Chapter 362 – Cat Dad's Father Is Not Impressed
Meowmeow had installed an alarm system for the dungeon in case intruders managed to find the dungeon's teleportation platforms. Even though the platforms were camouflaged as regular floor tiles, it was possible for players or intruders to stumble upon them by chance and accidentally activate it.
Whenever this occurred, everybody in the monitor room on every floor would hear a loud alarm and a siren. All lights in the console rooms would turn red, and the teleportation platforms would always automatically shut down.

As Mao Miaomiao stood on a teleport platform, which was hidden in the middle of the maze below the shallow water, the entire floor turned red.
Although Mao Miaomiao had shapeshifted into the war maiden, the security system of the dungeon didn't recognize him. It sent a loud alarm throughout the B1 level.
Consoles on every monitor room in the dungeon repeatedly spoke the lines and turned on sirens. However, as everyone was busy preparing for the next event, only a few staff members stayed on watch duty.
In one of the monitor rooms, a metal mannequin was there alone. She gazed at the CCTV monitor and found the culprit. But upon seeing a war maiden on the platform, she was confused.
"Bad? (Scarlet Ant?)
The mannequin scratched her head.
"Bad. Bad? Bad? (It's just one of the ants. Why the alarm? Is this a random drill?)"
As ant queens never stopped laying eggs, countless inexperienced or clueless ant girls often roamed the dungeon's top floors. Sometimes, they triggered the local traps or alarms by accident.
Warning sirens were uncommon, but the security officers in the monitor rooms got used to the false alarms, caused by these robotic ant girls. The metal mannequin shut down the siren and got back to her seat, lazing and dozing off on duty.
Other security officers in the other monitor rooms also noticed Mao Miaomiao, but they had the same idea – Everybody believed that the ant in the CCTV camera might have broken something on the platform. Thus, everybody turned off the siren and recorded the incident as a drill siren. In addition, they also registered the ant girl in the monitor as one of their comrades so that the dungeon wouldn't trigger the alarm again.

As all monitor rooms unanimously shut down the alarm, the wallpaper on the B1 level returned to normal, and the teleportation platforms were reactivated.

Mao Miaomiao flinched when the wallpaper of the maze turned red. He paced his breath and prepared for a siege combat against multiple immortals in the dungeon.
Betraying his expectation, the dungeon quickly reverted to normal. The red wallpaper reverted to yellow, and the ominous aura faded.
'Huh? It's that easy? I thought the dungeon was more sophisticated than that. Even Brocell's dungeon was a lot more threatening.'
Mao Miaomiao was disappointed in the dungeon's security system. He compared the living dungeon of a protagonist with Xiaomao's dungeon, and the quality, traits, and threats to outsiders were like night and day.
Brocell was the name of a dungeon master protagonist that Mao Miaomiao had murdered in his previous life. That man's dungeon was smaller than Xiaomao's. His minions were also weaker than Xiaomao's subordinates.
However, Brocell, as a dungeon master, was more resourceful and experienced than Xiaomao for sure. That protagonist's entire dungeon was his domain ability, and he could simply devour anyone inside his domain if the intruders weren't careful. Mao Miaomiao's subordinates once raided the dungeon and failed to kill Brocell. But after Mao Miaomiao mastered the karma severing techniques, he easily vanquished the crafty man and destroyed his soul, cutting his chance of reincarnating to the new world eternally.
'Now, I kinda regret it. The game worlds would have been a lot more interesting with that guy's perverted dungeon around. I miss that Stuck-In-Wall trap. I bet all male players would have fallen for that silly trap.'
