Chapter 106 Fire Birds Vice-Leader! by Harem-Ham
[That Rick Tang is going on the cruise as Victoria's bodyguard, can you do anything about it? You know I have been pursuing her to strengthen our Long and Ben family?]

Mercy tells me.

I look into Mercy's eyes and I can see she really wants to prove herself to me. I nodded to her.
"Then when I can't see Victoria, be at her side. I will make sure you and I carry enough gear as Bodyguards for this mission."
Plus not known to the other women, Mei is as good if not a bit better than even Mercy. So that gives us three fighters. I say to Lucy.
"I am not forgetting your safety as well, so I or Mei will be with you in-case something happens."

"Oh my, my heart is thumping thinking a young man will protect me, Ufufu. Actually during University, I learned enough Kung-Fu and a bit of handgun use, so I can help if you need me in a pinch, fufu."
I tell Victoria my thoughts on her sister.
"Not sure what I can help with concerning Kimberly but, don't take any business trips she suggests or go to any family meetings alone for a while."
"Rick, I will tell you first if anything is out of the norm so you can guide me, I won't worry you."
I then finish our meeting with.
"I will buy us some compact-gas-masks and the like, as well as charcoal-pills and some possible anti-toxins we might need for the things they might use. I fortunately know my way around pharmacology."

Jenifer Han is wearing dark-stockings and her black and crimson lady-suit, with her matching black-long-coat to me, sigh. We fucking look like the real couple here.

And as we come to enter the facility many staff are bowing to us in respect.
The hotel portion of the Country Club Resort is 7 stories tall while everything else is single floor and spread out with high ceilings. When you enter this fully glass walled restaurant that is near the hotel, it gives you the feeling of entering a classy-casino.
The first thing you notice about this Country Club Resort is that only 1 in 10 employees are men. And the few men here are security or suited Fire Birds members as managers.
Now one of the darker secrets of this place is... Ugly wealthy women come here for the few male handsome prostitutes to get impregnated by, due to the lack of men over all. Life is bitter to unattractive women, and honestly, I do not look down on them for wanting kids even with a loaner. But these male men make even more money than some of the women. And there have been some that get their contracts paid, and marry their clients.
The gorgeous female manager greets us at the inside lobby and bowed. Naturally you can tell who is a Fire Birds by the crimson ornaments in their hair or on their person. She is one of us.
"Greetings Vice-Leader and Lady Feng, please follow me to the Leaders room for your meal."
As we follow this eager woman, I sigh in my heart because, with my new position, I can literally point to any of these women and have them. What a ridiculous social shift I have found myself in, from common place to a future power player.
Of course I would never do this, but it is flattering to know you could. The women I have and love are more than this current me can handle. Plus I don't think my mission in this world is to spread my seed everywhere.

As we near our destination, this excited manager had been non stop telling me about the facility and what amenities it offers, like golfing, horseback-riding, and tennis indoor and outdoor.. Basically she only told me the light-side.

Inside the large private-room sat 5 men of the older generation. The table is big enough for 12 comfortably, but only Tina and I will be eating, so we will use only half the table.

The oldest man in the center, Daniel Feng, uncle to Tony Feng is wearing a crimson-crushed-velvet-suit with a white-shirt. He is in his mid 60's with grey and red hair with his trademark right-side scar under his eye.
The identities of the other four men are Fire Birds state managers.... Azure - Paul Yamaha, Crimson - Bill Woo (Cat's uncle), White - Douglas Xi, and Black - Randy Lee (Lee is a very common last-name, like Smith in the USA)
Daniel excitedly stands to come to me to pat my shoulders and tells me.
"This old man is proud to have a good seed to take our Fire Birds forward. I knew when I met you it was only a matter of time, now come and meet your new subordinates!"
Paul Yamaha extended his hand and said to me.
"You will see me the most here in Star City, so just point and tell me your wants, and it will be done by hook or by crook!"
Douglas Xi Also with a grin happily shakes my hand then tells me.
"The moment you won your fight, the Crouching Tiger Manager in White state wanted to work closer with me, ha-ha. I had not even met you and things are looking up for me."

"All of the groups in the Black State think you and I are relatives now. I just shrug and say maybe! We Lee's have to stick together."
When Bill Woo came to me he bowed in shame and said.
"My Woo family asked for your forgiveness, Vice-Leader! My nieces soon to be ex-husband has shamed us. I will discipline my niece if that will make amends!"

"Mr Woo please stop, your family had nothing to do with Steve, and at most Tina and Cat are rivals with harsh words exchanged. Your niece has not done anything directly to us and has remained quiet. Randy Lee took my hand and joked.
"All of the groups in the Black State think you and I are relatives now. I just shrug and say maybe! We Lee's have to stick together."
When Bill Woo came to me he bowed in shame and said.
"My Woo family asked for your forgiveness, Vice-Leader! My nieces soon to be ex-husband has shamed us. I will discipline my niece if that will make amends!"
I saw Tina's eyes glint when she heard we could punish Cat, but I cut her off.
"Mr Woo please stop, your family had nothing to do with Steve, and at most Tina and Cat are rivals with harsh words exchanged. Your niece has not done anything directly to us and has remained quiet. She is also our classmate and it would be in bad taste to punish her for her husband. Plus, I would like a good relationship with the Woo family."
All five men were impressed with the way I handled that ugly disgrace of Steve Woo. Even Tina is giving me a funny look.
So our group sat and traded compliments and niceties. Then Daniel had Jenifer pass copies of the books she and I worked on yesterday to the four regional managers to look over. They were happy to find some discrepancies and some legal loopholes we could use to pay less in taxes to the Central Government.
That is right! We the four Syndicates are the biggest funders of the Central Government for domestic and foreign activities. Naturally the four families and tax payers also fund the war-machine and public order. But hands down without the Syndicates, the Government would go broke... Crime Pays for the lawfully common man's livelihoods.
Our food had been served and we toasted to my new position effective at that moment.
I told them all that what Tina says is what I say, even with me being the real leader. No one opposed me on this, especially seeing the books and how I handled the Woo Clan affair.
I remembered my buddy and said to the local manager.
"Paul Yamaha, I have a request for a brave man in Star City. His name is Luke Fu and he lacks a bit in the intellectual brilliance, his words, but he is strong and most of all brave. If you can find a brighter position for him, I would be happy. He risked his life on interstate 69, allowing us to defeat the Southern Cross and the traitor Laura Long."

"I know of Luke, I will send him to the West Side Docks. His fists will be better where we deal with foreign gangs the most, like the recent Mad Hatters. That was the group that attacked the Mall not too long ago. They are branching out from North America and trying to fill the temporary vacuum left by Southern Cross."
"Yeah, I killed a couple of them, their modus operandi is they all use animal masks and the animal names for their identities."

Paul heard rumors of it due to the Woo incident and confirmed.
"Luke Fu will then be the West Side manager answering to me, you, and the leader then."
After that we talked and drank for another half-hour before we all parted.
Every single branch of the Fire Birds now had my position replace Tina with the amendment of her still being my voice and hand. Now every member will recognize me nationwide.
The Mad Hatters may sound comical and lame, but they prove to be a strong stepping stone, for me, Alex, and Kim.
