Soon, the front of the massive mansion came into view when I left the tree lined quiet main drive of the Tang Estates. I naturally see Helen standing on the front steps of the home, just barely able to see over the statue of the Mother Tiger and her two Cubs. I imagined Helen, sitting in the grass on a picnic blanket, watching our two children playing together, like the two cubs I played with as a child. My imagination is a bit special, right?
As I parked my demon I grabbed the file next to me. I had stepped out of my wonderful sports car, and glanced over at the famous Tang statue one last time, then walked to Helen's side.
Helen seeing me look at the same thing she has been looking at for a half hour, made her have butterflies in her stomach, for she was also imagining, watching her two children playing.
"Rick, I am glad to see you safe. Is that the file you are giving?"
I smiled and nodded, but she missed my playful glint in my eyes. I said.
"Yeah, your future husband is here. Have you been standing out here long?"
She lied, and I saw it.
"Not at all, I just got out here. So can I see the file?"
"Sorry, uncle Anthony has to see it first. So let us go see him."
Helen took my arm like always, and she guided me in like her normal caring self. I almost feel bad for my prank, almost...

Inside the informal family room, Anthony, Kim, and Helen sit across from me for this semi formal meeting. Helen is sitting across because of it, otherwise she would be next to me like always.
I handed the file to Anthony and he smiled. I joked.
"Now with this, Big Burger is saved, right?"
"Of course, I am a man of my word, ha-ha!"
As uncle opened it his face froze! I literally picked the worst asshole of the fake files and slid it in there, so I say as Helen too froze in shock.
"Patric Hong is the obvious choice, and none of those 12 women have had their rape cases proven. His average GPA will make it so he is too stupid to steal anything from Helen, and his appearance is alright."
Kim was confused, because her husband was bragging that my formal document would be the only choice, so when she looked at me, she saw it... The mischief in my eyes. Kim looked back at Helen and her husband, at their petrified looks, and she saved the day.
"Anthony and Helen dears, I believe Rick is just messing with you for giving him bad men to look at?!"
Father and daughter then looked at me and I shrugged.
"Actually, you can't marry Patric Hong anyway, he messed with some shady characters, and they ruined his life-rod. The Police still cannot find the thugs who did it." (Luke, cough)
I then pulled out my file from my jacket pocket and put it on the table, then Helen picked it up to see my stupid face. Anthony seeing it let out a breath he did not know he was holding and gave me eyes of scolding.
"Ah, But if you do not want me, I did find some nice guys in there too, well kinda nice guys. Or you can just tell me who you want, and I will pick him?"
Helen, hearing my last sentence, only leaped over to hug me a bit too tight, and made my neck stiff. I heard her almost cry while saying.
"No! I only want you at my side, dummy..."
Anthony pretending to be strict with Helen said.
"Cough, Helen, it is not official yet, so your behavior is not right."
Smack! Kim gave her man a slap on his arm for being stupid right now, but he grins at her. Helen on the other-hand ignored her father and continued to hug me. I pat her back to calm her down and say.
"I was only joking before, and I am not teasing you. But I am sorry you will be my 10th wife."
"Rick, I would be happy to only be your lover let alone 10th. I only want you in my life till we are old and gray."
And then, to my and Anthony's surprise, she gently kissed me.
As he was starting to point to scold her, Kim covered his mouth and gave him eyes telling him to shut up. Helen finished with the kiss said with a smile.
"Now you must take responsibility for that was my first kiss!" (2nd, she does not want others to know she kissed Rick already)
"Ah, But am I taking your name?"
Phht! Kim stifled a laugh hearing my joke... Yeah, this woman has always gotten my bad sense of humor. I am so glad I helped her family out back then.
Anthony said to me.
"Rick, then from this moment, you are Helen's betrothed. Let us have the wedding party in November. But can you two try to have grandchildren come out by next summer rather than too early? I want to save a bit of face this winter, plus becoming the Head is stressful?"
Helen sitting in my lap tells me and her father her plans.
"I have already discussed this with my family doctor (Hana) and I have started the pill. I will not get pregnant till the end of University, if that is fine with you Rick?"
I feel awkward talking about this with them right now, so I only nod to Helen taking charge with her firm tone.
"That is wise, my daughter, cough, well Lang's wife made Lang look a bit shameful, and I don't want to eat humble pie in public. So thank you two for being responsible... As for being lovers, do what you guys want, just do not shame our house in public."
Hearing the green-light, Helen held my waist and put her head on my chest, leaving me with a stiff smile. Then Anthony said in a good mood.
"Rick, come with me, I want to share a Vodka I have been saving for a happy day."
Helen looked like she did not want to let me go, but Kim took her arm and said.
"Let the boys talk, you and I have dinner to set."

In Anthony's private office, he sent off the guards and poured the high priced Vodka for us, we toast.
