Chapter 69 Interstate Highway 69! by Harem-Fan
We have just got onto Interstate Highway 69 that travels northbound till North City then curves to travel towards the Crimson State to the north of Eurasia.
All SUVs have put in a full tank of gas and all five vehicles are using a handheld radio to keep in contact for issues.
Mei Xia is driving while Tina is sitting behind her, while Jenifer is in the front-passenger seat with me sitting behind her. I occasionally get some eye-smiles from my maid as she has already guessed what I have done. She is a skilled Seduction-Spy after-all.
With post-nut-clarity I realize something about Mei Xia. What will we do about her China Empire mission in the future? Woman's intuition kicking in, Tina tightens her hold on my left-arm and asks me.
"Can I use you as a lap-pillow, Rick? I am feeling sleepy."
I smirk at this sexy woman that has offered her everything to me, and teased.
"Yes mam, you are paying big bucks for this lap, so I shall prostitute it for your pleasure young lady."

An hour later while Tina was sleeping, Jenifer told me.
"Ronald Di, Number 6, has not been seen entering North City. All of our Fire Birds have been on the lookout in that city and nothing has alerted them."
I pull out my smartphone and bring up my Cat and Mouse App. I punch in his phone and find its location.
"Actually it seems he is behind us in that small-town we passed. He stopped for gas and got a room in that pit-stop area? I noticed some construction work on the highway off ramp there as well. So for now he does not seem to be going to North City."
Mei raised her eyebrow and asked.
"Master Lee, are we going to be ambushed on our way back then?"
"Our chances are not low, so we will have to take precautions. He may also follow us to North City to assure we can't run, or he is doing something not related to us. But I am not that naive."
Jenifer asked me.
"Mr Lee, do you want me to send Fire Birds to deal with him?"
"No, he is still under the game rule till the tournament ends, even if he was defeated. But please do send men to secure the perimeter of his location so he cant run if he moves."
"Yes Mr Lee I will call the Leader about this."
Jenifer makes me feel funny when she is so businesslike with me, sigh. Then Mei, seeing me in the mirror, joins in.
"Master Lee, your maid is in awe of your foresight."
No, if I did not know she was playing the airhead-maid trope, I would swat the top of her head for teasing me so much.

Another almost 2 hours and our 200 mile journey is coming to an end, so I wake sleeping beauty from my lap. I rubbed the side of her face and saw her eyes half-open in alert, then as soon as she noticed where she was she put on her charming smile and looked up into my eyes.
"Bodyguard Lee, you were a very naughty boy in my dreams! You won the tournament and then you married me, then you forced yourself on this young miss, Ufufu."
I see, she was startled because she woke up feeling violated but remembered the closet, now she is teasing me for it. Well two can play the teasing game.
"Sorry Tina, but that was just a fantasy, I only make love to the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with, so try to make me fall for you then, ha-ha!"
I was rewarded with a genuine smile from her lips. I can tell she is actually happy and not pretending, so I know I am in her heart.
As we see the city lights of North City, I explain what I found out about Ronald Di's movements. He still hasn't left that small town even as of now, and he is making purchases while our Fire Birds have eyes on him.

North City is about half the size of Star City and is run heavily by some Long side branch members, well the more reasonable ones compared to the Head.
This City is known for its heavy mining of precious metals and precious stones. This North City is not a coastal metropolis like Star City, but is next to a massive inland lake.
They have a domestic airport, and a massive train-system that spreads to all parts of Eurasia in order to ship the raw-minerals mined from the northern mountains in the Azure State.
And somewhere hidden in these mountains lies the Mountain Temple from which the Monk hailed from. I know its general location based on Monk sightings over the years, but I have no current interest in hunting down a bitch in the rocky-hills.

We are currently driving through the city center to go into the Downtown area where the Club Di is located. This is the current headquarters for Fire Birds activities in North City.
Jenifer, not knowing of Mei Xia's skills or our preparations, is pointing the directions out to her for where the convoy is headed. Then we see our destination.
Club Di is in a large four story building with blacked-out windows and a purple but classy coloration. The true office is on the top two floors while the bottom two floors are a massive dance-club with two levels, while the second level is overlooking the bottom one.
Our five vehicles park in the street level and do not enter the underground parking for security reasons.
Mei Xia is staying behind in the hummer for 'reasons', but officially it is to rest from driving.
I did forget to mention what Mei bought for us in the black-market, right?
I wear a pair of transition wrap-around sunglasses that have flash-protection and a built-in micro-camera for Mei to see what I see on her laptop.
She and I also have a choker of different makes. Hers is a black-collar with white-lace edges, one a maid would look normal wearing, while mine is a plain black-cloth strip that is hidden by my Kung-Fu outfits high-collar.
In reality the neck decorations are microphones to transmit voices to one another. We also have near invisible earpieces in our left-ears and only the closest examinations will reveal them. But both Xia and I have long enough hair to cover them.

