Nirra was the first to react; she fired off two shots with her shotgun, and the loud bang of said firearm echoed throughout the room. Red smoke covered Nirra as she reloaded, visually confirming that she had killed four people over the span of two shots.

"Mofu, cover me while I reload," she hurriedly said as she retreated behind the small vulpen.

"Mofu!" He replied as he sharply looked at his opponents.

Even though he was in his small form, the small fox could still dish out damage as he started conjuring up fireball spells to take out the enemies that were approaching him. Small fireballs were seen gathering around his body as his secondary colors changed to fiery red.

"Mofu!" He then released all of the fireballs that he had gathered in time before a hooded man was about 3 meters away from him. The group of hodded men were suddenly engulfed in a small explosion as their bodies were sent flying into the air due to the pressure wave of the explosion. It also caused the inside of the room to violently shake for a bit.

"Good job, mofu!" Nirra complimented as she fired another shot of her B29 Superposed at an enemy that was approaching her from behind. Blood burst out of the body as dozens of lead pellets penetrated it.

When Nirra grabbed two more shells to load into her shotgun, a figure was about to attack her from behind when suddenly he fell limp on the floor and died before he could get a good swing at Nirra.

Nirra took a quick glance to see Ellie's throwing knife embedded into the figure's back. It drew blood from the victim's open wound and said the blood was now leading to the floor.

Nirra's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of another small explosion caused by Mofu. When she got her head straight, she fired another shotgun shell at the figure that was running at her, which fell limp to the ground.

"Running out of shells, I have to load buckshot now," She said to herself, loading buckshot ammunition into her shotgun.

Clangs can be heard inside the room as Ellie and Nicholas engage in a beautiful duel of swords. Ellie went for the early offensive. She launched her body with significant speed. Aiming to slip through his defenses early on and ending it with a clean slice to the neck, but Nicholas saw the attack coming and went to defend the slash by crossing the blade between Ellie and His neck.

When the two blades met, a large number of sparks came out, which were seen like a firecracker exploding in the sky. Ellie kept up her relentless attacks, slashing left and right. Her goal was to not let Nichloas gain the opportunity to attack back, but this was a risky strategy as she would quickly run out of stamina. She knew she had to hold on until Nirra could provide her with assistance.

When she went for an overhead strike, Nicholas managed to parry it again, and the two locked eyes with each other.

"You know, your sister could have been the perfect wife for me," he said with that insufferable smirk. "Too bad she has to go somewhere," He added before kicking Ellie in the stomach.

The latter tumbled a bit before getting back up and continuing her onslaught of attacks. When she eventually started to slow down. Nicholas saw the opportunity and launched attacks of his own.

Now the tables have turned. Ellie was now on defense as she blocked Nicholas' attacks. She gritted her teeth as the loud explosions of Mofu using his fireballs and her sister firing away with her shotgun still rang inside the room.

"Wind movement!" She suddenly shouted as her body was covered in glowing green light. Her body has now returned to normal speed, even turning the tables once again on Nicholas.

"Insolent." This time it was Nicholas' turn to start running fumes. His stamina now running out, Ellie flashed a smirk of her own.

"All bark and no bite, Ellie said as she witnessed a flurry of attacks, even managing to break through Nicholas' defenses and land hits on his armor. She even managed to land a hit on his face, which leaked out a small amount of blood.

Nicholas gritted his teeth and shouted, "I will not lose to a mere peasant!" He tried to block Ellie's attacks but to no avail; the latter's attacks were still getting past his defenses, but he saw an opening when Ellie was about to do an overhead strike.

In an instant, he threw his fist at Ellie's stomach. The latter traded her armor for mobility, so the hit paralyzed her for a second, but long enough for Nicholas to send another hick to her body, giving him his much-needed breathing room.

"I told you!" He said as he breathed heavily, "I won't lose to mere peas." Before he could say anything further, pain racked around his body as he felt limp. When he gazed behind him, Nirra held her rifle with red smoke covering it.

"The bullet didn't penetrate his body, but I think it would still hurt," Nirra said to herself as she counted an attack from a hooded figure that was behind her. She managed to spear the man in the neck with her bayonet , which instantly killed him.

Back at Nicholas, he lay there, excruciating pain racking his body as he saw the shadow of Ellie loom over him.

"I'll see you in the afterlife," Ellie said as she went for the head with her sword.

Nicholas closed his eyes, waiting for the strike, but it never came. When he opened his eyes again, she could only see Ellie in mid-swing; a purple-reddish aura could be seen covering her, and her eyes opened wide in shock that she couldn't move her body.

The same can be said about Nirra and Mofu; Nirra was in the middle of standing back up after killing a hooded man with her bayonet, and Mofu was seen frozen mid-spell cast.

"I think that's enough games for today, don't you agree, Mr. Forecastle?" The hooded figure that was on the elevated platform where he stood earlier said.

The man pulled down his hood to reveal to the world that he was an adult man with a medium-sized body. He had an orangish beard and a large scar traveling down his right eye. His eyes had black scalera and deep red eyes.

Nicholas froze at his appearance, while Nirra and Ellie had a slight bit of curiosity as to why Nicholas seemed like he'd seen a ghost.

"That's impossible…" he meekly said while gazing at the figure. "You're… the old guildmaster…" he said in shock.
