Chapter 168: Jess The Jockey

Noah pulled the sleeve of his coat as he took it off. He couldn't understand why Stellar chose this place for their session.

They looked so out of place. He was wearing a business suit while she was wearing a loose tunic dress in deep red. The dress has enough pattern to induce another headache.

In a way, he could be partly blamed for the situation he was in. He requested the 'talk' to be in public because he doesn't want anybody to know that he was seeing another quack doctor.

Well, Clark was a real neurologist, however, Stellar has no medical certification, didn't study anything related to his brain problem, but she was the only one that was able to make him talk and get him to stop drinking.

Other therapists he had been to were unsuccessful. And he had been to many of them.

Until Tala suggested that he talk to her younger sister that's into new age shit. Meditation, channeling energy, letting out of his emotion, and all that shit.

It was successful before. And he was hoping now that she could help her again because he couldn't understand what was happening with his brain.

"Old man, stop acting like you don't want to be here," she pouted at Noah like a lover throwing a tantrum.

He took a deep sigh and gave Stellar a murderous look, "Listen, Stellar. I know that you can help me, but is it really necessary for us to act like this in public?"

"Well, you are known to date a lot of women. The best way to hide that me was to be seen with me in public."

He took a deep sigh and rolled his neck from side to side to ease the taut muscle from his shoulder. He slept at his office and his office couch was comfortable for sitting not for sleeping.

Not to add that he was itching to see Jess or just even hear her voice, but this stupid girl in front of him, told him not to!

"Until when I am not allowed to contact Jess?"

"Until I am done with my breakfast! How's that?" She snarled at him.

This girl's face doesn't match her attitude.

Noah had no choice but to bite his tongue and continue his story while Stellar enjoyed her egg benedict and oat bread toast covered in honey.

"I still had the same dream last night. The image was like a broken old movie in my head. It's a continuous loop of the same image until I woke up."

"Until you woke up hard. I mean, that was one hell of a ride," she grinned. "I would love to meet this girl that rode you in your dream like you were a stallion."

"I really can't believe that you are the only one that could help me with my problem."

He picked up his coffee that had already grown lukewarm because she let him tell his recurring dream again and again even though she had heard it a dozen times.

He scanned the place to look for the waiter and signal him that he wanted some fresh coffee.

"You can find other people to help you with your problem, but remember the reason why you thought I was the best choice, huh?"

"Yes. But it is still bullshit!"

"Well, I'm not pointing a gun on your head to meet me, Noah."

Her pupils were highly dilated now with how much she rolled her eyes at every whine she heard from Noah.

Noah heaved another sigh and massaged his neck, "Me being the next CEO of ANAT will be decided in the next annual shareholders meeting —"

"And you don't want any problem that would hinder that from happening, especially a question of - whether you are sane enough to assume the CEO position from your father," she nodded after taking a bite of her oat bread. "I get it, Noah."

"When can we do the hypnosis session?"

"We can't."

"What do you mean we can't?"

"We had some rift in our previous relationship because we ended up fucking each other -- I never regretted it, by the way," she said, running her foot over his leg under the table.

Noah gripped the bread knife, "Stop playing around, Stellar."

"There is still a lot of tension between us because of that Noah. It is necessary to knock down the barriers between us before we do hypnosis."

"We did it before --"

"Noah," she put her finger on his lips to stop him from talking. "Putting you under hypnosis is a dangerous thing. Especially now. Besides, hypnosis is NOT a game."

"Yes, especially if your doctor is a quack!"

"Noah, you are the only one who considers me a doctor. Others I helped simply regard me as a friend with whom they consult when something bothers them."

"Why don't you just study and be a real doctor?" he asked out of curiosity.

"I'm studying right now."

"Well, that is good. You can be a real therapist in the future."

"I am studying Accountancy, Noah."

He snorted and spat his coffee upon hearing that Stellar was studying Accountancy.

"Seriously?"

"Yes."

"Oh!" Seeing the downcast expression on Stellar's face, he stopped pushing her. "I think studying numbers is also good."

"Don't patronize me, Noah. I don't study numbers because I want to, same with I don't need to study people's behavior because I have to. I just happened to be good at people."

He couldn't deny that. When Tala told him before, when his head was in a very bad place, that it would help him if he would talk to her sister, he laughed.

How could a seventeen years old kid help him with the monster in his head? Those expensive therapists couldn't help him. But then, Tala was right. Stellar was truly good at making people talk.

When he started hanging out with her, she was able to make him open up about things that he couldn't even speak about with those paid therapists that he had.

Stellar was able to help him talk about the root cause of his alcohol problem, and after attending enough AA meetings, he was finally able to free himself from his alcohol addiction.

Now, he is seeking her help again to help him understand his recurring dream. The dream that he has been having was the image that he had when he got a terrible headache in Jess's apartment.

In his dream, Jess was bouncing on top of him, calling his name in throes of orgasm. It was an awesome dream, he wasn't going to deny that.

He also wouldn't deny that we wished Jess would ride him as she did in his dream. It should not be a problem if the same image didn't happen in his awake and asleep state of mind.

He first saw the beautiful image of Jess riding him wildly when he had that headache, and ever since, he would dream of it every single night.

Stellar told him that it was just his deepest, darkest, and most perverted desires.

And he would agree. He desires Jess on a level even he couldn't understand. When they make love, he couldn't get enough of her, thus dreaming - awake or asleep- of her riding him wasn't unusual.

But he wasn't a pervert! Dreaming the same image, again and again, was what makes it strange.

Thus, he thought his memory lapses return and he went to Carl to have an MRI and thorough examination and they found out that there is nothing wrong with his brain.

"If you cannot put me under hypnosis, what are we going to do?"

"We kept on dating!"

"We are not dating, Stellar!"

"Relax Noah, you are so uptight. I think it's about time that you meet your jockey," she smirked maliciously.

"You are lucky you are a girl because if not, I already punched you in the face."

"Does this jockey of yours know how disgustingly possessive you are?"

"She knew." He glanced at his wristwatch and saw that it was now quarter to one. He had to return to the office because they have to finalize the meetings with the possible investor for their newly acquired pharma company in India.

Markus already sent him a message that he already landed and he would be in his office within an hour.

"I will be extremely busy in the next few days, I don't have time to meet you."

"That's okay. Just buy me the games I asked you to buy."

He nodded. Another weird thing about this setup was that Stellar doesn't ask for monetary payment. She would just ask him to buy her random stuff as a form of payment.

"And, yeah, you can contact Jess now. Your dream didn't change in the two days you didn't contact her. Let's find out if your dream will change when the two of you interact with each other."

"Thank God! I hope she wasn't so mad at me for disappearing for two days."

"What's wrong?"

"Huh?" a crease formed in between his eyebrows. "Nothing. It's just I got a notification from my bank about a jewelry purchase at Harry Winston"

He stood up from his chair, and grabbed his coat that he hung at the back of his chair, "Where should I take you?", he asked Stellar.

The notification from the bank was forgotten. He's in a hurry to get his real phone that he left in his safety deposit box, so he won't text or call Jess.
