(A/N I have waited for this chapter since the very first one was posted. The first and most pivotal year for Rick Lee. I know many readers had not expected the developments from the first chapter to end like this. Yes, the person to send the Police and Ambulance was finally revealed. Anyway, this Chapter is for my real wife, who is celebrating our 20th anniversary with me as I post this!)
Chapter 168 Back In Front Of The Quick-Mart One Year Later! by Harem-Fan
I look at my smartphone and smile, seeing it is now 11:30 pm.
I am wearing a pair of bluejeans, in a plain white tee-shirt, back to my poor days, with some high-tops. I am sitting on that lonely bench in front of Quick-Mart before my birthday at midnight.
The bench across the street under the streetlight, brings back memories. Right now, Star Highschool is having their Prom Night.
"Linda, Nichole, and Nadia looked beautiful last year. It is so difficult for me to believe what has happened in one short year..."
I do not know what got into me. I went to the old apartment to clean up, and wore some of my old clothing. But now it is a bit tight on my now athletic body, sigh.
But I had the urge to come here, so I left my car and just came with my smartphone on silent mode. I walked here and did not drive. I just felt, I needed to be here tonight... The night, My System Quit!
Tonight, I didn't even bring guns with me, not like I still need them, now that my skills are almost fully where they need to be. I watch some Prom Students stop by and buy some beer and wine for their after party.
What am I waiting for? Why am I sitting here alone and not in the arms of one of my incredible women? Simple, I never got to buy that damn can of beer I waited for. Sure I am of age and can do it, but it is different. That night was full of regret and pain. I feel doing this will close another hidden wound.
I think about what has happened recently...
Vicky and I really talked that night, I just held her in my arms and told her everything, except about Lucy and Mei. That secret is not mine to tell. She, after our questions and answers, made love to me for the rest of the night, slowly and with passion.
On a sad note, Victoria will end her Teaching Job after Finals in two weeks. Her responsibility as the new Head of Long and her own businesses, along with pregnancy, makes it impossible for her to keep teaching.
Mary is back on her beat, and solving cases in the streets, before she gets saddled with Sergeant duties. In a twist of Irony, she, like last year, is working. She also had sent me to the apartment to clean it for our anniversary night.
Pam and Sam Sun are in a panic, because it seems, I am going to outperform Sam in our bet, sigh. Yeah, part of me does and doesn't want to star in the 2nd Vampire movie. But... Do I have a Vampire fetish, or is it just Kate?
Jean and Kate are over the moon about me getting a higher grade and rating than Sam. He has been preoccupied in class and distracted, after his marriage to the China beauty. It seems he had been unable to have sex for a while, and now that he is married, it is an every-night occurrence. His concentration had been affected. Mei only giggled hearing of Sam being drained every-night.
Last week, our Kung-Fu club went to the Nationals and we cleaned their clocks. Love Triangle was happier than a virgin losing their purity when we clinched the trophy.
Thinking of Linda in her white prom dress last year, I am reminded that in only 5 weeks, she will give birth to our baby girl. A smile made its way onto my mouth, as I thought of our past together, and how she hardly smiles... Yet, she next to Lucy is the most vocal in bed.
Thinking of babies, I am reminded of Tina, who was confirmed pregnant shortly after our wedding. She too is having a girl.
Thinking of my wedding with Tina, I will marry Linda after university exams are over. Her mother is panicking to get it done, with our child around the corner. And for her, a child out of wedlock is a slap to her face. I think about how Linda's dad always gives us a thumbs-up behind her back as she panics.
Oh, and the new Lang-Lee Raceway will be done soon. They did not do the oval traditional stock car track, but a twisting street racing track to challenge driving skills to their limits. It is very dangerous and will bring in the downhill crowd. Head Lang will televise it, and have the Syndicates do the online betting, giving a bit of kickback to the Lang.
Kim has been stressed with her final exams and I had to help her set them up. She too has been scatterbrained knowing that just before the new university year, she will officially become my wife. In class, she will sometimes space out with a stupid looking grin, as she imagines our family.
Her parents and I have been corresponding to make preparations for the Smith and Wesson move to Eurasia. But their sons found out, and they have thrown tantrums as of late. They will be a thorn in my side when I go to America for sure.
Hana has taken a leave of absence from her ER position, and is taking care of her body and our boy. She wants to take a long summer break before becoming a pediatric student at Star University with us. She has hung her vinyl miniskirt outfit on her closet door, to remind herself of her goal to get back into tip top shape, to be my ultimate trophy wife. I was told as usual to stuff it, when I said it was not necessary. This is just her thing.
Seeing the clerk working inside, I laugh in my mind... Jim is ringing up customers with a happy face. Even though he is my neighbor living in the illustrious Garden Estates, and married to the wealthy Ashley, he insisted on working his Quick-Mart job. When Akeno questioned why, he told everyone...
"Rick and I are going to build a business empire, and I need to see business from the bottom up! I have been promoted and my goal is to become the store manager before University ends in three years, this is my Business Way! Believe It!"
Yeah, no one but me caught the Naruto Gag he pulled, but Akeno was impressed. Oh and she and Jim had a beautiful baby girl. Akeno brings her over to be with my son Rick. I think if they get along in the future, Hana and Akeno will try to get them together, sigh. Sorry in advance son!
Ashley had also gotten pregnant at the same time Tina did, so I have jokingly renamed our neighborhood, The Nursery Garden Estates...
Just as I looked to the alleyway I had been beaten in, my Smartphone rang...
Ring Ring Ring! Looking at the time and caller, I saw it was 11:40 and it was Lucy...
"Hiya Lucy, how are you?"
[Seeing you remember last year is tearing me up. I want to hold you.]
"No, I am thinking of good things. I am just here to buy that beer that eluded me. You calling me was enough. I love you."
[I hope you like my birthday present I am sending you, I love you, Click... do do do...]
I look a bit confused. What birthday present? How did she know I would come here, and I had not planned to do it... does she know me so well, she knew where I would end up before I did?
Woo Woo Chirp! From down the street, a squad car light flashed for a moment with a chirp, then it pulled over.
Mary with her Police Officers uniform got out of the car, and made her way to me with a big grin, telling me she knew from earlier I would come. Yeah, she knows me even better than Lucy. Mary sat beside me and put her arm around me with a smile.
"I was a bad sister last year, and was not here for you. So my little brother, I caught you in the act. Are you going to come quietly, or will I have to call for backup?"
She kissed my cheek, with eyes telling me she is up to no good, so I ask.
"Officer Lee, what back-"
Just then from the left-side, opposite of where Mary came in from, a long black limo pulled up in front of the Quick-Mart, just like last year, it was Linda's.
The driver and another bodyguard dressed in a black suit wearing tacky sunglasses got out, just like Scott's bodyguards did. The two are Mercy and Mei. Mei cannot hide her playful smile. Mercy then opened the car door, to let out the four occupants inside.
The first to emerge was Kim wearing a mens black tux, followed by Linda in her white prom dress fitted for her very pregnant belly. Then in their stunning silver dresses, Nadia and Nichole came out with wicked grins seeing my expression of surprise but joy.
Kim blushed and explained in embarrassment.
"I was told to play the role of Scott, um, but I won't say what they wanted me to say, so just do not go and get prostitutes! you have us, cough."
Even Linda cracked a grin seeing Kim try to role play a bit, while Mary next to me was laughing hard. Then Kim looked at Mercy and Mei and said.
"You two, go and take care of Rick, I am going in with the ladies."
So with smiles on their faces, Mei and Mercy came to me, and each grabbed an arm of mine, while Mary was pushing my back.

