Bastian and his women returned home from their trip to the island, but their search for the legendary treasure was unsuccessful. They now faced the daunting task of starting over again. However, this time, the challenge was even greater because the information they had in hand led them to the Demondor Region, one of the most perilous places, and from the information known to Bastian, it was completely different from the Fallen Continent.

The available information about the region was limited compared to the maps and information they had previously gathered. However, it was still a significant area; the island was huge and the biggest region of the empire. Its size was about 20 percent of the entire continent. The only way to access it was by ship or boat, and the journey would take around a month to reach the island.

Unfortunately, landing on the island meant entering treacherous territory inhabited by dangerous demon kin. All of them were extremely dangerous as Vampires, who fed on the blood of other races, and the Succubus and Incubus, who obtained their sustenance from inner energy through intercourse. However, the most dangerous of all was the Cannibal Witches and Wizards, who preyed on the flesh of children and maidens of all races, including demon kin races.

Now it was time to face one of the most dangerous adventures till now, but Bastian was not afraid at all, and with that in mind, he decided to start the new journey. The direction to go was different from the previous island, the opposite in fact, but taking the Teleportation Office as the starting route, he could reach the port where the ships would set sail to other places, including the Demondor Region Island.

It was a difficult task to find a ship to go to Demondor Region Island, as everyone was afraid of the place itself, so Bastian took the initiative to buy a ship and make the trip by himself. Bastian looked for a while, but he did not find any available ship able to do this trip, so he went inside his Godly Abode and crafted a Ship Artifact, a steamboat, big enough to face the ocean, capable of self-defense and attack, with all the luxuries of a mansion, and more.

The most important thing was that Bastian could control it alone, clad in steel and Mithril, it could withstand a monster's attack easily with its defensive array formations and strike with the power to destroy a city over and over again.

The ocean has a reputation for being a dangerous place, with many stories and information detailing terrifying sea beast attacks that have claimed countless lives and destroyed numerous ships over the years. These sea beasts were said to be as huge as a mountain and incredibly powerful.

However, Bastian had prepared for any potential problems by creating a Teleportation Base as a fast evacuation route. Bastian spent an entire year in the Godly Abode preparing for all possibilities. He was proud to display his Ship Artifact, which impressed his women, who knew of his capabilities.

Aboard the Ship Artifact, Bastian went sailing on a journey to the most perilous island in the nearby known region. While some were understandably anxious, Bastian was visibly excited and not affected by the risks.

Bastian had prior experience with sailing and navy technology in his previous life. It did not take him long to develop some Artifacts to aid him in sailing alone, even on a large ship like his. One of his notable inventions was a sonar artifact that could locate and display underwater animals. Another sonar artifact was responsible for displaying the deep-sea surface.

With his technological advancements and knowledge, navigating the ship was effortless. The steam-propelled ship artifact he created was several times faster than a sailing ship which could ensure a faster trip, Bastian had calculated about 10 to 12 days to reach the island of Demondor Region.

Bastian also knew how to prevent the ship from rocking, ensuring his women would not feel sick as in their previous boat experience. His companions acknowledged and showed gratitude and love for his hard work.

One of his most impressive creations within the Ship Artifact was a formation array that created an illusion that could disguise the ship as a glacier, protecting it from sea monster attacks. The trip was smooth until they encountered the largest sea beast they had ever seen.

The creature's body resembled a whale's but had a long snout full of crocodile-like teeth, huge scales covering all of its body, and a forked tail. Its body measured over 100 meters. The beast chased a spirit beast that resembled an orca, seemingly playing with its prey, but its grandeur and speed left everyone paralyzed by fear.

Fortunately, the beast did not notice the ship and passed by quickly, leaving a terrifying feeling in the air. Upon encountering the Sea Beast, Bastian grew uneasy and quickly increased the ship's velocity to the max to hasten their journey. They arrived at an island that Bastian believed to be in the Demondor Region after only two days of sailing after the encounter.

Exhausted from their escape from the water, Bastian sought refuge in the Godly Abode to rest. He also secured the Ship Artifact inside the Godly Abode for safekeeping. It took a week for Bastian to fully recover from the ordeal, during which he spared some time to study and analyze some maps to plan their route.

