Forgotten Promise.

(*Celia’s POV*)

Well, that was an uncomfortable movie experience. Yona profusely apologized to me, saying that she completely forgot about the sex scene. I wasn’t really keen on seeing two of my mother’s going at it, but at least the sex scene was artsy enough to justify it.

Back to the more important things, Leretia is now ours, and every other kingdom agrees with us taking it over. Frankly, we actually didn’t even need it. But having the land was a pretty good asset, so we decided to rule over it as well.

Solia had no responsibilities, so she was given and accepted the task of overseeing that kingdom from now on. The first step on her agenda was dealing with all of the rampant corruption within Leretia.

The nobles hated the changes but the common people praised us greatly for them. Anyone who profited from the corruption was also angered, and pretty much all of them left for greener pastors.

Or rather, a kingdom where they can continue to be corrupt. Not like we care about them, so we just let them leave in peace. It took less than a month to turn the bed of corruption that was Leretia, into a very good and fair kingdom.

Enough about all that! Now I have an interesting problem on my hands… You see, news of my exploits has made it to pretty much every kingdom. Including our own.

What came of it, was people at the academy treating me differently. There wasn’t anyone stupid enough to think that they could easily win my hand in marriage anymore.

Which is good, I know. But the problem is that barely anyone wants to associate with me at all. Ria did some snooping, and it’s not because people are scared of me. It’s more like they highly respect me, and do not want to waste my time.

Fuck… It seems my plan to have good friends isn’t going to come true. No. Lia and Nia don’t count, as they’re my girlfriends. With a sad disposition, I went along with my classes for the day. Solia still teaches us, but only occasionally.

Though since Solia is basically a queen, we still get credit for her classes, even if she doesn’t actually do them. What fun! As she teaches both combat and magic, most of the other classes are kinda mundane. As I walked along the halls of the academy alone, I was jump scared by a ghost…

Mena: “Celia! You lied! It’s been so long since I’ve last seen you! Why haven’t you laid me to rest yet!?” She yelled.

Oh fuck… I totally and utterly forgot about dealing with Mena… Oops? To be fair, I had a lot on my plate lately… Though, I still do feel bad about forgetting my promise to her…

Celia: “Ah, I’m sorry, Mena. I’ve had to deal with a lot of things lately, so helping you slipped my mind.” I say with a remorseful tone and expression.

Mena: “Fine… I’m not that upset.” She said with a pout.

Celia: “Wait… I should have fixed the future, why are you still a ghost? Shouldn’t you have lived, since the world wasn’t destroyed?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Mena: “The world was destroyed? Ah, is that what originally happened? For this me, some shitty noble pushed me out a window, which ended up killing me.” She said with a thinking pose.

Celia: “Well, I am sorry that happened. Is there any way for me to get back, or rather, forward in time just enough for me to save you?” I ask with a curious tone.

Mena: “Depends on if you’re willing to stay in that time period forever.” She replied.

Celia: “Is there truly no way for me to save you, and come back to my time?” I ask.

Ria: “Why bother going into the future? She just needs a vessel, and then she can live again in this time.” She proposed.

Mena: “Holy hell! Who the heck are you? And why did you just pop up out of nowhere!? I am a ghost, that should be my job, not yours!” She exclaimed with a shocked expression.

Ah, so even ghost girls can make cute reactions, huh? What fun! I need to bribe Ria to do this more, so I can see more reactions from other girls…

Ria: “Your intentions are noted, Celia. Anyway, I’m just someone close to Celia. I am also a very powerful Goddess.” She replied with a giggle.

Celia: “Ria, getting her a vessel, would imply ripping someone’s soul out of their body, right?” I ask with a serious tone.

Ria: “That it does, but I am sure that finding some horrible person to replace, wouldn’t be too hard, you know.” She replied.

Mena: “Are you actually going to help me like this? I played it off pretty well, but Celia, I did in fact try to kill you…” She said with a remorseful tone.

Celia: “I already know that, do you think that I am stupid, or something? Anyway, because you brought me into the future, you allowed me to save my mothers and my wives, so you’re already forgiven in my mind.” I reply.

Mena: “I see… I still do not think that I deserve such a gift, though…” She said with a sad tone.

Celia: “Then find some way to make it up to me after you start your new life here.” I say with a laugh.

Ria: “Shall I look for a vessel for her, Celia?” She asked.

Celia: “Sure, but good luck with that.” I reply.

Girl Who Popped Out of Nowhere: “Um… I might know of where you can get a vessel.” She proposed.

Holy fuck! Who the hell are you?! I was so shocked, I almost completely quoted Mena word for word… An Elf I have never seen before was now standing before us.

Her long blond hair went down to her waist, and she looked to be quite the beauty. Interestingly, she was also tall, like, super tall. She towered over all of us with great ease.

Well, I am just joking a little bit. But she was at least a head taller than Ria, who is a head taller than me. Wait… What the hell did she say? That she knew of a vessel? Why would she know of something like that?

Besides, did she eavesdrop on our entire conversation? Look, even Ria was shocked when the Elf girl spoke up. Either she has some very good information to give us, or she will be my downfall. Either way, she is cute, so I look forward to the information that she wants to provide us!