As the two women pulled me around the corner, Mei held me from behind with her arms around my waist, and she said while tiptoeing to my ear.
"Now stay put you little trouble maker, let us show you how to break your will, fufu~!"
As Mei licks my ear, Mercy grins and kisses me from the front, and takes my hand to put on her belly, reminding me of my second son.
After about 5 minutes of make out, Mercy said to me.
"Now stay here for a minute, we need to go out front. Love you Master~!"
So the two wonderful maids left me all alone in the alley, not knowing what in blue blazes they are all up too.
Clink! I heard the employee door of the Quick-Mart open, and wearing a uniform, with her tinted red hair, Lucy came out with a sad smile. She held me tight and said while pointing to a camera down the alley.
"That night, I could only call the police and an ambulance to save you. I was helpless to do anything else for you that night. I claim to be the one that loves you the most, but I was not ready for it. I was spying to see the moment you emerged, but I had no idea Scott would do that to you. My heart broke..."
I held Lucy tight, and kissed her deeply, not letting her talk. Her phone alarm started to play a happy birthday song as midnight struck, making our kiss stop. Her drunk looking expression brightened and she said to me.
"Happy birthday my Golden Dragon, my Emperor, and my love. I will always and forever be at your side."
I only found her blue eyes and fogged up glasses a bit cute. I say back.
"I really wish I could bring you with me when I leave far in the future. I love you and please don't feel guilty, you have given me everything, and I love it. This present you gave me tonight, has made my heart feel the best."
She pulled away with a grin and said.
"Now go buy your stupid beer, and I will see you some other time, you have prom-dates waiting on you, Ufufu."

When I left the alley, I didn't see Mary and the other girls outside, so they must have gone into the Quick-Mart, so I went there...

There were no customers in the store, but it was full of my friends, family, and lovers.
Jim, Jen, Ashley, and Akeno were behind the counter grinning.
Jenifer, Mei, Mercy, and Hinata were off to one side by the magazine-racks.
Victoria, Hana, Nichole, Nadia, Linda, Tina, Kate, and Kim are standing along the wall with all the cold drinks, with Mary standing at the beer door, pointing to the bottle of Lite beer I like, she only grins knowing what I want.
I could only say to everyone.
"Thanks to everyone here, I am very happy."
I strolled over to the beer door that the Police Officer held open, and grabbed a 40 oz.
I then walked over to the silly looking monkey and put it on the counter, he then said.
"I am gonna need to see some ID, kid."
Fuck he really did it with a straight face. So for the show, I showed him my ID. He nodded and then reached for something and put it next to my beer. He said.
"It is Prom Night, and if you would have gotten this last year, you might have ended up in a different place, he-he. It is my gift to you, on the house."
As I picked up the box to look at it, all the women laughed at my face... I held it up, and said defeated.
"A 12 pack of Condoms..."
After the ladies had their fun laughing some more, Akeno said to Jim.
"But Monkey, you said real men don't use Condoms?"
Nadia heard that took the box and threw it in the trash, she puffed out her chest and proudly said.
"Nicky and I trained him well!"
As Nichole was going to face palm at her sister embarrassing her, she thought about our first time, and then just nodded.
Jim shut the front doors then played dance music on a sound system, and dimmed the lights. He then turned his hat around and announced.
"Alright ladies, it is Rick's Prom night, now get him!"
And with that, for the next hour, the girls all danced with me, while Jim played as a DJ for us. Mary left for work after her dance though.
As we are about to end things, Hinata asked.
"Sensei, I never had a Prom, would it be fine to have a short dance as well?"
So while everyone was cleaning up and getting the Quick-Mart back in order, I slowly danced with Hinata. She was elegant, and I caught her looking at her bracelet a few times, but I did not mention it.
And that was my memory of my 19th birthday, when My System Quit just one year before...
