Chapter 82 Rick Lee-Tang! by Harem-Fan
Okay, before I get back to my family dinner, let me explain something to my first Earth self. What is up with my name Rick Lee-Tang?!
Over the last 30000 years situations like mine have not been uncommon, so the four great families and 17 sub-families under them with the Lee added in this level, have special rules to help with legal issues, that is the special exemptions for main family branch members. The use of the added name with a Hyphen.
So naturally there are limitations of its use so let's list the simple ones... First you must be blood related and from a main branch member, this alone limits who can use it. This tends to help bastards from the main family that get legitimized as older children or adults.
Current examples can or will include... Me, the son of the first Tang miss Sally Tang. Another example is if Ashley Hue was brought into the Main Branch, she would be Ashley Hue-Long. And for the second level of the family under the big four, the Song, so Scott will take his mother's Song name and be, Scott Tang-Song.
Now do I go around saying... Hey, I am Rick Lee-Tang every time I meet others? No, I can use both last names together or separately, legally. But if I get removed from the Tang like Scott, then I cannot legally use the Tang last name.
So what happens to me when I marry Tina? good question, and the answer is also easy. The only name I can change is my Lee last name through marriage, so I can only be Feng-Tang and never use my Lee name again, but I won't. Even if I marry someone like Tina and Linda, I can only take one of their names or keep mine.
So why all this nonsense over the Tang name added to mine? It is all about the children of the clan. My Tang name can be passed to my kids, so when Mary and Hana give birth, my children with them can be Tang or Lee but not both.
This is why this name rule is so damn important, it is to keep clans from going into extinction, like the Lee clan almost faced 2000 years ago. The Lee of today came from the Li main clan and we are all technically bastard children of the first Yellow Emperor. Phew!
Why are all of these random thoughts jumbling around in my head you ask? It is because right now Anthony is explaining all of the noble knowledge to my two wives and teaching them why joining the clan is good for my children.

"If you want to do this, the two of us will back you and even name our children Tang for the clan."
Anthony in his heart felt really good about Mary and Hana supporting me for this. Then it hit me!
"Uncle, when I marry Tina Feng, she is keeping her last name and forming a side branch for the Fire Birds, so how will this complicate things?"
If Anthony heard any other man just boldly say I would win and marry her already, he would laugh at them, but he smiles and says.
"It won't hurt anything on the surface, in fact will make our bond to the Feng even stronger. She and her children will always be Feng even if you're the father. Mary asks Anthony.
"Now what will happen with Linda Lang with Scott gone and Rick taking his spot effectively?"

"This unfortunately is the slap I must endure publicly. Though their engagement was not officially announced, it was privately known for some years. Scott and Linda were to have a political connection to strengthen the Tang and Lang like how Rick will with Tina."
Mary then asks another interconnecting question.
"Then would you have Rick marry Linda in that case? And what if Linda wants that marriage?"
"Sigh, In a perfect world I would say if the kids like each-other then let the wedding plans happen, but..."
He crossed his arms and explained.
"George Lang is a complicated and proud man. He may be insulted that Scott is not in the position as fiance anymore and thus my loss of face breaking the first agreement. If I just say, hey I have my new nephew here ready to marry your daughter instead of my son I promised you for years, he may just be more offended than letting it fall apart. So this all is in Lang's court."
He looks to Mary and tells her another less great idea.
"He may even slap me in the face by still marrying his daughter to Scott who will more than likely join the Song clan who is a subordinate clan to the Tang. He can still save his own reputation and stick it to me. Now you see why noble politics are so disgusting, right?"
Hana then follows up with her thoughts.
"And now that Rick will be a Tang, if Linda left her family to stay with Rick, then conflict between the Lang and Tang could happen, right."
He smiles at the blonde-trophy-wife and confirms.
"And for the Tang, that is the worst outcome for the two families to be at odds. Would it be bloodshed? No, certainly not, but our two businesses would definitely clash openly."
I just have a defeated smile thinking how me telling her not to leave her clan was the right move unknowingly.
"But you lovely ladies are missing the big picture... I will not force Helen or Rick to marry anyone they do not want to. This may bite me later, but I want to be better than my father was."
Helen smiled and patted her fathers arm in appreciation. She actually has a couple of possible men to consider but at least she gets to choose them.
A maid walked in and announced the dinner was ready and broke this gloomy mood. But pregnant women are even more dangerous if not fed well!

About halfway into the meal my uncle tells me.
"I will have a bodyguard-maid follow the twins for you since I do not know what the Song are up to with Scott's ego crushed. Debby is a cruel backstabber and I take their security seriously, Rick."
I nodded because that went through my mind as well. Then he continued his explanations of our process.
"After University tomorrow, take the twins to the life statistics office and marry them quickly. Their divorce will already be filed first thing in the morning. The girl's father is a bit of a stickler and might cause issues if they were caught unmarried for long. Sorry to rush you, but we want to protect the girls and your children."
Both Nadia and Nichole, hearing his words, looked very surprised and happy, and in their minds they are picking white-dresses that will look good in school. I answer.
"That is no problem, I want to marry them but what about my Tang status?"
Anthony for the first time looks ashamed and both Helen and I look at him and he admits.
"Cough, Actually, I had faith you would accept and already added you this morning, and at midnight the life statistics and all the four families will know of you and Scott's changes in nobility, sorry."

