Alton immediately flew his broomstick toward the building’s window beside him, penetrated and shattered it, and entered this office building’s second floor, which was dim and quiet because the office was already closed. Alton got off his broomstick steadily and took it in his left hand as he thought.

“Damn, I can’t get caught here.”

Alton watched his surroundings warily.

Alton found himself in a room where there are stairs were going down and up on a wide corridor that connected office rooms, meeting rooms, etc. Alton’s attention was drawn to the stairs going down with a glossy brown wooden railing that was beautifully carved. After going down the stairs attached to the wall, Alton arrived in the guest hall with an empty front desk below the stairs. Alton ran to this building’s entrance, which had three beautifully carved wooden double doors, and was about to open one of them, but he stopped when he found the entrance door before him being opened.

Back to sometime before. Daganzo, who was riding his flying broomstick, chased Alton, who was also riding his flying broomstick quite far before him. The single earphone communication device in Daganzo’s left ear sounded, and he got a call from one of his comrades.

“We will trap him; wait for our signal.”

Daganzo replied.

“Okay, I understand.”

Daganzo continued to follow Alton from behind and watched him carefully. Daganzo discovered that his three comrades had succeeded in trapping Alton, surprising Daganzo. Not long after, one of Daganzo’s comrades said through the single earphone in his left ear.

“We managed to trap him; you intercept him from below; we will monitor the building from above.”

Daganzo replied.

“I understand; thanks for your help.”

Daganzo and his comrade then ended their respective calls.

Daganzo immediately took out his pocket watch from his overcoat's inner pocket, opened it, and used it to monitor Alton's whereabouts and realized that Alton had entered one of the buildings. Daganzo immediately flew low and got off his flying broomstick, then walked toward the building while carrying the broomstick in his left hand and his pocket watch in his right hand. Daganzo ran while following the direction indicated by the magic circle that resembled clock hands that appeared on his pocket watch, which was now pointing towards one of the buildings on the side of the road. Daganzo ran towards the building's entrance. While running, Daganzo realized that the hands of his pocket watch magic circle were spinning around, making Daganzo surprised.

“What with this pocket watch?”

Daganzo closed the pocket watch and then put it in the inner pocket of his overcoat.

Daganzo had already memorized which building his pocket watch was pointing to and arrived in front of three glossy wooden double doors in a modern classic-style office building with beautiful carvings decorating the building. Daganzo tried to open one of the double doors, which turned out to be locked. Daganzo drew his sword from its scabbard, then pointed the tip of his sword towards the door.

“Unlock.”

Immediately after, the sound of the door lock opening was heard. Daganzo opened the door before him and walked in. Daganzo found no one before him, as far as his eyes could see. Only a wide, empty guest hall with a corridor on the right and left, several single doors, and stairs attached to the wall on the right with an empty, long, wooden carved front desk bellow it. Daganzo looked around him in astonishment. Daganzo said through the single earphone connection in his left ear.

“I don’t see any visibility of the target; for some reason, my outer dimension presence detection device isn’t working.”

The three Daganzo comrades immediately checked their pocket watches, which also didn’t work properly, and told each other about it. Daganzo was surprised.

“Did that boy use some kind of magic that made the detection device not work?”

One of Daganzo’s comrades answered.

“If there was such a thing, why did he not use it in the first place?”

Daganzo also realized this possibility; his expression then changed to astonishment. Daganzo took out his pocket watch from his overcoat's inner pocket and then opened it. The hands of his pocket watch magic circle were still spinning around.

“That’s true... but the magic circle on our pocket watch hasn’t disappeared, meaning that boy is still around here. You guys watch this building from the outside and report immediately if you see the boy’s movements.”

One of Daganzo’s comrades replied via a single earphone on his left ear.

“Understood.”

Daganzo inspected this office building while watching his pocket watch magic circle, which was spinning around, as he thought.

“It would be difficult to find him if we didn’t have a detection device.”

Daganzo continued checking this building. Daganzo went around this building but could not find Alton.

