As Fang Yiyun was browsing the micro-blog, that driver said that he had already arrived, but was unable to spot her figure anywhere.
“How’s that possible? I’m just right across the xx movie theater.” Fang Yiyun frowned and looked around, but her breath immediately stagnated.
The surroundings had unknowingly fallen into a complete silence. This place was obviously in the center of the city, so how could it be this quiet?
But all the places, whether it was the movie theater across her or the buildings in the surroundings, were completely unlit. Only the lamp lights were lit, there was no one in sight, a mist had even unknowingly appeared from out of nowhere.
This was simply like those scenes that could only appear right out a horror movie.
“Where is this place? Where are the people?” Fang Yiyun’s complexion paled, as she anxiously began to run around in panic, but was still unable to spot even a single person’s figure.
Could she have encountered a ghost? Were there really ghosts in this world?
She was so terrified that she took out her mobile phone to contact her family, but discovered that the mobile phone which was able to access the internet just a while ago, didn’t have a bit of signal at this moment.
She seemed to be the only living person in this huge space.
At this moment, the sound of footsteps sounded from somewhere nearby. Fang Yiyun let out a sigh of relief, and turned over to look. She caught sight of a very strange-looking young man. The other person wore a black hood, the face was also covered with a sunglasses and mask. The other could never be a normal person no matter how she looks…… But speaking of which, this person’s figure wasn’t bad at all.
In the next instant, the smile in Fang Yiyun’s face immediately vanished. She suddenly recalled the news broadcast she had seen a few days ago, announcing that there had already been three cases of murdered women…… She originally thought that nothing would happen with so many people around her, but now……
Does this mean that those women weren’t killed by a person but of a ghost? Was she-, going to become the fourth victim?
Fang Yiyun didn’t need to think twice, as she turned and ran. Rushing to the door of the first floor at the nearest building, and unceasingly knocked on the door, “Help, ah! Please help me–”
She turned her head while shouting, only to realize that the hooded man had also rushed over.
Fang Yiyun simply thought that she was going to die in the next instant, that she almost collapsed in helplessness. But the door in front of her suddenly opened, and a seemingly very ordinary-looking middle-aged man appeared before her.
“Are you alright?” The middle-aged man looked at her with a seemingly very startled expression, as if he had no idea what was currently happening, but his expression changed when he caught sight of the hooded man rushing over not so far away, “Oh no! could that be the murderer in those recent cases? Quickly come in, it’s too dangerous for you to be outside!”
“En!” Fang Yiyun repeatedly nodded, then followed the middle-aged man inside the house. She only felt relieved after the door had been closed. Even if the other was a ghost, it should probably be a bit wary to see two people here, right?