Seven of our personnel accompany me and the two women into the front doors of this loud club. Two of the seven are auditors while the remaining five are hit-men. One of which is acting as Jenifer's bodyguard.
A voluptuous woman in a sinful dress comes to greet us and goes straight to Tina recognizing her face.
"Vice-leader Feng, it is good to see you! I am the sub-leader of this branch and my leader is up in the office awaiting your group."
Tina is already on alert as well as the rest of us due to the fact, the leader was not the one to greet us. Then my earpiece is heard in my ear.
[Rick, this is an ambush on your life. Another Monk from the Mountain Temple has forced the manager to let him wait for you in his office.]
"What is he doing in the office right now?"
[He is sitting at the desk watching you as we speak from the security camera to make sure you don't run. I can patch it into your wrist smartphone but he will see that and be alert.]
"Can you get a sniper shot from you to him?"
[Negative, the windows are darkened and the curtains are drawn.]
At this point Tina hears me talking to someone but she can only assume it is Mei. We have just entered the elevator so I keep my voice down.
"Can you confirm if he is hostile?"
[Affirmative, the tape clearly has him telling the leader that he is not here for Tina but to kill you. Also, it seems the leader has helped the Monk and can be considered your enemy as well.]
"Okay send me the live video inside the office and I will look when I get there"

"An assassin from Mountain Temple is waiting for me in there, and your leader is helping, I have to kill everyone in there, stay out."
Tina's happy smile is gone and her killer's face is on. She is not a stranger to assassinations on hers or others lives, so she doesn't crumple at my words.
As we near the door Tina says to the two guards on each side.
"Resist me and you die, men restrain those two men. Go dear."
I look at the watch on my left wrist to find the monks and other mens locations as I pull a small canister from my hip and pull the pin.
Opening the office door a couple of inches I dropped the canister and closed the door quickly. While I do this...
Swoosh Swoosh... BANG! I drew both of my Taurus Judge's (Assassin's Affection's), and from the bottom of the door a bright-light was seen along with a loud bang from the flash-bang grenade going off. Then I kicked the door in that I had not fully closed!
I then forward roll into the room dodging two thrown daggers from the Monk who had enough skill to partially shield his eyes. Fortunately he had not seen me look at my watch due to him getting up to stand in the center of the office where he could freely move after trying to trick me into lowering my guard, stupid of course.
"Young friend, don't fight amitabha! I come in peace!"
What fucking crap is the Master smoking to try and trick me with that when he tried to just now screw me?
Guessing this monk has never seen this handgun shoot shotgun shells, I aimed to his left and right arms. No matter if he dodges left or right one of my shells will squarely hit him due to the spread.
BANG BANG BANG BANG! Swish Swish! As I double tapped my two revolvers, from behind me, Tina threw two of her knives into the necks of the bodyguards of the leader, who was starting to aim their guns towards me.
Instead of shooting they held their bleeding-necks, a fruitless task. Naturally, like a death reaper, Tina charged the two men to finish-them.
With my double tap the not so lucky monk fell victim to lack of modern knowledge. He was smart to dive forward in my direction to avoid the normal bullets he thought they were, but my second two shots went for the center, and his roll scored him a shot in his back with the other shot hitting his right arm.
He will die from that back injury for sure, but through sheer force of will, he tries for one last kick to my neck before he drops from pain and blood-loss.
Thud! BANG! BANG! Gun-Fu Master kicks in! Using my left-shoulder to deflect his kick to the side, my right revolver is a couple of feet from his now missing face, while my left gun targeted the leader from under my right-arm and filled his face full of large buckshot, ending his job as the leader in the Fire Birds. Then I say.
"Bunny, anything else?"
[You destroyed the camera in the office so I can't see, but nothing but some security is heading that way.]
I look over to Tina who is pulling her knives she took out of their necks and sliced them more to end them, some blood is covering her face.
It is oddly alluring to see how her gold-eyes seem to almost reflect light and the crimson blood matches her ponytail hair color. She looks at me and I say to Jenifer outside.
"Jenifer, security is coming, handle it! Tina dear, are you hurt?"
I pulled out a white handkerchief and wiped off most of the blood I could, then she smiled asking me instead.
"No, are you okay?"
She also pulled out one and wiped my face? Oh so some splattered from when I shot the monks face off.
"I will have a small bruise on my left shoulder from parrying his kick, but that's it."
The two of us tossed the handkerchiefs, and we handled the aftermath, fortunately the club was so loud none of the bar goers even noticed that six shotgun shells were shot off.

Naturally the audit is now postponed and the woman that led us up was put in charge, due to her not being in on the plot. She however knows not to go against me and Tina first hand.
So after a shower and change, we were on the road to head back to Star city and a possible ambush.

Just north about one hour from North City, the local news and a few eye-witnesses spotted around 7 massive explosions and small mushroom-clouds, from the same area as two months ago... (MOAB bunker-busters not A-Bombs)

After about two hours of driving we entered a gas-station and I called for a tactical meeting to warn the drivers while collecting all of their cellphones.
I don't want the enemy to be warned. Fortunately not one member hesitated to hand over their phones. Then I asked one question before we left to go home.
"Who here is the craziest baddest mother-fucker here?"
Well apparently we had to do a round of rock, paper, scissors to find out from the three most stubborn dudes!
Then we all climbed into our designated SUVs and were off! In my SUV however, I am now driving while Mei is holding the fully assembled Barrett Sniper Rifle for 'me'.

Ding! I smile as we hit the one mile notification mark and Tina speaks into the radio.
"Less than a mile till an ambush, so back away from my Hummer!"
Up ahead the nighttime-construction crew is working, and they are now slowing traffic and letting groups of cars go by due to the lanes being narrowed to one on the far-right on the right-rail.
The hummer now has two empty car distance spaces from our front two SUVs and our back two.
Then from our groups left-side on the inside lanes where work is happening, a dump-truck full of rocks speeds into Tina's Hummer blowing it and pinning it into the guardrail so the doors cannot open!
