The wizard nodded.

“Understood, sir.”

This wizard then operated the computer before him.

Inside the hangar room on the 55th floor were dozens of ready-made phoenix automatons; the hangar metal exit door then opened fully inwards, showing a night view of the city and the night sky covered in Glass walls magic spell.

Not long after, the defense personnel wizards received a voice message via their smartphone; they then listened to it via a single earphone in their right or left ear.

“Phoenix automatons have an operational distance limit of several hundred meters in perimeter centered on the phoenix leader who serves as the magical energy source carrier to power them. While using the automatons, please pay attention to your distance from the phoenix leader.”

Some of the defense personnel’s expressions in various places throughout the city turned astonished. The voice message continued.

“Phoenix automatons are ready to use. Defense personnel should use them on duties in accordance with the instructions given.”

The defense personnel from various places throughout the city drew their Existence swords from the scabbards attached to the baldrics at their waists. One of the defense personnel swung their sword as he said.

“Come, the phoenix.”

Dozens of other defense personnel also performed this Magic Spell.

In one of the hangars on the 55th floor, dozens of metal phoenix automatons displayed in slots on the partition walls inside the hangar began to react; the gaps from the joints throughout the phoenix’s body then emitted red light that formed patterns. The Phoenix automatons flew out of the hangar. Outside the building, dozens of phoenix automatons flew in various directions toward their masters who had summoned them. The defense personnel spread out in various locations saw a phoenix automaton flying towards each of them, then hovering near them. One of the defense personnel pointed his swords at the Phoenix automaton hovering nearby.

“Search for existence from outside the universe in this city.”

Dozens of other defense personnel also performed similar Magic Spell orders.

The phoenix watched their masters in slight astonishment, then flew away. The defense personnel immediately rode their flying broomsticks, following their phoenix automatons; the phoenix leader watched them and looked confused. The phoenix leader appeared to have realized something because the phoenix automatons began to leave its magical energy transmission range. The phoenix leader flew away from the top of the skyscraper where it was perched, towards where the phoenix automatons were centered.

Back to sometime ago. Daganzo rode his flying broomstick in one part of the city, then landed in one of the quiet alleys between the buildings. The broomstick then hovered near Daganzo in a standing position. Daganzo drew his Existence sword from the scabbard attached to the baldric at his waist. A double edge sword with a silver blade sheathed in a black scabbard, with a blade width that is twice the width of an adult man’s finger, and embossed gray patterns carved all over it, the sword’s blade was as long as an adult’s man arm, a sword guard with sturdy carvings, and the hilt is long enough to be held with both hands. Daganzo pointed his sword at his broomstick.

“Hide, Eagle Feather.”

The broomstick flew towards the top of the building. Daganzo resheathed his sword, then walked out of the alley onto the sidewalk.

Daganzo walked on the quiet sidewalk and arrived at a classic-style two-story building that said “Antique Shop.” Daganzo entered the shop through the wooden single-door entrance with framed glass pane. Inside the shop, various classic items, such as furniture, musical instruments, clothes, etc., were regularly and neatly placed on shelves and display cabinets. A shopkeeper greeted Daganzo in a friendly manner.

“Welcome, may I help you?”

Daganzo smiled.

“I want to look at clothes and some other classic items.”

The shopkeeper’s attention was drawn to the sword at Daganzo’s waist. Daganzo smiled.

“This is just a display sword, like the displays sold here.”

Daganzo pointed to the swords displayed on one sides of the wall in this shop. The shopkeeper smiled.

“Of course, please come in.”

Daganzo walked further into the shop; his attention was drawn to the classic masks displayed on one sides of the shop wall, and he walked over to them.

Daganzo stood before these masks and looked at them with a curious expression; he then took a black metal mask with a shape that resembled the face part of a knight’s helmet and looked at it curiously. Daganzo looked at his surroundings curiously; his attention was then drawn to the shop’s section that displayed various classic-style clothes, with several fitting rooms and a standing mirror. Daganzo looked through these clothes and found a black ankle-length hooded cloak. Daganzo tried this cloak before the mirror momentarily, and the size was right for him.

Daganzo walked to the cashier. The shopkeeper was waiting for Daganzo and greeted him in a friendly manner; Daganzo then paid for the items. The shopkeeper then escorted Daganzo to the front of the shop.

