"I can't believe they didn't let me bring my Impreza WRX." Harriet says
"All though it has its rally pedigree that doesn't make it an off road vehicle. Not to mention it probably wouldn't stand up to the types of battles we shall see." A woman says
"It has a titanium alloy body it's mixed with a few other metals from our world. A tank shell could probably dent it." Luna says
"Hi I'm Harriet, and this is my girlfriend Luna. What's your name." Harriet says
"I am Mari Kurosawa. A combat medic." Mari introduces herself.(I'm not gonna try and do proper Japanese naming and call them by last name and such.)
"And you're a car person." Harriet says excitedly.
"I have spent some nights at the mountain pass." Mari admits
"Right so I think we have enough hunters to get one or two per recon team. That and the Americans and Japanese will put teams together to promote cooperation." Harriet says
Luna nods aswell.
"I heard the Americans are brining Hueys." Itami says from the passenger seat.
"Ah, you can't have a Huey without having fortunate son ready to play." Harriet says while the 2 Americans in the cart look Harriet.
"What?" Harriet asks
"Would you rather play paint it black." Luna asks
"Yep that's a good one Luna. I just can't wait till the vertibirds can come." Harriet says
"You mean you got working vertibirds?" One of the American soldiers asks
"Yeah we also have F4U coursairs that can break the sound barrier. Mom was really proud of making those. Our alternate fuel sources produce a lot of power." Harriet says
"Don't forget it's an fully electronic ċȯċkpit with a flyby wire system. Whatever that means", Luna says.
"Yep our coursairs can compete with any 3rd generation fighter jet. That and we also produce 2 diffrent 5th generation fighter jets since as momma Kyra said the F-35 has abysmal air to air capabilities compared to other 5th gen fighters America would be bette upgrading the F-16 for a multi-roll." Harriet says
"How do you know so much about the United States and it's capabilities." The second American soldier asks
"Momma Kyra is a history buff her orginal earth was in the late 21st century when she left."
Harriet says choosing words very carefully
"Do you know her birth place?" A soldier asks
"She hasn't told us." Harriet says
"The land of flowers." Luna says with a smile point at her eyes to Harriet.

"Right I am James. I also happen to be from that state." James says with a smile
"I'm Huston from Texas." Huston says introducing himself.
"Come on give them your real name." James says
"Fine I'm actually Remington but everyone calls me Huston." Huston says
"You're named after the trench gun?" Luna asks
James laughs at that question while the Japanese appear confused.
"It's a WW1 joke. They Germans wanted the shot gun banned because it was to inhumane to use. It's funny because it was the Germans who first started using toxic gas. Saying a gun the Americans used to hunt was to in humane." Harriet explains as the armored car bumps.
"Guess we are here." Luna says looking up.
"You feel it too?" Harriet asks
"Yep." Luna says
"You wanna do the honors?" Harriet asks
Luna materializes the staff and taps the floor of the armored car to the puzzlement of everyone.
"A whole new world and we had some beings looking at us." Harriet says with a smile.
"Can all hunters do that?" The other girl
"Maybe detect the people watching but they would need a special semblance to stop them." Harriet says and Luna nods.
"What's yours name?" Luna asks
"I am Shino Kuribayshi." Shino introduces herself.
"Wait a minute... why can I understand and speak Japanese?" James asks
"It's a gift momma Kyra gave all the US soldiers coming with." Harriet says
"It seems we are gonna see battle soon." Itami says seeing the torches in the distance.
