Chapter 142 Earth Girls Are Easy! by Harem-Fan
"Alright class, just like at the start of the year, I will have a few of you come up in groups of two to read some lines together. It will break the ice and let me see what your on the spot acting skills each of you possess."
She then puts up a box with the names of 19 groups. She has us all take one, to see who our partners will be.
Kate pouted when she saw she didn't get the same number as me.
"Now everyone, find your partners."
I look to see, my number is #7! Soon in the confusion, I found the person with my matching number. She is a tall woman with long-brown-hair and green-eyes. You guessed it, Ana Zi. Oh and the look of jealousy coming from the death-god behind Kate, directed to Ana is palpable.
Ana stands next to me and whispers.
"Well, I am happy we can test some lines together, because if you get the role, we will have many fun scenes together, fufu."
"Sure, but it is only acting."
Ana smiles and says suggestively.
"But acting is just an expression of ourselves, so for a short while, we became someone else. So it is like role-playing. We get to be those characters for a bit. I like my Vampire noble character, she is strong, sexy, and aggressive. I can relate to her. Naturally I can't tell you the plot unless you sign the nondisclosure-agreement, but you could say there are love triangles in the next movie, fufu, and it is rated-R."
The two of us watch the six groups ahead of us, and Kate with another girl are doing a scene from a romance comedy, of two girls fighting over the right to be a 1st wife for so and so. I can tell, most of these scripts come from old drama or soaps, back when the teacher was still acting.
Funnily, both Sam and Logan are in the same group, so the teacher had to use a rarely used skit with two men in it. This time both men are fighting over their childhood love. I can actually tell, Logan is freshly into Advanced level, while Sam is only at the peak Basic level of acting.
I could tell the Teacher Song and many of the girls in class were surprised at the talent of Logan. Well, he came from a Temple, and they train hard in everything they pursue in life.
Sam was taken-aback at Logan's skill, and felt he was still better, but now he has to show up this older man now. But I warned Logan about Sam, so no big deal.
"Number 7, please come up."
So when Ana and I walked up together, a lot of the girls gossiped due to both of our identities, like an ugly-prince is up with a swan-commoner girl. Not that bad but we actually look good together on stage.
Okay, that was a stretch, but the girls like the name Tang, and my dressing style, so I am automatically seen as desirable even with my just above average looks. Ana on the other-hand, has all the looks, but a common background. She is a Cinderella to the other girls.
"Here, I think this scene is good for you two."
I swear to God, I think June Song just winked at me. So I looked at the scene and noticed Ana has a smile on her face. Yeah, this is a damn romance scene of a young man confessing, sigh. I think I just saw this scene at lunch time, right?!
So, with my Acting Advanced, it was very easy to memorize this scene, well with my Education Basic assisting as well. So the Teacher Song says.
"Alright, Rick stand on Mark 4, and Ana, stand on Mark 2"
When acting, in a play or a movie, they put Marks on the floor to show where the actors must stand during a scene. This is so the audience, or cameras always have a clear view of the acting going on. Also, if a scene needs to be re-done, you can find out where in a set you need to be, so the many cuts look natural.
Ana and I ended up two feet away from one another and faced a bit to the audience. It is not the natural way we would stand talking to one another, but the viewers see our faces better.
"Okay, both of you start now."
After the teacher said her words, Ana switched to a different person, a cold high-school noble girl, who has a fiance. I am playing the part of a childhood friend, who wants to convince the girl to elope with me, and leave her family for true love.
Ana on her mark put her back to me for the start, and I had my hands held out palms up. She starts the scene.
"Kris, why have you come, I told you to stay away from me."
"Alice, you are all my heart dreams about night and day. This pain in my chest cannot be cured without you!"
Ana looks over her shoulder and snorts derisively and counters.
"My family has already made the decision, I am to be Scott Zhang's wife, now leave."
I then approach and spin her around to face me, and take her hands. Oh, they are soft as a side thought. Anyway I tell her my feelings.
"But I joined the Military for you, and in two weeks, I will be sent to the Africa Battlefield, so please, Alice, let me love you as a husband! We may never see each-other again. You are my childhood love, after-all!"
My Acting Advanced let me add the raw emotion of those feelings of desperation, to share my last moments with my true love. Just like my Kung-Fu Animal Styles, I get into the characters mind and pretend I am him, while remembering my lines.
Ana, feeling my tightening hands, began to get lost in her role, like when the perfect prop is helping you, your two Skills Synchronize making both actors better, it is chemistry.
"You are an idiot! Who told you to do something so stupid, to throw your life away?!"
"Alice~! The moment you accepted Scott Zhang's proposal, my life was already over! I was desperate to get a job, you would be happy with it! A widow, of a soldier that dies in battle, will want for nothing, so, please marry me, my lovely Alice!"
