Flames enveloped this Scout wizard’s sword blade; he thrusted his sword toward Daganzo, and flame resembling a sword blade shot towards Daganzo. Daganzo used his Existence sword to block Fire Thrust; the flame exploded and spread in all directions. At the same time, Daganzo concentrated.
“Wind Slash.”
A blackish-white wind enveloped Daganzo’s sword blade; he then slashed it toward the Scout wizards before him. The crescent-shaped blackish-white wind shot toward the Scout wizards; they immediately evaded it in various directions. One of the Scout wizards used the Glass Wall magic spell to parry. Because this crescent-shaped wind shot fast, it managed to hit the Glass Wall magic spell before it was formed completely and shattered it: this Scout wizard was thrown back several meters and fell onto the floor, causing him to have difficulty standing. Alton swung his sheathed Soul Dagger at the fallen Scout wizard as he cast a stun magic spell and hit, causing him to fall unconscious. On the other hand, Furano concentrated.
“Blizzard Blast.”
One-meter diameter of a dendrite ice crystal formed at Furano’s handgun muzzle; she aimed her handgun at one of the Scout wizards attacking Alton while taking cover behind her cloak. The ice resembled an arrow hitting one of the Scout wizards and almost freezing his entire body; he then fell, broke the ice on his body, and fell unconscious.

A dagger blade of white and blue ice formed on Alton’s dagger hilt. The Scout wizard slashed his sword; a huge crescent-shaped flame shot toward Alton. Alton slashed the ice dagger in his right hand at the flame, causing it to split into two, freeze into ice, fall onto the floor, and shatter. The Scout wizard cast a Stun magic spell at Alton; Alton then pointed his Ice Dagger forward.
“Reverse Wall.”
An ice wall with an uneven surface formed before Alton; the Stun magic spell hit the ice wall and shattered it; suddenly, Alton disappeared from his place. The Scout wizard was confused and realized something; he immediately turned back. The Scout wizard fell unconscious, caused by Alton, who suddenly stood behind him and attacked him with a Stun magic spell.
Daganzo ran towards another Scout wizard as he slashed his sword at the stun magic spell that resembled a flare that shot towards him, causing the light to shatter and disappear. Daganzo slashed his sword at the Scout wizard, who then parry using his sword. Daganzo and the Scout wizard attack and parry each other sword attacks. Daganzo had the upper hand in this sword fight, then blocked the Scout wizard’s attack and deflected it, catching him off guard. Daganzo immediately used the Stun Magic Spell that hit the Scout wizard, causing him to fall unconscious.
Furano parried the Stun magic spell attack using her cloak and could also evade correctly. Furano fired Blizzard Blast magic spell from her handgun and froze one of the Scout wizards, whose body then almost froze entirely and then fell unconscious.

“I don’t know why these Scout wizards attacked us.”

“Moreover, how do they attacked us with deadly magic spells means their orders is don’t have to capture us alive.”
Daganzo nodded.
“We have to immediately break through to the Dimensional Gate. Because I have already been there, let me show you the way.”

Alton and Daganzo swung their sword and dagger as they called their flying broomsticks, which then flew toward them. Furano pulled her broomsticks from inside the black panel. They flew towards the open area in the center of this skyscraper from the first floor to the 90th floor, where eight groups of buildings formed eight pillars-like buildings and were connected by open hallways that surrounded the open area on each floor. They rode their broomsticks up each level of the building vigilantly. Not long after, five Scout wizards rode their flying broomsticks from below, chasing the three while swinging their Existence Swords and firing Stun Magic Spells. The three looked down and were surprised. Alton said.
“They’re chasing us from below.”
Daganzo nodded.
“We have to keep going or they will catch up to us.”
Furano and Alton nodded.
The three continued flying while evading the Stun magic spells that shot toward them. They finally arrived at the 89th floor, especially for Researcher Division wizards. The atmosphere was relatively quiet, and only a few Researcher wizards walked around. The three landed in the open hallway surrounding the open area in the center of the building and ran toward one of the wide main corridors; their broomsticks flew away in various directions. Not long after, the five Scout wizards chasing them also landed in the open hallway; their broomsticks then flew away in various directions. They immediately chased the three through the main corridor, causing several Researcher wizards who happened to be walking around here then watch them with astonished expressions.
Daganzo, Alton, and Furano had run far from the five Scout wizards chasing them. Not long after, they saw that two other Scout wizards were running towards them far ahead. The three stopped running, realizing they were surrounded from the front and back directions. Alton’s expression turned serious.
“They are trying to surround us.”
Daganzo looked around; his attention was drawn to the corridor intersection ahead.
“We’ll find another way.”
Furano and Alton nodded. Daganzo continued running and turned to the right corridor; Alton and Furano ran after him. Daganzo’s attention was drawn to one of the tall wooden double doors on the right.
“We hide in this room first.”
Furano and Alton nodded. The three entered the room, an expansive magical technology research room with various assembly machines and a row of metal framed window panes on one side of the wall showing a view of the night sky covered in Glass Wall magic spells. They then hid behind the long desk in the middle of the room, kneeling. Daganzo observed the situation while hiding behind the desk.
Sometime later, Alton and Furano sat on the floor next to each other, leaning against the long desk and waiting until the situation was safe. Alton appeared to remember something; he then watched Furano curiously.
“Can I ask you something, Furano?”
