The Rainbow Sword, brimming with rich innate Qi of the Gold element, was incredibly sharp. Its unstoppable sword aura ruthlessly slashed down, directly severing a section of the second-stage Sand Blight Spider's leg.

The front half of the leg, shimmering with a cold light, fell to the ground, and at the point of severance, purple blood immediately flowed out.

"Chirp!" The spider, in agony from having a leg severed, trembled and emitted a pitiful howl.

The remaining legs of the second-stage Sand Blight Spider began wildly thrashing toward Lu Yunxiao, becoming frenzied.

Lu Yunxiao blocked several strikes, swiftly evading and calmly observing the second-stage Sand Blight Spider with the Rainbow Sword in hand.

Although the severing of a few legs wasn't fatal for this second-stage Sand Blight Spider, it significantly impacted its strength, at least weakening its mobility to some extent.

The black eyes of the second-stage Sand Blight Spider glared maliciously at Lu Yunxiao, followed by another howl.

The sound was eerie, seemingly carrying a strange undertone.

After the sound echoed, Lu Yunxiao felt a disturbance in the distant sandy area. The quicksand sank as if something within the sand was about to emerge.

"Oh, is this an invitation? No wonder I only saw one Sand Blight Spider despite them being communal creatures. Turns out the rest are hiding in the sand." Lu Yunxiao's eyes revealed surprise, yet he remained composed, and confident in his abilities.

As the quicksand sank, a large group of Sand Blight Spiders revealed themselves. Lu Yunxiao casually glanced over, seeing dozens of them, mostly around a meter in size, all first-stage magical beasts.

"Is that all?" Lu Yunxiao remained calm. Dozens of first-stage magical beasts were nothing challenging for him.

"Host, should we consider retreating? Something seems off." The system's voice sounded in Lu Yunxiao's ear.

"No need. It's just a few dozen more first-stage magical beasts. It's inconsequential. Even if there were a hundred more, I wouldn't be afraid. For me now, these early first-stage magical beasts are just numbers," he casually responded.

"But what if it's more than a hundred?" the system murmured.

"What do you mean?" Lu Yunxiao's heart skipped a beat, suddenly sensing something was wrong.

His perception surged forward, and his expression drastically changed.

"Crackle!"

"Crackle!"

The quicksand slowly settled, making faint sounds. From each depression, first-stage Sand Blight Spiders emerged one after another.

At a glance, it was densely packed, numbering in the hundreds.

"Gulp!" Lu Yunxiao swallowed hard, his eyelids twitching slightly, a trace of a grimace on his lips.

"Pardon me, I must take my leave!" Lu Yunxiao clasped his hands together and swiftly moved backward.

"Host, you might not get away that easily," the system's voice rang again.

"What now?" Lu Yunxiao frowned.

"Take a look!" The system whispered.

Lu Yunxiao couldn't help but look up. Scanning his retreat path, he saw Sand Blight Spiders emerging from the sand, blocking his way. The numbers were so dense that he estimated there were hundreds more.

He was caught between a rock and a hard place, with a combined force of not less than a thousand Sand Blight Spiders surrounding him tightly.

"Did I just poke a spider's nest?" Lu Yunxiao felt his scalp tingling, gripping the Rainbow Sword tighter.

"You indeed stirred the spider's nest. From the current situation, this should be their nest. Your luck is something else. You found your way here so easily," the system calmly remarked.

"I'd rather not have this kind of luck," Lu Yunxiao said, looking at the surrounding Sand Blight Spiders, feeling helpless.

"Host, didn't you say you weren't afraid? Weren't these early first-stage magical beasts just numbers to you?" The system sarcastically remarked.

"I was just saying. Don't take it seriously. When numbers reach a certain level, they become frightening," he replied.

"Sigh, I say one flirtatious line for the first time in my life, and this happens. Spiders are already creepy, and a thousand Sand Blight Spiders gathered together is truly terrifying. I have arachnophobia," Lu Yunxiao said, his eyes becoming sharper. There was only one way out of this situation - to fight his way through.

Facing over a thousand Sand Blight Spiders was an unprecedented pressure for Lu Yunxiao, yet it also heightened his excitement.

He might talk about fear casually, but he had never truly been afraid.

"No choice but to force my way out!" Lu Yunxiao dashed forward, leaving dozens of first-stage Sand Blight Spider corpses in his wake.

However, these Sand Blight Spiders were undeterred, relentlessly impeding him. Their terrifying numbers seemed unending, giving Lu Yunxiao immense pressure.

Even if he could keep killing, his internal Qi might not support the slaughter of this many Sand Blight Spiders.

The Intermediate-level Xuan art stored a considerable amount of Qi, but these Sand Blight Spiders' numbers were too overwhelming.

"Crackle!" As Lu Yunxiao killed another first-stage Sand Blight Spider, a sudden sense of danger surged within him. He swiftly sidestepped, slashing with his sword.

A massive Sand Blight Spider swooped down from above, its sharp leg meeting Lu Yunxiao's sword. The tremendous force pushed him back several steps.

At the same time, two other first-stage Sand Blight Spiders lunged. Lu Yunxiao dodged, but one leg grazed his white robe, slicing off a corner.

Lu Yunxiao's heart froze. His Qi erupted, and a terrifying sword aura emanated, tearing the two Sand Blight Spiders into pieces.

Holding the Rainbow Sword, Lu Yunxiao faced the second-stage Sand Blight Spider in front of him, his expression now extremely grave.