“Damn, it’s going to be hard if we have to look for him like this.”

Soon, the hands on the pocket watch magic circle on his right hand started to stop spinning, and the magic circle floating above it also disappeared, surprising Daganzo. Daganzo thought.

“Why did the magic circle suddenly disappear? This device will react when it detects the presence of a wizard who is not from this world within a certain distance. If this device does not react, then that existence has disappeared.”

Daganzo immediately contacted his three comrades via a single earphone connection in his left ear.

“My detection device suddenly went off; what about you guys?”

One of Daganzo’s comrades guarding outside the building while riding his flying broomstick replied.

“Ours didn’t react either.”

Daganzo was surprised.

“There’s no mistake; it means that he is beyond the reach of our detection devices. Didn’t you guys see that boy come out of the building?”

Daganzo’s comrades replied.

“No, we didn’t see his movement from here.”

Daganzo’s expression turned astonished as he thought.

“Damn, where exactly is he going?”

Daganzo said.

“I want one person watching this building, me and the others split up and search for him in a parameter centered on this building.”

Daganzo ended the call, then hurried away from here and exited the building.

Go back to some time before. A woman in her 20s with long hair, but it is pinned back with a hairpin so it looks like she has short hair, wearing a black ankle-length cloak covering her whole body, with a high collar up to her chin level and a hood that covered the back of her head to the top of her head. On all parts of this cloak up to the collar part and hood part, there is a thin but very strong black pearl armor, which is formed in such a way and joined by joints that can be widened and narrowed to follow the movement of this cloak so that it won’t be stiff. On the right front of the cloak collar is a black belt to close the front of the cloak, to make it easier to open the cloak on the body part of this woman. On the shoulders and upper arms, part of the cloak has additional protective armor with solid carvings, which at all the joints of this additional protective armor can extend in such a way as to follow the cloak’s movement.

Beneath her armored cloak, this woman wears a blue short-sleeved shirt with the top button open, black gloves, a brown belt, black trousers, and black boots. On her waist, there is a black baldric that supports a handgun that resembles a revolver but does not have a bullet roller, with the gun barrel length being as long as an adult man’s forearm in general, grayish silver in color, black gun holster, black handle, and smooth glossy gray carved patterns on the handgun body. This woman is Furano Nihonmatsu, one of the Gunslinger Wizards and a member of the Black Cloak Organization (Note: Please read the Novel G.O.DS, S.E.A, and TITAN to learn more about the Black Cloak Organization).

Furano walked on a quiet pedestrian road in the middle of the city. Along the pedestrian road, several short stairs go down at regular distances from each other, following the lowering surface of this road from the highest surface to the lowest surface, with lampposts in the middle that are lined at regular distances. On the right and left along this pedestrian road are various kinds of modern classic-style buildings most of which have closed, and rows of long benches at regular distances.

Furano stopped momentarily, looking at the night sky while slightly lost in thought; she then sat on one of the long benches nearby. Furano pulled her handgun from its holster and looked at it carefully as she thought.

“After a magic gate to another universe opened from the Earth where the Wizard of Existance Sword was located, the Gunslinger Wizard began to observe this place. Those who know about this call this planet “First Earth,” and the Earth where the Wizard of Soul Dagger is located is “Second Earth,” as they call it, as did we when we found out. Unlike the wizard of First Earth, who uses the “Existence Sword,” or the wizard of Second Earth, who uses the “Soul Dagger,” the Gunslinger Wizard uses the “Handgun of Spellcaster.” This handgun helps us use our magic power. All we needed was to say the spell and concentrate properly while holding our handgun. Our handgun will then react, indicating that our handgun has been loaded with the spell we want; we then only need to fire it towards our desired target, significantly increasing our accuracy when aiming the spell. As far as we know, both wizards from the first and second Earth don’t realize that the Earth is also connected to our Earth in another universe. We think the Earth where we live will be called the “Third Earth” if they know our existence.”