The whole table toasted to his formal words, then the casual mood came as we finished our meal. The sun was soon setting and before we are to leave, my uncle told us some news.
"Rick and wives, let me tell you a few things before we all separate for the night... First, I welcome you all to live on the compound, but I know you are all new to this and like where you are living. So I will keep the twins' villa behind this house open at all times for your family's use. The twins after marrying you tomorrow can move in with you and thus they will not live in the villa any longer."
The twins are both very happy and confused at this point but we keep listening.
"Rick in exchange for giving you a trust-fund, I know your needs for space and many children, have used your accumulated 18 years of what the Tang owes you and your mother, and purchased the lot number 5 home next to your current lot 7 home in the Garden Estates. It is now being fully furnished and will be ready for you to live in on Friday with a small amount of staff and the twins' maid-bodyguard."
All but Helen are surprised, including me as he hands me an envelope containing papers and keys for the home. He continues.
"Mei Xia here are the keys for the limo you came in, you have driven it before so it will not be a problem for you. So Rick the car is also included, and when you attend formal clan affairs use it to show your status. If you're alone then drive whatever, but your family is growing so take it."
I feel like everything that Mary and I did not have has finally come to us and I hold in my words of thanks and just give my uncle a man-hug to show my gratitude. We both looked awkward doing it too. I was told by Helen later that he never even hugged Scott so her father looked funny.
Mei with a smile said to us.
"Young Master, I will bring the car around shortly, excuse me."
While the ladies congregated and talked about after University tomorrow, my uncle asked quietly.
"I take it your trust in Mei means I can trust her with you?"
I just smile at this poor guy dealing with all of Scott's old issues and he is uncertain.
"She is very trusted by me, and not like a lover, but a reliable maid and teacher."
"I guessed if the Central Government trusted her around you with your special status, so then I am assured and won't dig into her past then."

Seeing my defeated look because of the twins and Mei, Anthony said.
"But this strange setup you have is good camouflage to hide you from foes, so just embrace it. Now go and sleep on everything. I know you are probably a bit overwhelmed with all that has happened in the last 24 hours. Your mental health is just as important as physical health. Sally and your father, if they knew, would be very proud of you, so I will take their place and help you grow."
The twins then came to me and took my hands to the front-doors, after I was done talking to uncle Tang.
Nichole, seeing no one of importance was looking, just wrapped her arms around my neck and deeply kissed me.
Nadia was behind me rubbing my back waiting for her turn with a grin.
Nichole with wet eyes said to me.
"We have come a long way Mr Blackmailer, and I think letting you take advantage of us was my blessing. I truly love you and cannot wait for tomorrow. Now don't break my heart, get me?"
"You got it, Mrs Blackmailer."
I was then roughly turned and kissed by the impatient Nadia, who really wanted to kill me by sucking all the air out of my lungs.
And the fuck?! She is wrapping her right-leg around my leg and rubbing her hips inappropriately while breathing heavily!
Nichole seeing her sister go into a frenzy pulled her off me as people were coming and held her back, then said.
"Calm down sister, wait till after University, he can't escape then, okay?"
Wow the pregnant hormones are really making my Nadia a bit nuts, but soon she relaxed and said.
"Ricky, tomorrow night don't leave my bed alright, I need my first night. Sorry, I am really needing my man now, Ufufu."
I stroke her hair out of her eyes and tell them.
"Promise, my two new wives can monopolize me all night."
Then Helen, Mary , and Hana came to us as Mei brought the limo to pick us up.
"Cousin Rick, I will also come to witness your wedding, so don't leave University without me."
"Thanks Helen, then take care of my girls for me till tomorrow, thanks."
As Helen gave me a hug goodbye, Mei opened the back of the white-Lincoln-limo.
Mary, Hana, and I sat in the back seat together as Mei started to pull-off. Hana started to laugh seeing Nadia waving and crying like she will never see me again and Nichole had her hand on her forehead looking at her idiot sister. Helen just looked at both sisters, seeing a side of them she never knew.

"I slept on an old couch for four years while Mary and I made my way through high-school. and this back seat is so much more comfortable than that. To think how far our lives have improved since then. Thanks for supporting me, Mary and Hana. I will keep becoming a better man, well until I get overwhelmed by babies! Then I might panic a little."
As Mei pulled us into the Garden Estates, Mary said to Mei.
"Thanks Mei, you can consider your 30 day trial complete and we want you to stay with Rick. So keep him safe."
Mei looked at Mary with her brown-eyes from the front of the limo and said.
"Thanks, I feel like I am taking care of a little brother now. Oh look there is Lot 5 lit up tonight!"
While the rest of us looked more closely at the abnormally large home, Mary only smiled at Mei's words and muttered.
"And that's how it happened to me, sigh."
She then turned her head to join us as we slowly looked at the massive 4 level home with two wings and the common white outer design common to all Garden Estate homes.
It has a massive car turnaround and gives an old elegant look rather than the normal modern outer appearance. But the paperwork assures despite its exterior look, the whole interior is very new and modern.
This home is almost twice as big as Linda's home on lot 9.
Mary gulped and said for us all.
"Friday, this will be our new Tang home."

"Well we need it now with Nadia and Nichole joining us. Those two will need an entire floor on one wing for sure, Ufufu."
