After two weeks of traveling, they had finally disembarked from the carriage and onto the cobblestone floor. The Grand Catheral was more imposing now that they're right beside it. The entrance is decorated with beautiful statues of the six members of the hero's party. All facing the front of the cathedral. The walls made out of white brikes and pillars made out of marble highlighted the stairway entrance.

"You can leave your things inside the carriage. The Paladins will protect them." Preist Benedict said from behind them.

Ellie turned to face the elderly man. "What about our weapons?"

"Ah, leave them with the Paladins. Visitors are not permitted to enter with a weapon." The old preist then stepped aside so they could pit their belongings into the carriage.

Each of them did so, with Nirra, the last one, placing her shotgun, pistol, and rifle inside the carriage. She then glared at one of the Paladins and said, "Defend it with your life…"

She then walked away. The stoic Paladin, who did not shred a single expression on his face till now, felt a tinge of fear as he looked into Nirra's eyes and listened to her words.

They once again joined the old Preist as they entered the Grand Cathedral. The inside was even more extravegous than the outside. With many plant boxes littering the large open section, sculptures of the Holy One are etched into the rounded ceiling, with the center being a golden stained glass that rained down a beautiful golden light at the center of the room. The white walls were periodically separated with beautiful stained glass windows, telling the story of the hero's journey to defeat the Demon Lord. Ornate stairs with red carpet gave access to the second level to their left, and to the right, it looked like a reception desk, which they assumed led to the council room. A fountain is seen in the middle as a centerpiece, surrounded by six marble pillars that are near the center and extend to the roof. Each with a weapon mounted near the top.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Pres. Benedict said as he looked at Nirra and Ellie's expressions. "The weapons on top of those pillars are the same weapons the six members of the hero's party wielded," he explained as he also gazed upwards.

The north pillar mounted a longsword with a golden handle, its handguard decorated with jewels, and an obsidian black blade with cracks of gold shining through.

"That's... Adamandium, the hardest metal ever discovered." Nirra murmured as she looked at the sword in awe along with her sister.

"Hey, miss." Nirra felt someone touch her on the arm. When she looked down, she saw a little girl wearing a nun's outfit.

She then looked up at Nirra and said. "Can I ask a question, ma'am?"

"Go ahead…" Nirra replied, still taking in the insides of the cathedral.

"Is that a vulpen?" The little girl pointed at Mofu, who was sitting upright on her shoulder. The fox's paws and tail tips turned gold, as if he were mimicking the holy atmosphere.

Nirra looked at Mofu for a few seconds before she looked back at the girl. "Yes, yes, he is. His name is Mofu."

"Mofu!" The fox wagged his fluffy tail.

"I only read about these creatures. It feels amazing that I get to see one in the flesh!" The littler girl wore a big smile as she looked at Mofu. Specifically, his fluffy ears. "C-can I?" she asked sheepishly.

Nirra then kneeled down so that the little girl could rub the fox's head. Without hesitation, the girl patted Mofu's head with a big smile on her face. Mofu, though, closed his eyes as if he were enjoying the pats.

Preist Benedict approached the young girl while waving his finger. "Now now, Elanor, Miss Agustine here is being urgently called by the Grand Priest. It isn't good to keep him waiting."

"Oh! Then I won't bother you any longer then!" She then stood back up along with Nirra. "I'll see you later, Mofu! I can't wait to pat your head again!" She then bowed before she ran off to join her friends who were waiting for her.

"What are the kids doing here?" Ellie walked up to Nirra and Preist Benedict.

"They're Preistesses in training; they showed immense talent for holy magic, so they were taught at an early age to become Preistesses," he explained. "Now we have to go; the Grant Preist is inside his office waiting for you." He then motioned for them to follow him upstairs to the second level. The second level was as decorated as the first, with plant pots lining each room, which they assumed were the bishop's offices. Nirra noticed that it bears a striking resemblance to the adventurer's guild in Aeris.

They walked down the hallway until they reached another wide staircase and proceeded to ascend to the third floor. Immediately after the staircase, there was a large double door decorated with wooden carvings of the church's emblem.

Preist Benedict knocked on the door three times before they heard a reply for them to go inside.

Inside was elegantly decorated, with bookshelves lining one side of the room and tables with expensive-looking pottery on the other. The walls were decorated with paintings of the hero and his party, along with a portrait of the current Grand Priest. In front of them, they saw a large table where an elderly man sat. Behind him were more stained windows that let different colors of light into the room.

"Ah, you have arrived." They heard the elderly man speak. His clothes consisted of a white robe with blue and gold accents. He wore a headdress that was very similar to what the pope wears back on earth. His hair was white, giving an indication of his age, and he wore glasses to help with his eyesight.

Preist Benedict placed a hand on his chest and bowed. "Yes, Grand Preist. I have brought with me Miss Nirra Agustine along with her party."

"Good, let me formally introduce myself first. I am Francis Mikhail III, the current Grand Preist of the Church of the Holy One."

'Kalashnikov, is that you?' Nirra couldn't help but think when she heard the name Mikhail.