“Thank you. I hope you come back again.”

Daganzo smiled and nodded.

“Of course.”

The shopkeeper turned around and headed into the shop. Daganzo’s expression turned deadpan; he drew his sword from the scabbard at his waist and then pointed it at the shopkeeper.

“Oblivion.”

The shopkeeper was surprised and fell silent when slightly opened the shop entrance. The shopkeeper turned towards Daganzo, but Daganzo was no longer visible. The shopkeeper’s expression turned astonished.

“Was there someone here just now?”

The shopkeeper’s expression turned confused, then walked into the shop.

Daganzo walked between the buildings in one of the alleys, then put on his mask and hooded cloak. Daganzo then pulled the hood part of his cloak over his head. Daganzo appeared to realize something; he stopped his steps and looked up at the night sky covered in Glass Walls magic spells. Several Phoenix automatons flew fast and were followed by several defense personnel as their masters. Daganzo was surprised as he thought.

“The automatons are already released.”

Daganzo drew his sword from the scabbard and swung it forward.

“Come, Eagle Feather.”

Daganzo’s broomstick flew from the top of the building and hovered beside him. Daganzo got on his broomstick and rode it to fly away from here. After Daganzo reached a certain height, he stopped midair, drew his sword from the scabbard, and swung it forward as he said.

“Come, Phoenix automaton.”

Inside the hangar on the 55th floor were dozens of phoenix automatons in statue mode, but one of them had turned into a phoenix. This Phoenix automaton flew out of its slot in the partition walls and then out of the hangar.

Back at Daganzo, he was still hovering on his broomstick in the same place while watching his surroundings vigilantly. Daganzo realized that in various directions in the distance, defense personnel were riding their flying broomsticks as they chased their phoenix automaton flying in search of presence from outside the universe. Daganzo’s expression turned serious.

“I’d better head to the library.”

Daganzo rode his broomstick to fly away from here. While riding his broomstick, Daganzo took out his smartphone from the inner pocket of his overcoat and then contacted Furano.

Inside the library building, Alton was still wearing his cat ears headband, sitting on the carpet while copying the book copy of the Dimensional Magic Book on the short table before him. Furano was still wearing her wolf ears headband and cloak with the hood part open and was sitting on the carpet before Alton, reading a book. Furano occasionally divided her attention towards the view outside the window, only to find that the night sky was still empty of the First Earth wizards’ presence. Alton watched Furano curiously.

“Is there something you’re thinking about?”

Furano turned to Alton; she then smiled.

“I’m just observing the situation outside.”

Alton smiled gently.

“Let’s do our best together.”

Furano smiled and nodded. Alton continued copying the book. Furano continued reading the book. Sometime later, Alton smiled cheerfully.

“Okay, I’ve finished copying this book.”

Furano turned to Alton and watched him curiously.

“May I see that?”

Alton smiled and nodded; he then gave the book copy he made as he returned Furano’s book copy. Furano read Alton’s book copy, which turned out quite well. Furano’s expression turned curious.

“I wonder, can it be used?”

Alton nodded; his expression turned curious.

“Let’s try it.”

Furano nodded and returned Alton’s book copy as she watched Alton curiously. Alton opened his book copy and came to a page with a magic circle. Alton bit one of his fingers, which then dripped blood; he then smeared his blood on the magic circle in this book. Alton waited momentarily, but there was no reaction came from this book. Alton’s expression turned confused.

“Somehow, it doesn’t work....”

Furano’s expression turned curious.

“I wonder what was missed?”

Alton nodded.

“Even though I have copied it by handwritings and drawings according to the instructions.”

Not long after, Furano’s smartphone rang; she took it from the pocket of her trousers and was slightly surprised to find out that Daganzo was calling; she then answered it.

“Yes, Daganzo.”

Daganzo replied as he rode his flying broomstick.

“The Phoenix automatons have been released; you and Alton better be careful. I’m still on my way there.”

Furano was surprised.

“Okay, I understand.”

They then ended the call. Alton watched Furano curiously.

“Bad news?”

Furano nodded.

“The Phoenix automatons have been released; we better be alert.”

Alton was surprised; he then nodded.
