Unknown was always the most terrifying.
Not being able to see the person behind, nor knowing the intentions of the person behind, made Ruan Qing even more uneasy. He struggled desperately, trying to break free from the restraints.
“Umm... umm...”
However, his body was just too weak. Even with all his strength, he couldn’t budge the person behind him even the slightest bit. He couldn’t even turn his head to see who was behind him.
He could only be dragged beneath the dark staircase.
The hand covering the boy’s mouth was slightly oversized, with a frame that only a man would have, and the figure behind him was tall, undoubtedly a man.
The man’s strength was also quite strong, making the boy’s face turn slightly red, contrasting against his fair skin.

Even the light from nearby windows couldn’t reach this spot because it was standing in the shadow beneath the staircase.
But even so, two figures could vaguely be seen moving under the staircase.
The slender boy was pressed against the wall by the tall man, and then his beautiful eyes were covered with something, completely plunging his sight into darkness.
In the darkness, unable to see anything, people became even more fearful and uneasy. It amplified all senses, making both the mind and body more sensitive.
Especially hearing and perception.

Just as the man was about to become even more audacious, the sound of the fight not far away finally ceased, replaced by a commotion. Even in this corner, one could clearly hear it.
Finally, someone noticed the disappearance of the young boy.
Ruan Qing also heard the sounds outside. He struggled with all his might, hoping to attract the attention of people outside.
Unfortunately, the man’s strength was overpowering, and he couldn’t resist.
Perhaps due to the boy’s intense struggle, the person behind him grew impatient and directly swung a knife at the boy’s neck.
Ruan Qing’s vision went black, and his body instantly went limp, falling into the man’s embrace, completely losing the ability to resist.
