"You're full of bullshit!"

She just laughed and drank her pina colada as she watched Jess march inside the villa. She put down her drink and sighed. She wanted to be honest to Jess but as she was telling the story she felt like she was not in the position to tell her those stories so she ended up bullshitting her.

She twisted the truth with some lies and wished to God that in the future Jess won't hate her for not telling the actual truth.

She went inside the villa to use the bathroom and to get away from Ellise for she has this strong urge to whoop her for telling her such a stupid rumor and making it sound like it was some kind of hidden information that the FBI would knock on her door in the middle of the night and put her into an interrogation room!

She doesn't care about the story of Nicole cheating with her husband's best friend, nor she is interested in Noah's drinking habit - something she wasn't sure if it is really a problem, since he didn't get drunk when they had dinner at Matsugen before. She remembered Noah taking just one shot of sake and that was it.

What's shocking to hear was the rumor that Nicole cheated on Noah with his best friend. That's just sick! But with how Nicole was acting in Noah's apartment and how Nicole got full custody of their daughter, she knew that Ellise was just playing her.

Why would Noah let his ex-wife get full custody of Lucille if she cheated on their marriage? That was just crazy and stupid. She knew how Noah loved his daughter. He wouldn't give up his right to custody with his child.

She was on the way back to the balcony when Luke entered the main door.

"Hello there, Little Miss Jessie! I didn't expect you to be up and about, looking mighty fine at this time of the day."

"Why you have so much energy this early in the morning is beyond me." she shook her head and turned her back on him to return to her sunbathing.

"It's not early!"

"This time of the day is considered early when you are on vacation."

"Well, speaking of being on vacation, are you guys going to spend your vacation lying down here, just looking at those glorious men on the beach and not join them for some fun?"

"I don't have the energy to act dumb."

Luke raised his eyebrow at what Jess said.

She just curled the corner of her lips into a sneer. "I'm having a good time here. Thank you!"

"Wow! I didn't expect you to be the kind of person who does nothing fun on a vacation."

"I don't have a vacation to have fun. I take a vacation to laze around. That's what vacation means in my dictionary."

"Unbelievable!" he turned to Ellise and asked, "Are you fine with this?"

"I don't like it when men talk to me," she said blatantly.

He was lost for words with what these two were saying. "Well, since we are already here, let's do something fun for once!" He clapped his hands enthusiastically. He was acting like a mother convincing her introverted - in the case of these two - snobbish kids, that going out and being with other people could be fun!

Ellise glanced at Jess, "What do you think, Jess?"

"I'm hungry. I want food."

Luke rolled his eyes so high that his eyeballs were gone far back in his socket, and his eyes were nothing but white.

"Oh! The Greek salad was the bomb in one of the hotel restaurants. Also, their honey lemongrass grilled chicken was to die for!"

"Let's go there and have early lunch." When she saw the disappointment in Luke's eyes, she added, "We can discuss hanging out with boys later after I have food in my belly. You know I can't be hangry!"

"Fair enough."

The trio left the hotel to have brunch in the restaurant that Ellise recommends. Along the way, Luke and Jess kept on bickering as always.

She felt her phone vibrate in her straw beach tote bag as she was wise-assing her way out of a stupid debate with Luke. She checked her phone to see who was calling. She turned off her phone when she saw it was Noah.

After having more than eight hours of calls with him which she has no memory of except for the part where she flirted with him when she was under the influence of alcohol. She has no idea how she could talk to Noah after that!

Come to think of it, with all the stupid things she did while she was drunk, it would seem like she was the one with an alcohol problem and not Noah. She cringed deep inside when she remembered the 'I'm not terrible in bed' voicemail she sent to him in the past.

"Listen here, Little Miss Jessie. Vacations are for doing fun things, interacting with new people, and making stupid decisions you might regret later, but have a good laugh after."

"Vacations are for doing nothing. You take a vacation to get away from your job or your work. Why would you do things that would tire you out when you are on vacation? Also, I don't like meeting new people, and I have enough stupid decisions in my life, to the point, it's no longer funny."

"Ugh! You are such a stubborn bitch!"

"Why are you shoving down my throat your idea of a vacation?" she clicked her tongue on him.

"Maybe because we are on this vacation together. Duh?" He turned to Ellise who was walking with them but never once gave her opinion with the ongoing debate. "What is your idea of a vacation?"

"Hmm, I never think about it. But I would say vacation is fine as long as nobody pisses me off." She gave Luke a sweet smile.

He rolled his eyes and threw his hands on the air in mock surrender. "You two are just hopeless! If I look as hot as you two, I would have all those boys run amok after my ass!"
