Chapter 60: Meeting Cheng Jia again (part 2 of 4)

Time turns back to not so long ago.

Cheng Jia had racked his brains all the way, but was still unable to succeed in stalling for time. So much so, that his granduncle didn’t even bother to continue maintaining the smile on his face after coming out from the villa.

There were several body guards keeping a close watch on him, that even opening his mobile phone was a difficult thing to do for Cheng Jia. When he had wanted to entertain himself with his mobile phone, these people had even seized his mobile phone straight away! They were already openly keeping him from contacting other people.

Cheng JIa had also seen through this facade, everything was estimated to be pointing to disaster for him this time. Fortunately, he had taken the opportunity to send a message to grandmaster Gu before he got on the car.

Damn it! Had grandmaster Gu been present at this moment, these people would have definitely died on the spot, and would never have the chance to show off their strength.

The car stopped at the outskirts, Cheng Jia took a look at that obscured villa within sight, and couldn’t refrain from shuddering, “Granduncle, where is this place? Weren’t we suppose to-……”

“Stop talking so much nonsense. We’re just going to rest at this place for the night.” The Cheng patriarch said in a perfunctory tone, “Get off quickly.”

Cheng Jia followed after the other into the gate with great fear. At any rate, he was also someone who had come in contact with so many supernatural events, so he could keenly perceive the abnormally strong negative energy in this villa at this time. Even the shadow ghost in the box he held seems to be able to sense something as well, and had surprisingly perceived a bit of imperceptible breath for a moment.

After going through a lot of twist and turns when they entered the gate, the very frightened Cheng Jia finally reached a brightly lit hall at long last.

The decor in this hall can only be described as strange. There were mirrors all over the place, even the ceiling was covered with mirrors, that when people come in, they would see countless reflections of themselves.

There were even red talismans posted on these mirrors, which brought a kind of ominous touch, making the negative energy inside the house even stronger.

This scene had practically stirred up Cheng Jia’s previous psychological shadow. But for fear of exposing himself and causing the other to take action even faster, he could only put on a pretense by donning on a curious appearance, “Granduncle, what’s with the decoration of this place? ……these mirrors look a bit creepy too.”

In fact, the Cheng patriarch also had this same thought. Even more so, when he was continually being hunted down by that malicious spirit. He was already in a state of fear when seeing anything that reflects light. But in order to catch that malicious spirit and avoid any troubles in the future, he could only be obliged to sacrifice his nephew, Cheng Jia at this time.

“It’s alright, just go and sit down obediently.”

Cheng Jia had no choice but to sit down, only then did he notice the unexpected presence of another person seated nearby. The other person seems to be an ordinary-looking young man, with a expression filled with impatience.

But when the Cheng patriarch saw the other person, his expression immediately became flattering, “Grandmaster Ning, there shouldn’t be any problem now, right?”

The alarm in Cheng Jia’s mind immediately rang, but he faintly felt something restricting his body as soon as he had taken his seat, making him immobile. He could only take a good look at the other’s features, in order to be able to provide grandmaster Gu this bit of information if he survives by some fluke……

“There won’t be a problem.” Grandmaster Ning replied.

“Then can I head back to the room first?” The Cheng patriarch didn’t want to stay in this ghostly place for even a moment longer. That room full of talismans still feels much safer than here.

“You can go back if you want to die.” Grandmaster Ning said with a mocking expression, “Do you think that the malicious spirit is no longer interested in killing you at this time? Maybe after you head back, he would go look for you instead of coming here. If I’m not mistaken, something should have already happened to that younger brother of yours, right? ……if not, how could you be this anxious in bringing your nephew over.”

“What? Is dad?” Even though Cheng Jia held no affection towards this scummy father of his, but he still felt shocked for a moment upon hearing that the other might have encountered an accident.

The Cheng patriarch didn’t have the mood to care about Cheng Jia’s query. Cold sweat was constantly dripping from his face. He had hesitated for a while the moment grandmaster Ning put this forward before. Besides, Cheng Jia was a male offspring in their Cheng family after all, albeit a useless one at that. But killing him like this was still a bit too much……

Who would have known that the Cheng patriarch would receive the news of the death of his younger brother in a toilet of a certain wine shop not so long after. The other was said to have suffered from a huge fright and had mutilated himself to death afterwards. His death had even coincidentally happened in front a mirror!

Seeing how wretched the other looked when he died, had simply made him witlessly scared! How could a normal person die like this? This was definitely the work of Cheng Jia’s ghost! He was now looking for them in order to take their lives!

In order for things to go smoothly, the Cheng patriarch suppressed the news in advance and hadn’t informed anyone else. The Cheng patriarch hurriedly took a flight back at the same night, and found a very unreliable excuse at the time he took Cheng Jia away. In any case, he should save his life first, the other things can be discussed later.

“Since grandmaster Ning said so, then I should just stay here first.” The Cheng patriarch exuded cold sweat upon hearing this, and hurriedly sat down, and didn’t dare to bring up that topic anymore.

“Following this, so long as that malicious spirit can be lured over here, the things will be more or less completed.” Although grandmaster Ning had said this, but he still felt a little bit worried deep inside. He doesn’t have absolute confidence in handling that malicious spirit if it goes out of control after all.

But so long as Cheng Jia was here, he would be barely able to control the situation. After all, due to the initial formation, Cheng Jia would have an inextricable connection with that malicious spirit. If something bad happened to him, then that malicious spirit would also be affected to some extent……

Of course, the best scenario was for that malicious spirit to be sealed within Cheng Jia, when that time comes, wouldn’t he be at his complete disposal.
