Jess kept on looking at her phone as Aadir— the house boy in their accommodation, explained the separation of room, and the rules inside the compound.

Jess was impressed that they got an old villa as their accommodation. As she walked along the hallway to her room, which was next to Dr. Sison's room, she had a glimpse of a courtyard. She would love to check it out, but right now, Aadir was telling her that the room in between her room and Dr. Sison would serve as Dr. Sison's study.

According to Aadir, this villa was from the previous owner of the laboratory that ANAT acquired. The owner gave this villa as a personal gift to the owner of ANAT.

Jess wondered which owner of ANAT was Aadir talking about. Since there are three generations of Tiefenbacher that owned ANAT, she wondered to which Tiefenbacher, the previous company owner, gifted this villa.

"Miss Zimmerman, this would be your room," Aadir proudly opened the door to her bedroom, and the first thing Jess noticed was the bed under the huge window, overlooking the garden.

Jess couldn't help thinking that Noah made sure that her room has a huge window because he knew how much she loves to be bathed in the morning sun.

Thinking of Noah, she glanced at her phone again even though it didn't chirp or vibrate to indicate that there was a new message. She wondered what happened to Noah. Did he get mad that she sent him a picture with Markus on it?

"This is your toilet and bath, this room also has a walk-in closet, a reading nook and the balcony has a breakfast table. We were told that you like having breakfast on the balcony of your room."

Jess cocked her head to the side from what she heard from Aadir. A while ago, it was just wishful thinking on her part, imagining Noah giving a specific order of having her bed under a huge window.

But from what Aadir said, Jess confirmed that Noah gave a specific order about her accommodation.

"Uhm, Aadir, are all rooms like this? I mean, do the other researchers have the same room as mine?"

Aadir gazed at her for a few minutes, gawking in front of her, speechless.

The man looked confused with her questions. "You don't like your room, Miss?" he asked, panic was visible in his voice. His gaze darted across the room as though he was checking if he forgot to do something about the room.

"No! I love the room. It's beautiful," she blurted out, stopping Aadir in his panic.

"Do you want to change something, Miss?" he was still alert on whatever she was going to say.

"There is nothing that I want to change. The room is perfect." She smiled broadly to affirm what she said.

Aadir smiled and took a deep sigh, clearly relieved that she liked her room.

"I was just asking..." she smiled so as not to cause another panic for him, "because I was curious."

"If you mean, if the room has the same feature, I would say yes." he nodded. "All of the rooms in this villa are beautiful and have their own characteristics. But this room --" he swiped his gaze all over the room, "this room is for you. I hope you are happy."

She nodded eagerly, "Yes, I am happy. Thank you, Aadir."

The young man's face lit up with what she said.

"Your things were already unpacked for you," he nodded in the direction of her walk-in closet. "Would you like to see the study that Dr. Sison was using? I was informed that you were working alongside her."

She nodded and wondered if Aadir was truly just a house boy in this villa. The young man is smart and if you let him wear a long tail suit, he can easily be a butler.

Aadir walked to her door and waited for her to step out of her bedroom before he headed to the next room. He knocked on the door softly and then said "excuse me" before opening the door.

Jess smiled, liking the attitude of the young man. They both know that Dr. Sison wasn't in the study because, after the sumptuous lunch that Markus prepared for them, Dr. Sison joined Markus to visit the laboratory.

The four members of the research team and she were the only ones who were brought home by the company driver.

When Jess stepped inside the study that  Dr. Sison will be using, her jaws dropped on the floor. The room was magnificent. One side of the room was covered with books on a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf.

Couches and armchairs were in deep brown leather. A huge oak desk was on the right side of the room. And there was also a six-seater table near the window. Jess was imagining that the long table would be covered with papers the moment Dr. Sison started using this room.

Aadir stood near the door as she looked around the room. He didn't say anything about the room.

After seeing the room, she turned to Aadir and told him that she would return to her room and take a rest.

"Do you want me to bring you something to drink?"

"Oh, that would be nice. Can I ask for some coffee?"

"Yes, yes! There should be a coffee maker in your room but there was a delivery problem, we ordered two but only one arrived," he said, regrets were in his voice. "So, I will prepare your coffee in the kitchen using the old method. I hope it's fine."

She laughed softly at how Aadir looked so eager to serve her, "Thank you, Aadir. That's very nice of you."

He smiled brightly when he heard what she said. He opened the door of her room and bowed down. "I will come back with your coffee within fifteen minutes."

She smiled at him and entered her room. The moment the door closed behind her back she pulled her phone from her pocket. There was no message from Noah.

She took a photo of her room and sent them to him. She sat down on the reading nook and waited for his text or call, and got none.

Jess regretted teasing Noah with Markus's photo. She only did it because she was jealous when June told her that Markus and Noah were known to play around with girls.
