve Anna in the matter between you and Leon. If you dare to trouble Anna, be prepared that I will take all the revenge."

Without waiting for Grace to respond, he turned his head and left, pretending not to see Anna, and walked towards the library.

Seeing Rothgarr leave, Leon glanced in the direction where Anna was hiding, and when Grace happily greeted him, he took two steps back and said coldly, "I saved you because you are part of the Stockton family. This is my compensation."

He also assumed that he didn't see Anna and left.

"Leon!" Grace desperately looked at the direction Leon left, and burst into tears.

Seeing that there was no liveliness to watch, everyone left one after another. They couldn't sympathize with Grace's experience because of her previous performance.

Anna also quickly followed the crowd and left.

She originally thought things were going to be bad, and she came here to see if there was a way to save it. Now, it seemed that Leon had done well enough, and the demon had surprisingly done a good thing once more. He appeared and threatened Grace to not trouble her. Anyway, her relationship with "Raymond" had long since been unexplainable; him sticking up for her wouldn’t cause a deeper misunderstanding.

Anna went to the library with peace of mind. Natalie and the demon were both there. As if nothing had happened, she sat in her seat and started reading.

Rothgarr glanced at Anna's profile, and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

After reading for a while, they went their separate ways. Anna and Natalie continued to work on their potions, while Rothgarr went to the meditation room.

Because Anna said to him after leaving the library: "Raymond, are you going to prepare for the three-star mage assessment?"

The three-star mage assessment was actually still half a year away, but Rothgarr felt that getting along with Anna was just right now. He knew that she loved magic very much, and thought that she also preferred ambitious men, so he listened to her words and went to the meditation room to meditate and strengthen his mental power.

As for spell casting, he had long been very skilled, and the only thing that restricted him was the strength of his mental power.