According to their research, the "Water Source of Life" lay deep within the Demondor Region, specifically in the Succubus and Incubus territories. The region was divided into five territories, with the Demondor Family Clan Territory being the largest and home to the region's biggest city. The other territories were the Vampire Territory, the Cannibal Witches and Wizards Territory, the Werewolf Territory, and the Succubus and Incubus Territory.

Bastian analyzed the best route but changed it to avoid the Cannibal Witches and Wizards Territory, adding 10 days to their trip to reach their destination. They would travel through the Demondor and the Vampire Territories to arrive at their destination: the Succubus and Incubus Territories. From the frontier to the final place, it would take 2 days more.

To prevent any dangers, Bastian stated that everyone would use the full armor and weapons at hand at all times. Bastian's weapons were his fan and the inherited sword. Recently, Bastian spent some time improving his fan and his sword. To his fan, he added some sturdy and strengthening arrays, and for his sword, he re-forged it, adding Mithril and Black Obsidian, a Power Stone, to power the Arrays of Sharpening and Strengthening.

After some preparation, Bastian and his group began their journey, taking precautions to disguise themselves with coats and hats. Bastian also brought his Shadow Panther from the Godly Abode to enhance their combat abilities.

The land they traveled through was peculiar, with dry soil and perpetual darkness due to black clouds covering the sun. This reminded Bastian of horror movies from his past life. Despite the eerie surroundings, they traveled like a well-trained army, always aware of their positions and avoiding crowds. They rested safely in the Godly Abode when necessary. However, encounters were inevitable, and they eventually came across a group of black demon hunters led by a tall Black-Horned Demon.

Wearing a mask to disguise his features, Bastian handled the conversation with care, avoiding any misunderstandings or confrontations. They ended up making a transaction, exchanging rice and meat for Power Stones, which pleased both groups, but especially Bastian as he gathered tens of Power Stones. Bastian then continued to travel as far as possible.

After losing sight of the hunters, Bastian and his companions entered the Godly Abode. However, Bastian discovered that one hunter still tried tracking them. Without hesitation, he dealt with the hunter swiftly and silently, causing the hunter to lose his head without knowing what hit him.

Within the Godly Abode, they were safe, as Bastian was the entrance himself. Bastian had learned that the local currency was based on Power Stones, which he was now in possession of after trading rice and meat with a hunting group.

Carefully examining each of the 50 Power Stones, Bastian noticed distinctive markings on some of them, indicating that they had been mined from a particular location. Consulting a map, he saw a pickaxe symbol along their route, leading to a wide grin spreading across his face and causing some of his women that were nearby to shiver.

On the second day of their journey, Bastian and his companions spotted what appeared to be a village in the distance. Having decided earlier to avoid the natives, they chose to skirt the outskirts rather than pass through the village itself. From afar, they noticed a gathering of demons consuming what seemed to be raw cattle, a sight that turned their stomachs.

Seizing the opportunity, Bastian ensured they remained unseen, putting as much distance as possible between them and the locals. These inhabitants resembled humans to some extent, though with larger bodies, horns, and sharp teeth and nails.

What unnerved them the most was not just their appearance but also their behavior and eating habits. Most of these demons fed on raw meat, with some even indulging in blood or inner essence. The most horrifying were those who preyed upon live creatures, be it cattle or other races.

Bastian had no intention of engaging with their customs or becoming their prey and decided that it was wiser to avoid any potential trouble. Thus, they opted to encircle the villages, and to their relief, they encountered no other demons along the way.

After another day and a half, they reached the heart of Demondor Territory. They had to occasionally hide to avoid unfortunate encounters. However, something enraging soon occurred. The group stumbled upon another party, led by towering black demons. Shockingly, these demons were accompanied by a group of enslaved individuals chained by the neck. While the slaves themselves were not an issue, the fact that they were High Elves, Humans, Dwarves, Angels, and even fellow demon kin stirred Bastian's anger.

Around 30 demons oversaw the slaves. The decision was clear: these oppressors had to be eliminated. Bastian devised a swift attack, splitting his group into two. Some took out the guards from a distance, while others with stealth skills easily subdued the rest as they paused to rest and eat.

