Chapter 80: early morning zombie tide with 10,000 zombies
Well they cannot see the sun but they can see the red sky under the cloud cover during the daybreak time.
The guard on duty noticed this and immediately made the sound to notify other people.
Well the sound is as lower as possible.
Under the bloody red sky the appearance of 10 thousand zombie’s appearance caused the people to panic on the spot.
Their panic and commotion attracted the zombies straight to them.
Vicky sighed as the worst situation appeared.
Fortunately their vehicles are already ready.
Vicky did not greed over the monster cores in the zombie instead he ordered the soldiers to create a big sound at the huge fissure in the middle of the base.
The sounding devices are already prepared in advance with the remaining materials and they are connected a car battery for power source in this cold time.
The soldiers immediately calmed the people and called them all to come to the side where they can defend them.
As the people escaped to safety Vicky stood on a high building with snipers and pointed at the zombies that he thinks as tier 2 zombies that are currently leading the tide.
There are only few of them and they can be taken care off immediately.
As the zombies got close the snipers shot at the tier 2 zombies while the other people started the sounding device hanging in the earth fissure.
The tier 0 zombies all followed the sound to fell into the deep earth fissure.
But it also attracted more zombies.
The snipers were pointed by Vicky to shoot at the tier 2 zombies first and then at tier 1, zombies.
The crisis averted but not completely.
It was only cleared temporarily.
Vicky called the higher level people to move away from here immediately.
Well they can move but the normal citizen cannot move right now.
Even with all the vehicles only half of them can move from here quickly.
If they moved slowly then there is a chance that they would attract a large number of zombies that would attack them.
This kind of things Vicky did not have a solution.
Vicky sighed and suggested that the main officials with quarter of the people mostly army personal and power users would leave first leaving the remaining vehicles here.
This way the main people would be able to escape and the remaining people would use them as they please to follow.
In the army group Vicky went to them and gave them a special route map.
They are to take the remaining people by foot while the remaining vehicles will be occupied by old people.
Big group and slow moving people would usually become the target of the attack.
The zombie animals or mutated animals have not appeared during this time.
But they are already there and waiting silently for their prey.
With the suggestion the army was divided into groups and they were distributed with rations and other things.
They were told to move out first by foot.
The civilians thought that they are being cared as they got rations and armed personal protecting them.
But they don’t know that they are one of the baits just in case.
When the civilians are gone, Vicky organized a convoy with the families of big people, country leaders, power users, army personal….
They also moved out and went straight along with the predetermined path.
The civilians questioned about the group going by the convoy the military personal that is directing them said with a stern face.
They are going in the front to clear of the problems ahead on the road for the people that are walking.
Well no one believes their words because anyone can see that they are the bait.
But in these apocalyptic times they can only trust the world of the one protecting them.
In the next few days the people in the convoy are mostly travelling and barely stopping for food or other things.
After 3 days they finally reached the northern base at Delhi.
But they did not enter that place stupidly because there are dangers everywhere.
First a scouting party was sent to check the situation at the main base at Delhi.
The returning party told that the base was empty.
This means that they moved on to a different place.
Another scouting party was sent to find the direction in which the big group is gone.
Well Vicky already knows that they made a temporary base on the other side of the city towards north near the river after the last monster tide attack.
The monster tides here are much smaller compared to the monster tides that Sakura faced in her past life.
After searching for a while the scouting party informed Vicky’s group that they should be on the other side of the city.
So they moved on to that place and regrouped with the head quarters.
The number of people here are no less than the group that Vicky brought.
But one must understand that Vicky’s group is so big because they were able to resist many things thanks to Vicky’s foresight.
On the other hand many people died at the main base which is devastating.
Even after that they still have so many people.
Well the surviving people are both lucky and unlucky at the same time.
