Fubuki and the gang came knocking at Asahi’s doorstep. They didn’t come for him; he knew that much. So, the only targets left were the new B-Class Heroes, and he just happened to be living with them at the moment. Her title, Newbie Crusher, wasn’t for show. She very much tyrannized the new, worthy B-Class Heroes until they submitted into her service. Well, most joined other factions, but that was the gist of it.

Unfortunately for Fubuki, she targeted the wrong heroes today.

Asahi flew down, and Fubuki’s group spotted him spontaneously. Eyelashes and Mountain Ape widened their eyes, cursing their luck for finding him here.

“It’s you.” Fubuki narrowed her eyes. “It’s my good fortune to run into you here, Asahi Marikawa, the new S-Class Hero.”

Sarcasm dripped from the words that came out of her mouth. Asahi couldn’t help but stare at her. “You’re very heroic, Miss Blizzard, the Queen of the B-Class Heroes.”

Asahi did more good in two days here than she did in her entire hero career. Fubuki was hardly in this profession for helping others, doing the minimum hero tasks to maintain her position rather than doing what her title required—helping the civilians. She followed in Tatsumaki’s footsteps in order to prove she was better than her sister. A mountain of a task with her current strength and faction.

Fubuki gave him a disapproving frown. “I do what I see is necessary for my position.”

“Why are you even here?” Asahi playfully wagged a finger. “Let me take a guess. To coerce the new B-Class heroes into joining your faction.”

“Coercion is a prude way of putting it. I prefer to call it faction tactics. Other hero factions take a much more violent approach. As they say, strength is in numbers.”

A healer and a veteran sniper — she had taken a liking to their abilities. Their versatility will lend them a spot in any faction. She wanted them in her group.

“This again. Get rid of this mentality if you want to reach Tatsumaki’s level.” Asahi shook his head as if her behavior disappointed her. “Absolute strength can crush everything.”

“Absolute strength doesn’t exist,” Fubuki continued with a confident grin. “Everyone has a weakness. A weak link we can use to our advantage. That being said, I agree with your view about Tatsumaki… She is untouchable. I am inferior to her in all aspects…”

The inferiority complex had pushed her into maintaining her Rank-1 in the B-Class since she had no hopes of surpassing the monsters in A-Class.

“Fubuki-sama!” Mountain Ape yelled. “Your onee-san may be stronger, more intelligent, and much more famous. But you’re better!”

Fubuki stared at Mountain Ape, wondering if she should fire him for his stupidity right now.

Asahi laughed at Mountain Ape’s contradicting statement. “I guess Fubuki wins out in the figure department.”

“Yes.” Eyelashes nodded. “Fubuki-sama certainly does.”

Fubuki made plans to punish her subordinate duo later, then turned to Asahi. “Do you live here?”

“Temporarily.”

As if on a cue, Shizuka left the hotel. All three women showed different tastes in outfits. Shizuka was still loving her turtlenecks and skirts. Rika had a balloon crop denim jacket and white pants. While Ddraig wore a long beige cardigan over a black top and a short black skirt.

“Oh, these buildings are tall.” The dragon woman adorably swiveled in all directions, taken aback by the difference in her own size and the surrounding structures. She had seen the world from Asahi’s soul, but seeing everything in person was different. The modern and industrialized world was opposite of her Middle Ages era.

Ddraig’s innocence had Shizuka in giggles. “You’re like a child.”

“A child in a mature woman’s body,” Rika corrected Shizuka. “What’s happening there with Aa-kun? He spotted a new target. I’m ninety nine percent sure about it.”

Shizuka eyed the woman with dark green hair. “Typical Aa-kun.”

“There they are.” Fubuki signaled Eyelashes and Mountain Ape. “Asahi Marikawa, may I suggest we meet later today? I have to take care of two goldfish in the pond.”

Asahi hid his smile and gave her the go-ahead gesture. He was very much interested in seeing Rika whip her ass with her own telekinesis. Another battle to remind Fubuki of her weakness and turn to him for help. A simple but effective trick to chip away at Fubuki’s enormous pride.

Fubuki strode towards the trio, the sleeves of her fur coat swaying in the wind. “Nice to meet you, freshmen. I’m Blizzard of Hell. You know what that entails, right?”

“Fubuki-sama is Rank 1 of the B-Class, Blizzard of Hell!” Eyelashes introduced Fubuki as her subordinate. His serious expression acted as a tool of intimidation for many. “It’s a custom for up-and-coming B-Classes to greet Fubuki-sama.”

“I smell trouble,” Rika muttered, knitting her brows in a frown. Asahi’s mischievous smile was all she needed to realize his prank. He wanted them to take care of this obstacle. “Are they like bullies of hero org? A hot bully and her gang.”

Shizuka innocently tilted her head. “Bullying is a bad thing.”

“I concur,” Ddraig said, remembering the silver-haired goddess teasing her at every opportunity. “Go away. Don’t mess with us.”

Ddraig didn’t resort to violence since she felt like her aura alone would kill the weak humans. As overbearing as Klyscha acted with her, the goddess taught her tolerance to small things.

Fubuki folded her arms under her chest and gazed at Shizuka. Her sharp green eyes could intimidate any rookie and rob them of their confidence, reducing them to a stuttering mess. That didn’t happen with the three women standing before them. They remained impervious to her intimidation.

“Ignorance does exist in our profession.” Fubuki sighed at the unfortunate reality. “I’ll be frank. Your rivals will destroy you with that ignorance. Work under me and your position in B-Class will be secured.”

“Don’t wanna,” Rika denied before Shizuka made any sense of the situation. “Aa-kun, bring this chick to the bed. Let’s teach her some manners.”

