Chapter 177 Date With Mom Part 5

[: Daniel POV :]

As we stepped into the alluring City of Light, I felt as if I had stepped into a dream.

All around me shimmered an array of prismatic crystals that seemed to possess their own secret language of colours.

Everywhere I looked there were people, residents and players alike, completely enamoured with the beauty surrounding them.

My mom grabbed my hand tightly and pointed out towards the radiance emerging from the crystals.

"Isn't it beautiful dear?"

She murmured in awe, her eyes glistening with delight.

I smiled back at her and took in the sheer splendour that lit up my face like no other.

As the sun began its descent towards the horizon, my mother's features seemed to glow in an ethereal light.

The luminescent crystal pillars that hugged her form cast a soft and enchanting aura around her.

Her revealing garments only added to the image of angelic beauty that danced before my eyes.

And her smile... oh, how it lit up the world like a thousand stars flickering in the night sky.

"Mom," I said softly, entranced by the scene before me, "you look absolutely stunning."

My mother's smile widened, and she leaned in to kiss my forehead.

"Thank you, dear. You look pretty handsome yourself," she replied.

As she took my hand again, I felt a sudden pull towards her. It was as if a magnetic force had drawn us together, and I felt a shiver of excitement run down my spine.

As we walked further into the city, the streets became increasingly crowded.

People of all shapes and sizes bustled around us, some laughing and chatting, while others were lost in their own thoughts.

Soon, we came across a group of players gathered around a street performer.

He was juggling crystal balls, and the crowd was enthralled by his skill.

My mother and I joined the group and watched as the performer expertly tossed the crystal balls into the air, catching them with ease.

As the crowd cheered, the performer turned to us and smiled.

"Would you like to give it a try?" he asked, holding out one of the crystal balls to me.

Without hesitation, I took the crystal ball from his hand, feeling the smooth surface of the crystal against my skin.

As I tossed it into the air, I felt a surge of excitement and adrenaline rush through me.

The crystal ball soared through the air, catching the light like a shooting star.

I caught it with ease, feeling a sense of accomplishment wash over me.

The performer smiled at me, nodding his approval.

"You've got some talent there, young man," he said, clapping me on the back.

''That was a nice one dear''

My mother beamed with pride, and I felt a sense of joy wash over me. nOvELB1n

As the night went on, my mother and I continued to explore the City of Light.

At that moment, I realized that this was what it meant to truly live.

To let go of all your inhibitions and just be present in the moment.

The music continued to fill my ears, the dancers swirled around us in a blur of colours and movement, and I felt alive.

But as the night wore on, the crowds began to thin out and the musicians packed up their instruments.

My mother and I found ourselves alone in the alleyway, the only sound the echo of our footsteps on the cobblestone.

We walked hand in hand, taking in the beauty of the moonlit city.

Suddenly, my mother pulled me into a small doorway and whispered, "I have a surprise for you."

She led me up a narrow staircase that opened onto a rooftop terrace.

The view from the top was breathtaking, the Crystals Pillars of light lit up in the distance.

But as I turned to thank my mother, I saw that she had a mischievous glint in her eye.

"I have one more surprise for you," she said, pulling a small vial out of her pocket.

"It's a potion that will make you see things in a whole new way."

I raised an eyebrow in curiosity as she handed me the vial.

Without hesitation, I opened it and drank the potion in one gulp.

Immediately, my vision blurred and my senses heightened. The colours of the city became more vibrant and the sounds more intense.

I felt a rush of energy that coursed through my veins, and a feeling of euphoria that I couldn't explain.

My mother smiled at me, knowing that I had experienced something new and exciting.

"Let's dance," she said, pulling me into her arms.

As we danced on the rooftop terrace, the city around us came to life in a whole new way.

The lights of the Tower sparkled like diamonds, and the streets below us were alive with energy and there was music being played.

It was a moment of pure bliss, a moment that I would never forget.

But as the night went on, the effects of the potion began to wear off.

My vision returned to normal, and the colours and sounds of the city dulled.

I felt a pang of disappointment, wishing that the feeling would last forever.

My mother must have sensed my disappointment because she took me by the hand and led me to a small corner of the terrace.

"Close your eyes," she whispered. "Trust me."

I did as she asked, and suddenly felt her lips on mine.

It was a soft, tender kiss that filled me with warmth and comfort.

At that moment, I knew that even without the potion, I could still feel that same sense of joy and freedom.

It was simply a matter of being present at the moment and experiencing all that life had to offer.

As my mother pulled away from the kiss, I opened my eyes and looked at her in awe.

Without a word, she pulled me back into her arms and kissed me again, this time with more passion.

I let myself go, letting her take the lead as she explored my mouth with her tongue.

My body responded to her touch, and I felt a tingle that ran down my spine.

We pulled away from each other, both breathless and wanting more.
