Nirra then unloaded all of the cartridges that were inside the tubular magazine. Each shot pierced the pillars that they were aimed at. After all of the pillars were destroyed, Nirra collected all of the brass casings that were on the ground to be rearmed with gunpowder and reused.

After the display, Ellie approached her along with Mofu. She picked up Mofu, whose secondary colors changed to black as she picked him up.

"Sis, you said that you made some improvements to that weapon, but you didn't mention that it was that large of an improvement." Ellie said it with shock in her voice.

"Yes, I'm surprised it worked. After all, you did rush me to finish it before the quest meeting earlier." Nirra said as Ellie looked down and fidgeted with her fingers.

Nirra then thought of ways to make small adjustments, like adding a sling with the help of her mother as well as iron sights that would help her aim better. Maybe even an attachment rail to mount a scope so she could pick off targets from a much larger distance.

As the twins were conversing with one another, Ameria was still recovering from her shock.

'Those pebbles penetrated the pillar as well as pierced the shield that was supposed to prevent everything from leaving the platform,' she said in her mind as she looked at the hole in the shield using her impressive elven eyes.

'This is the kind of weapon nobles and kindoms will fight over. I cannot let it or its creator fall into the wrong hands,' she thought as she walked up to the twins, who were busy with each other's company.

The twins stopped talking with each other when they heard a clap from Ameria, who was approaching them.

"That was a very impressive display, Nirra," Ameria said as she stood in front of the twins.

"Thank you, Lady Ameria," Nirra said.

"I must warn you, though. Nobles, kingdoms, and countries will fight over this weapon if word gets out about its existence. They may even come for you when the time comes, as well as your family, to use them as bargaining chips in exchange for your loyal service." Ameria warned as Nirra thought for a second.

'She's right. They would come for my friends and family if they found out a weapon like this existed and if they knew I was its creator," Nirra thought.

"I understand, Lady Ameira; I would be extra careful when using this weapon." Nirra said as Ameria nodded.

"Now that Nirra has shown us her prowess, do you care to show yours, Ellie?" Ameria said as she turned to the short-haired twin.

"Sure, why not? Does this platform create any soft dummies for me to practice on?" Ellie said as Ameria motioned for them to follow her down the steps.

"Unfortunately, the platform could not accommodate such targets. So we would be using these instead," Ameria said while she pointed at five straw dummies that were lying on the floor. The twins and Ameria got to work, carrying one dummy ecah upstairs and into small holes provided by the stone platform.

Nirra and Ameria gave Ellie some space to work with. Ellie then drew her saber as she set her feet into a combat stance. With swift movement and graceful maneuvering, she reduced the two dummies to shreds easily. As she prepared to strike down the third, she placed the blade to strike the dummy as they suddenly felt the heat that emitted from Ellie's actions.

"Blade Ignition!" She shouted as the blade burst into a torrent of flames.

The dummy was cut in half like a hot knife through butter, and the two parts of the dummy were now on fire as Ellie sheathed her sword into its scabbard.

Ellie then turned towards her sister to see her reaction. Her face filled with joy when she saw Nirra and Ameria clapping, and her sister also wore a proud smile. Mofu was gazing in her direction with curiosity. The two girls then approached her and stopped clapping.

"That was really impressive, Ellie," Nirra said as she looked at her sister.

"Indeed, it was a very fine show of strength," Ameria said while she stopped clapping.

"Yeah, Ellie, I haven't even used magical enchantment on my weapons yet." Nirra commented, which made Ellie feel a bit proud.

"Thanks, sis," Ellie said with a smile of her own.

"Now that is over, shall we start preparing for our quest later tonight?" Ameria said as she stood on the conduit once again. The whole okayform rumbled as it returned to its original position.

"Aren't you going to show us what you can do?" Ellie asked Ameria as she stepped away from the mana conduit.

"That is for later tonight, Ellie; I'm sure you would not be surprised," Ameria said.

The group then left the proving ground and entered back inside the guild. They have so much time on their hands that the twins returned home, but not before informing Ameria of their departure.

Once home, Ellie took a slight break, and Mofu ran up the stairs to take a nap in their room. Nirra found herself back inside the forge. She then sat down on the crafting bench as she took out the barrel from her lever-action rifle and laid it flat on the table itself.

She the. She started attaching a post as well as an aperture to help her aim better by using her lightning magical affinity to weld it to the barrel. She then double checked to make sure it did not deform the barrel in the slightest, and after that, she was done. She proceeded to rearrange the spent cartridges she used back on the proving ground. After that was done, she spent the rest of her time cleaning the recesses of her revolver as well as her newly made lever-action rifle. After that was done, she got help from her mother, who has experience working with leather, to help her make a sling for her weapon to help her carry it more comfortably.
