The guards who had only heard vague reports over their radio communications knew it was only one man coming into the room.

They mounted at the door waiting for the unknown assailant to walk into his death trap. Truthfully however they were all cowering in fear with the knowledge that most of their comrades who had gone ahead of them had ceased to communicate.

They could tell their friends were dead, and this man behind the door was a monster to be feared.

They were mounted against the edges of this doorway when three guards sandwiching at one spot behind the doorway simultaneously heard a sharp whizzing in their ears.

The other guards were forced to turn slightly when they heard three guns fall to the floor, to their disbelief their comrades were stuck to the wall. Their eyes still open and heads connected by a sharp brain piercing katana pointing down through the wall.

In their rage or fear rather, they stormed through the door guns firing wildly in all directions, until a thick dark cloud of smoke rose before them.

Inside this cloud the only thing that could be seen was blood splattering all around, bullets firing wildly within the cloud of thick smoke and a sword effortlessly whistling through the air as these fully grown men were cut down to naught.

When the smoke subsided the thirteen guards on the outside had now been multiplied to over thirty different body parts cleanly segregated.

Dante continued his ascension to the upper floors of the tower as he casually walked up the hallways.

Dante flashed his sword to clean off the human flesh that tried to cling to his blade, not batting an eye to the other ten guards he had killed despite their advanced weaponry and armor.

The first person to the target floor was Dante, as he entered the golden floor José cut the power to the building.

The guards surrounding this old oversized man neatly dressed did not hesitate to fire at the shadowy figure now standing at the doorway. As they opened fire the lights from the firing squad’s muzzle lit up the darkroom.

By the time the lights flashed the first member of the firing squad fell as blood sprayed from his neck, his blood thinned as it exposed to the air. The line of a dozen armored guards had now whittled down to eleven as one fell to the floor holding his neck trying to stop his blood from leaving his body. The remaining guards didn't flinch as their comrade fell.

Dante, still attempting to get closer to the target, rolled behind a decorative statue trying to gain cover in this scarcely lit room. As Dante moved, so did a light trail of bullets follow behind him, within seconds this decorative stone lion had been cut down to a kitten.

Running thin on his hardcover Dante took off his scarf and flashed it out to the left of the statue while dashing to the right.

The scarf before even being able to touch the floor was riddled in bullet holes. Meanwhile, Dante dashing to the right threw his shurikens as he moved to take cover behind a sofa within this large oval office of a room.

The first shuriken landed in the dead center of one of the guards' protective helmets lodging itself firmly in the ballistic helmet, While the second and third shuriken lodged themselves firmly in the barrel of two of the guards' M16 rifles. When they hurriedly fired at Dante who was now behind the sofa their rifles flashed brightly and a loud bang lit up the room.

The bright flash contrasting the darkness that engulfed the room forced the line of men to momentarily turn their heads in the opposite direction to protect their vision.

In this lapse of judgment Dante emerged from behind the sofa with his sword in hand as he shifted in the chaos. He sliced three of the eleven remaining guards clean through before the remaining turned their weapons on him once more firing at the figure shifting too closely.

Dante jumped back while using his sword to deflect any bullet daring to travel in his direction, he was forced to return behind the sofa he had so hurriedly jumped from.

Mr. Nova, the target, up until now had taken refuge under his work desk.

Nova got more nervous as the fire fight continued and from the chaos in the dark was now shifting through the desk draws to find his gun.

The moment Nova gripped his gun he saw streaks of red dripping down from the top of his desk. When he peeked above the table his well paid ‘professional’ security guard’s top half laid lifelessly on the top of the table as his blood dripped to run down the table.

In a fit of terror he grabbed his gun tighter and unknown to his security detail that was distracted, crawled his way to the exit of the room.