Rika looked at Asahi, so did Fubuki. It didn’t take a genius to make out the connection between Rika and Asahi. “You are acquainted with Asahi Marikawa… Indeed, that gives you the courage to throw lewd remarks at me.”

Fubuki wasn’t unknown to people drooling after her. Her posture was ruined during her highschool days because she hunched to stop people from staring at her chest. These days nobody tried that with her. The hero alias Blizzard of Hell terrified those who lusted after her.

Rika chuckled. “We’re not just acquainted, Miss. That man is our husband in the flesh.”

“Our? All of you?” Fubuki stared at the three in amazement. “Did he also tempt you with the offer to become S-Class Heroes in the future?”

Fubuki came to her own conclusion. Clenching her fists, she glared at Asahi as if he betrayed her. Asahi, in her eyes, became a man who exploited others’ ambitions of reaching unprecedented heights in the hero business.

Asahi could feel the misunderstanding brewing in the air. If he tried to clear it, the results would be the opposite. He simply shrugged.

‘Can’t help it.’

It was unrealistic to assume Fubuki would accept being part of a harem, or even like the idea of a harem. Well, changing her mind about the situation would be fun.

“Aa-kun, take care of this chick.” Rika patted his back and winked, baring a child-like grin. “Let’s go, team! We gotta finish our mission before the afternoon!”

Shizuka gave him a worried glance, but Rika forcefully pulled her away.

“Master, want me to kill her?” Ddraig asked. “I can make it quick.”

Fubuki’s brow twitched. “I’m not some pig you can slaughter on whim.”

Ddraig widened her eyes and looked down at her. “In my eyes, you are just an ant.”

An unseen pressure emanated from Ddraig’s red eyes. Fubuki nearly forgot to breathe. She felt like she stood before a monster who could tear her apart on an impulse. The terror made her realize that the silver-haired beauty was an S-Class Hero. A powerful one at that.

Even her subordinates stepped back, sweat trickling down from their foreheads.

“Weak.” Ddraig snorted before she turned to Asahi and smiled. “Don’t forget to make some time for our training.”

“It’s not free.” Asahi reminded Ddraig, grinning mischievously. “The same as last night.”

Ddraig paused, frozen in the moment. With a stuttering nod, she confirmed and bolted after Shizuka.

(My love used to pay women with your body. It’s the opposite now.)

‘I used to do that? Ah, with Saeko and Shiori.’

(Haha.)

Fubuki remained still, eyes wide as if she saw a dead person come to life before her. Asahi patted Fubuki’s shoulder to shake her fear.

“Did you wet your panties out of fear?” he whispered in her ears. “You can trust me. I won’t tell anyone.”

“No.” Fubuki hung her head before she glared at him. “What are you? Why is that woman so powerful? I have never seen her on any hero ranking.”

Ddraig, who utterly terrified her, was calling Asahi as her master. Not even a friend, but Master — completely subservient position. She was utterly baffled.

“That piqued your interest, huh?” He smacked his lips. “Why should I reveal my secrets, Miss Blizzard? Is there any incentive?”

“What do you want? What do I even have that can entice you?”

She was vastly inferior to him in psychokinesis. Her group of B-Class Heroes meant nothing when he already had an S-Class equivalent hero under him. She wasn’t rich, nor was she influential like her Tatsumaki. The realization frustrated her once more.

He pointed at her forehead. She watched in curiosity… until he flicked her, and a burning feeling covered her forehead.

“What?! Don’t hit me.” Fubuki glared at him with tears brimming in her eyes. She wanted to stomp the ground and scream at him; she might have done it if she hadn’t met Asahi before and got her ass kicked.

“Idiot, you don’t have anything,” Asahi spoke with no hint of emotion. “Right now, that is. I can attest to your potential. Correct guidance will nurture you into a top-tier fighter. Easily an S-Class Hero.”

He could flip her destiny with the Destiny Slayer authority he gained from the Bane of the Supernatural Class, bringing her potential to a level above Tatsumaki. He won’t do it until she shows some promising growth.

“That offer again…” Fubuki narrowed her eyes, which glowed with an intense light. “You really know how to push my buttons.”

“Ahaha, I’m not lying, though. I’ll turn you into an actual monster.”

“An actual monster? How much of a monster are you?”

“Want to see?”

“I do.”

Fubuki had seen Tatsumaki in action. She doubted Asahi came anywhere close to Tatsumaki’s monstrous power.

Asahi chuckled, eyes gleaming like a devil who found his toy. “Don’t regret it later.”

“Fubuki-sama, he is a three timer!” Eyelashes warned Fubuki. “You can’t trust him.”

Asahi raised an eyebrow. “Is it really three timing when all of them are aware of it?”

Asahi’s question sent them all into deep thoughts. He looked around to see a crowd gathered around. The flashes and clicks of the camera surrounded him. A van screeched its way into the scene and two journalists came out in a frenzy to secure the first interview with the new S-Class Hero.

‘Geez.’

He didn’t like the spotlight but he had to secure some fame for Astraea’s organization to work. While his wives dealt with the mosquito crisis, he patiently answered a couple of questions from the flustered journalists.

“A-Are you single?”

The questions from a female journalist became too personal.

“No. And you should act more professional…” Asahi sighed. He had leveled down his charm to 150, still, it was too much for mortal minds.

“Marikawa-san, all heroes carry their own ideology. Their personal take on the mysterious beings and the villains. Can you tell us about yours?”

“All the rampaging monsters will die. That’s all.”

“Asahi Marikawa, the Monster Hater…” The journalist wrote it down in a hurry. “That’s my headline… Marikawa-san, what is your relationship with Blizzard of Hell and her hero faction?”

“Nothing yet.”

Asahi replied to some more questions while sidestepping the personal ones. Afterwards, he teleported to a quiet place alongside Fubuki. Her henchmen freaked out at their boss’s sudden disappearance.
