The ghost was already trembling in extreme fear. It can instinctively perceive that the ghosts in this room was far more powerful than it could handle. What’s more, the scene in this room was so scary, making it wish it could turn back and run out at once.
However, the two persons, Gu Wuji and Qi Yunxiu were so calm, just like they weren’t inside a murder house, causing the ghost to doubt about life.
Having sensed something, Gu Wuji suddenly turned back to look. Several bloody handprint shockingly appeared on the door, which seemed to have been there since long ago, that even the bloodstains seemed to have long congealed.
This sight can easily make people’s imagination run wild. There should have once been a few people chaotically running inside the house, to run away from something. But when they got close to the door and thought that they could finally leave this place, they despairingly realized that the door wouldn’t budge the slightest bit.
“So that’s it.” Gu Wuji relayed his thoughts, “If an ordinary person were to really be incredibly frightened here, it would reveal their flaws instead.”
Qi Yunxiu, on the other hand, started to rummage around the things on the floor. He soon caught sight of a shabby black and white picture on the floor. The picture was of a family of five, which consists of an elderly man and a middle-aged couple, as well as a son and daughter.
But the daughter was quite obviously not very close to the others, as the clothes she had on her were very shabby, added on to her fearful visage. In contrast to this, the other four individuals looked more like a family, but the blood splattered on their faces, made the faint smiles on the faces of these several people somewhat creepy.
Gu Wuji only need a glimpse, and had already been able to roughly piece together a sad story.
The sound of dripping water echoed, which dripped quicker and quicker soon after. There were even the sounds of hurried footsteps and screams, as if the two of them had returned to that night when this tragedy took place.
In the next second, in unison to the scream of horror coming from the ghost that Gu Wuji had brought along inside, was the sudden appearance of a middle-aged man’s corpse at the door, with his hands still clasping the door panel.
On the other side, was a woman lying on the floor, with blood constantly flowing out from her forehead. Next to her was the son, who was stabbed in the heart by a kitchen knife and had died with a stunned expression. As he never expected that his mother, who had always loved him the most, would actually do such thing to him.
On the doorway leading to the next room, was the elderly man who died by hanging, with blood constantly trickling down from the wounds on his hands, and those wounds seemed to have been scratched by himself. One could only imagine how much pain he experienced while he was still alive.
The two persons, Qi Yunxiu and Gu Wuji were completely expressionless. The ghost, on the other hand, subconsciously retreated a few steps back in fear, but had unexpectedly backed into something ice-cold. It turned to look back, and immediately screamed in fright after shockingly realizing that it bumped into the elderly man’s head.
Gu Wuji: “……” If memory serves him right, this ghost is also a hanged ghost itself, right? Then, is it really okay for him to be so scared of his compatriots?
Qi Yunxiu looked over pensively: “It seems that even though it had already turned into a ghost, but it’s essence had still not changed a bit.”

A few corpses slowly moved to stand under the gazes of Gu Wuji and Qi Yunxiu as well as the ghost. Those sinister-looking faces then turned to look at them with cold gazes soon after, as if looking at three dead people.

“Too-, too terrible…… I’m innocent……” The ghost kept backing away in fear. It’s face became deathly pale, just like that of an ordinary person seeing a ghost.