Approximately a hundred slaves were rescued. After cleansing the area, Bastian ensured no traces remained. He brought the slaves into his Godly Abode, entrusting some of his women with their care. There, he discovered something infuriating. The demons had somehow acquired a pair of his Teleportation Bases, using them to transport slaves from the Fallen Continent to Demondor. What heightened his ire was realizing that these were his last prototypes with an extended range.

Taking personal responsibility, Bastian reflected on his role in crafting the Teleportation Base. Given his prior experience dealing with slavers, he felt compelled to intervene. To his astonishment, one of the children among the slaves knew the exact location of the base. The information was not far from them, in a nearby village. This child provided Bastian with precise details, including the number of demons present and the Teleportation Base's placement.

Bastian decided to handle this matter with finesse. Accompanied by some of his faithful women, he conducted reconnaissance in the village. Their findings revealed a relatively small population of no more than a hundred demons, making the situation more manageable.

Equipping his women with recent weapons he had developed from his past life's knowledge, Bastian provided them with bracelet-like artifacts capable of firing around a hundred thin yet lethal needles. As they infiltrated the village, they swiftly neutralized all threats. However, they also uncovered another enraging revelation: the individual responsible for selling his Teleportation Bases, his "business partner," was present in the mansion, sleeping peacefully. Bastian apprehended him while he slept transported him to his Godly Abode, and awakened him in a dungeon cell.

Using one of the Teleportation Bases, Bastian reached the other end, finding an unoccupied dwelling. Determined to prevent further misuse, he obliterated the Teleportation Base, ensuring it would never be utilized again. Bastian did not require such a device to teleport and returned to the first base. There, he repeated the process, annihilating it once and for all. He chose to eliminate all the demons except for his former "business partner," who was already secured in a cell.

Upon finishing the task of removing any evidence and valuable items from the location, Bastian began to ponder what steps he should take next to ensure the safety of his artifacts.

He swiftly departed the village with his loyal women, utilizing the cover of darkness to travel for an entire day without rest. Their rapid pace allowed them to cover an impressive distance, avoiding potential hazards or unwanted interactions with small settlements.

As another day passed, Bastian and his group left the Demondor Territory and entered the Vampire Territory. While looking at his map, Bastian noticed a "pickaxe" symbol indicating a mine nearby. Intrigued, he decided to investigate.

Upon arrival at the place signaled by a pickaxe on the map, Bastian saw a small settlement next to a massive mountain cliff. From afar, he spotted a cave entrance, which he believed to be the mine. To his surprise, there were only twenty Vampires in the area. Nonetheless, Bastian remained cautious about their capabilities. The miners, who were slaves of different races, including humans, were also present.

Bastian chose to observe the Vampires before making any moves. He wanted to analyze their combat skills before engaging in a battle. His patience paid off when he witnessed the Vampires' strength and speed during a demon invasion on the second day of his observation.

Bastian realized that the Vampires were superior to the demons in combat, but they did not use any weapons, which left them vulnerable.

After the Vampires and Demons finished their battle, in which the latter attempted to rob the former, Bastian seized the opportunity during their weakest and most vulnerable moment to swiftly launch an attack. He utilized blades and firearms, easily dispatching the group of twenty-plus foes who posed no threat to Bastian and his companions.

Bastian was no fool, he recognized the value of this chance and promptly gathered all available resources. He mined Power Stones and also took in the slaves within his Godly Abode. However, he was struck by a sorrowful sight: deep within the mine, he discovered an ice-made coffin securely bound with robust Mithril chains. Within the coffin lay a stunning yet lifeless girl.

Deciding to bring her along, Bastian transferred her coffin into the Godly Abode. With his sights set on the final destination and a desire to depart swiftly, they journeyed for an entire day before pausing to rest.

Five days later, they crossed the border of the Vampire Territory, eventually arriving at the Succubus and Incubus Territory. Bastian approached this new territory with caution, lacking any prior information about its inhabitants. While the remaining distance to their ultimate destination was not extensive, the territory itself remained shrouded in mystery.