While holding her hands firmly, I got on one knee, like a proper proposal in my first Earth, this was a bit spontaneous and was not in the script, but my Acting Advanced said it was the right move for this scene. Teacher Song noticed this move as she is a peak Advanced Actress.
I channeled desperation into my voice, and even managed to make some tears surface at the corners of my eyes, like I would be devastated if she rejected me. Ana's line then came.
"I-I cannot love you the way you want! Get out of my sight! Kris, I hate you!"
Ana expertly added a tremble to her voice to show she is faltering, and then it was my line, so I stood and pulled her into my chest, with both her hands on my chest. This move allows an actress to retain their dignity, of not having to rub their tits on another actor. Well some actresses don't care and would do it for realism.
"No Alice! You love me, if you don't, then push me away!"
Ana's green-misty-eyes, and my emotional-blue-eyes, slowly advance to one another as a dramatic super-slow-kiss would ensue, but the script tells us to stop just as our lips would meet.
But unfortunately, the audience does not know this...
Just as Ana closed her eyes, and our breaths mingled, there were two shouts from the crowd.
"Rick, don't kiss her!"
"Ana, don't you dare kiss that trash!"
If you guessed the two frantic standing students yelling, are Kate and Sam, you win a gold-star.
Clap Clap Clap! June Song stood up and clapped for me and Ana, who are an inch away and looking at each-other, due to knowing we rocked it! Teacher Song said.
"Both of you followed that scene perfectly, and Rick, nice mood improvement there with the kneeling, it was fresh. You two were so convincing, that even the stars of Entertainment Tonight, could not help but participate, fufu. A+ to both of you."
So Teacher Song asked us both followup questions...
"Now, Rick, what made you kneel down for the proposal? And it seems you are comfortable with that character."
I smile and admit.
"Actually, I have a bit too much experience with proposing to wives and lovers. As for the character, yeah, my past led to the emotions of desperation that Kris' character felt."
Song nodded understanding that, then asked Ana.
"And you seemed to relate to Alice, so how did you channel that?"
"Alice is a woman, throwing love away for security and her own family and personal happiness. In the end, I felt she was going to use Kris for the benefits, then after, return to Scott. Probably with broken chastity and a baby not Scott's. That is the type of woman Alice was, I believe."
Song shook her head and said.
"I played Alice a long time ago, and she actually loved Kris, and the two married, had a child, and Kris survived the war. Well that was how the show wrote it, but your interpretation is your projection into the character, and It was still very good."
Yup, and that is the reason I would not fall in love with Ana. Her acting is fucking amazing though. Doing love scenes with her would be fine, but in real life, I would never love her, due to her jaded views.
Nadia and Nichole almost ended up like Ana, but something in them changed when we met. I like to think, my presence changed their hearts, just a bit. Well, Nichole told me that in private, when she declared her love stronger than Nadia's, a bold claim indeed. But I think they both love me the same, just differently.
Teacher Song in a good mood asked Sam.
"Mr Sun, first never call a fellow actor trash in my class again, mkay! And second, what made you call out so passionately in that scene?"
Sam, both pissed and embarrassed, said.
"I could see in Rick's eyes, he was going to kiss her without permission, so as a fellow actor, I had to alert Ana to Rick's intentions of taking advantage of her."
Ana rolled her eyes at Sam for calling the kettle 'Black'. Then Teacher Song asked Kate.
"And I guess you felt the same way, Miss Kong?"

June Song, a veteran to actress-rivalry, and an old fox, could see through this little girl. So she said.
"Perhaps you are right? Maybe, I should not have you or Ana do any romantic scenes with Rick to be safe?"
Idiot-Girl now looks obvious and blurted.
"No, no, it is fine, I see Mrs Long in the morning and after school, so I will let her know for the future, and it will be fine!"
Kate realized, with the removal of the two boys, and two girls, that still made 31 other women for me to do romantic scenes with, just to keep Ana from it.
Song said to us.
"Okay, we are running behind, group 8 come on up."
So I watched the rest, with a pouting Kate next to me.

As Kate and I left drama class, she was looking glum and asked.
"Did you want to kiss Ana?"
Kate is only asking before Ana gets caught up to us, so I tell her honestly.
"No, but if the script calls for it, I don't care, because it is only a kiss without feelings. I will never be in a porn, so sex will never happen. So don't worry. I only think she is a good actress."
"If you are talking about a good actress, is it me, Rick?"
I nodded and pointed to her and Kate.
"Out of all the young actresses from all four major companies, you two are on top for talent. Both of you attract different kinds of fans. Plus share a Vampire crossover with fans."
The three of us made it to the limo-pickup, and I saw my white-Tang-limo, so I said to Ana.
"While I am watching, get into your car, and look in the backseat before you get in, in-case someone sneaks in, see you tomorrow."
Ana knows I am in business mode and waved goodbye to me, and she left school.
Then my wives all had shown up, with Vicky getting into her Velvet Tower limo. She splits for the evening till later before bedtime.
