It was their job to vanquish these creatures and clear the path for the travelers and guests.
However, most of the time, this task was entrusted to Medusa or Alice. Madoka rarely helped unless the opponent was a half-step deity.
"Don't worry, kid. I'll take care of the fool."
Madoka cackled and winked at Xiaomao. As she tried to show off to her master, she volunteered for the job.
She lifted her tentacles and pushed.

With just one push, the giant scylla swam a kilometer instantly. She appeared directly in front of the hydra.
Xiaomao, Undine, and Nymph looked ahead. Although the seafloor was dimly illumined, the trio could clearly see far ahead. They saw how Madoka's countless python tentacles coiled around the hydra's heads and snapped its necks off.
The severed heads soon regenerated, but the python tentacles and wolves overwhelmed them. Within a minute, Madoka's servants devoured the creature alive and ended its life.
One of Madoka's snakes carried crystal that they got from the hydra in its mouth. She rushed back to Xiaomao to report her achievement right away.
"Master, I've found the hydra's heart for you."
The crystal was at least five meters tall. As for its diameter, Xiaomao roughly guessed that it should be about the same size as its height. The snake spat the crystal and twitched its tongue.
Xiaomao gazed at the crystal, hoping to check its detail and status.

Suddenly, a global announcement distracted Xiaomao and everyone nearby.
