(Gevaudan's Perspective)

―― I heard the sound of a flute.

Then, Tiriel was right in front of me.

Behind her was Kyo. Both were naked. Tiriel clutched her staff in her birthday suit, while in the back, Kyo held Yakumo. Both were shivering, seemingly cold.

"Tiriel."

"G-ge... Gevo... Gevau... dan..."

How stiff. Tiriel's lips were pale blue, calling my name while chattering her teeth.

"Cold?"

"You... came to your senses...?"

"Nn."

"...Won't gonna kill... anymore?"

Like a child afraid of abuse. It tugged at my heartstrings.

"?"

Something's off.

I turned my head and looked around.

We were inside a cage. It seemed to be the cell that had captured Tiriel. The bars at the rear were bent and spread open. Beyond that was a scene of carnage.

――Did I lose it?

"Tiriel, injured?"

I checked, just to be sure. Flawless flaxen hair. Pointed ears. Slender neck.  Smooth collarbones. Growing chest. White, curvy belly. S-shaped spine. A slightly thin but has child-bearing hips. A hairless mound—perfect! Her silky skin was unblemished.

"...Uuun....."

Tears welled up in Tiriel's eyes.

"Bweeee~~~eehhh!"

She burst into tears and hugged me tightly.

The girls were both naked and so was I, covered in blood. Like sunburn marks on a swimsuit, behind the apron part was the same grayish skin.

"We... survived! We're saved, Yakumo-san!"

Kyo, who had been silently watching our exchange, collapsed while still holding Yakumo. Yakumo nestled in the cleavage of her breasts, *sunn*.

"Yay~! Yay~ yay~ yay~!"

Tiriel cries out in relief at my chest.

It was now or never. I thought.

"Tiriel."

"Bweh?"

"I, always, liked you. I want, now, here."

"..."

Tiriel, who had returned to a serious expression, answered after a few breaths.

"...B-but...I don't want to...?"

"Orc, festival, win. Victory, sex."

"No...? I mean... Gevaudan isn't an orc..."

Tch, no good.

I'm too dirty right now. Guts stuck to my shoulder, and there's a taste of brain in my mouth, it's just too disgusting. If I were to confess, I should have tidied up my appearance. What a failure.

"Memory, none. Tell me."

While asking what had happened to me, I picked up and discarded the guts stuck to my shoulder. Kyo, still naked, approached me and shouted.

"It was tough you know!! Gevaudan-san went on a rampage, and Tiriel-san used her skills to stop you!"

"Hou."

"We thought of a way to calm Gevaudan-san down! So, the two of us got naked and did some seducing to grab your attention. Well, it worked! But..."

"Is that, so?"

"Don't you remember!? That was so embassing! And then, Gevaudan-san came right up to the bars but unfortunately, we were too careless! Because the door was locked and Gevaudan-san just stopped moving with your hand on the bar you know?! Well, anyway, we let our guard down for a moment when we thought we could catch our breath!"

"Then?"

"And then...Gevaudan-san managed to pry open the bars and came inside! The sight! It was so terrifying! I was so scared! You opened your mouth and  Guooooh! eyeballs and who knows what else started rolling out! We were so freaked out! There was no way we were going to get away with seducing you at that point! I just wanted to make sure Yakumo could escape at least!"

"So, I took a gamble and used enchantment! It was so, so scary!"

Tiriel pounded my chest several times with clenched fists and then, almost spitting out the words, said.

"I thought I was going to die!"

Her teeth gritted. Tears welled up, and her eyes were serious.

So that's when my consciousness returned. Through their desperate appeals, I roughly understood the situation.

Well, anyhow, we could consider the Orc settlement completely subdued now. I didn't remember how many I killed, but within my visible range, the surviving ones were sitting there in a daze, lacking any will to fight or even run away. They probably wouldn't oppose me anymore.

I wanted to appreciate the sight of the two naked beauties a bit more, but I instructed them to put on clothes. It was a shame to miss their seducing.

I also picked up an apron lying nearby and put it back around my neck. At that moment, an unexpected sound came from the pocket.

A bad premonition hit me.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

I messed up. To be able to trace the signal anytime, I placed my smartphone in the apron pocket. It was completely broken. The screen had cracks all over, and it was in a pitiful state.

Damn it...

Though I could always search for signals, the phone was crucial for maintaining connections with Haruka and the others. What a waste...

"What's wrong, Gevaudan?"

Tiriel, who called out from behind, received the full force of my emotions.

"You, orc. Die."

"Please! That's enough! Please stop!"

While I was doing that, the cowering orcs started gathering around me.

"New chief..."

"We will follow the new chief."

They said.

"If we leave them like this, these people will just slowly die out. What are you going to do?"

Kyo asked me quietly, but I had no idea.

"Chief, we've prepared dinner."

"Please accept our offering."

Dinner? They're giving me food?

I wondered what orc food was like. The thought of a meal made me excited.

"Food, what? Interesting."

"Since you've gone on such a rampage, surely you need something to put you in a good mood, right?"

"While I was watching orc life from inside the cage, their meals are quite surprisingly decent, I think."

"H-hel-help meeee!"

Thrown in front of me was a small man.

"Chief. This is a Halfling we captured a few days ago."

"Please, it's nothing much, but feel free to enjoy."

""...""

The man, arms bound behind his back, looked like a child. Wearing a beret resembling an acorn and glasses.

"I-I'm just an ordinary adventurer! I happened to pass by this area a few days ago, and suddenly the orcs attacked!"

"Liar!"

"Ga-ha!?"

The man was struck with the butt of a spear, hit so hard that his acorn hat and glasses fell off, and he rolled on the ground.

In the process, the bag he had hanging around his neck spilled its contents, scattering all over the ground.

"Leader, this Halfling sneaked into our home, creeping around looking for something. He's awaiting execution. So feel free to crunch him up to the bone."

"It's a misunderstanding! I beg you, please spare my life!"

"It's okay. We're not like that, right, Gevaudan?"

"Eat, No?"

"Of course, you can't."

Kyo untied the man who had been bound.

"Why are you all alone in a place like this, uncle?"

So he's an uncle. Despite looking like a child. The correlation between appearance and age was tricky with a Miforsis.

"Oh... I'm saved! Thank you!"

The man adjusted his cracked glasses, picked up his acorn hat, and expressed his gratitude.

"I'm Bionte. I specialize in archaeology, and—ahh!"

When I picked up one of the stones that had rolled to my feet when he was hit earlier, Bionte, the man who introduced himself, screamed.

"T-That's!"

It was a seashell, about the size of a slightly larger clam.

Though the inside was empty, the inner surface of the shell shimmered with a rainbow color. It was a different kind of intricate iridescence compared to the mother of pearl I know.

"Can you give it back!"

Bionte clung to me with a strong sense of urgency. I didn't have any intention of taking it, though.

"Here."

"Oh, thank you... Sorry for speaking so loudly. It's very important to me."

Bionte apologized and carefully placed the shell back into his bag, handling it like one would a baby.
