Daganzo looked around curiously and found that Furano and Alton were sitting beside each other. Daganzo appeared to realize something; he then walked away somewhere. Sometime later, Daganzo returned and walked over to Furano and Alton while carrying two canned drinks in his hands. Daganzo stopped before Furano and Alton, immediately drawing their attention.
“How are you two doing?”
Daganzo handed them the canned drinks in his hand; both accepted it happily. Alton smiled.
“It doesn’t matter, I’m not tired.”
Furano turned to Daganzo and smiled.
“I’m fine too.”
Behind his mask, Daganzo smiled; he then nodded. Furano’s expression turned curious.
“What about the preparations?”
Daganzo turned to Furano.
“I was just informed by one of the Researcher Division wizards that they were conducting experiment before we carried out the plan.”
Alton and Furano’s expressions turned curious. Alton appeared to remember something; his expression then turned curious.
“About the plan we are going to carry out, the First wizards created this magic spell to save the Phoenix’s life. If you think about it, what could make such a powerful Phoenix dying?”
Daganzo and Furano also just realized that. Behind his mask, Daganzo’s expression turned doubtful.
“I don’t know either.”
Furano’s expression turned curious.
“Maybe we can ask the Researcher Division?”

“We did some experiments and realized something. The Phoenix uses a fire laser beam to destroy the magic circle, because when active, this Magic Circle is reinforced by magic and cannot be destroyed with ordinary magic.”
Daganzo, Furano, and Alton were slightly surprised. Daganzo appeared to realize something; behind his mask, Daganzo’s expression turned astonished.
“Wouldn’t that increase the chances of the Phoenix using its Fire laser beam? Because only that attack can destroy the magic circle.”
The Researcher leader nodded.
“Therefore, we should prepare for the worst possibility.”
Daganzo, Furano, and Alton’s expressions turned serious; they then nodded.
Sometime later, the preparations for their plan was finished. Several Scout Division wizards stood guard around the huge hole in the floor caused by the Phoenix’s fire laser beam attack. Four Researcher division wizards will hold a huge magic circle drawing on the cloth above the Phoenix. The two teams then will carry out their plans. The Researcher leader and Scout leader rode their flying broomsticks while carrying their Existence swords in one of their hands. They flew into the hangar through the hole in the floor before them. Daganzo, Furano, and Alton walked to the hole’s edge, knelt, and carefully observed the Phoenix inside the hangar.
The gigantic Phoenix leader automaton stood with both its wings and legs, observed its surroundings vigilantly, and prepared to attack. The Researcher and Scout leaders rode their flying broomsticks from above and hovered not too high from the hangar floor. Scout leader concentrated.
“Water Slash.”
Water formed and enveloped the Scout leader’s sword blade; he then slashed it forward. The huge crescent-shaped water shot quickly towards the Phoenix. At almost the same time, the Researcher leader concentrated.
“Ice Slash.”
Frozen ice spread on the Researcher Leader’s sword blade; he then slashed it forward. A huge, crescent-shaped ice shot quickly toward the Phoenix. Both of their magical attacks hit the Phoenix’s back alternately at almost the same time but did not affect it. The Phoenix turned towards them. The Researcher leader’s expression turned serious.
“From here, the real game will begin.”
Scout leader smirked.
“Let’s defeat this Phoenix immediately.”
The Phoenix opened its beak, which then burned ablaze, and a wisp of fire formed; it then shot a huge fireball at the two; they then evaded to the left and right. A huge fireball passed between them and hit the wall, but it didn’t have any effect because the magic circles protected it, and the fireball was extinguished by the magic circles carved on the hangar’s wall.
On the other hand, Daganzo, Furano, and Alton saw that the Phoenix’s attention was diverted to the Researcher leader and Scout leader. The three nodded to each other and got on their broomsticks. They entered the hangar through the wide hole in the floor, followed by four Researcher division wizards, one of whom was carrying a large folded cloth with a magic circle drawn. Inside the hangar, the four Researcher wizards opened this cloth and spread it close to the hangar ceiling; each held one corner of it and adjusted it to the Phoenix’s position so it was under it. Alton, Furano, and Daganzo hovered on their broomsticks high above the surface of the hangar floor; they then opened their notebooks, which contained long incantations to recreate the Phoenix Resurrection Magic Spell. The three started reading these incantations, and every part that had been read glowed. The magic circle drawn on the cloth glowed in some parts, got brighter, and spread out.
On the other hand, the Phoenix, standing using both its legs and wings, pounced toward the Researcher leader and Scout leader while slashing its right wing at them. The fire burning within the Phoenix’s body slowly turned into grains of light and flew out through the gaps in the joints all over its body, then floated upward and merged with the magic circle above. The Phoenix stood using both its wings and legs, staying where it was.
