My Wife Needs Help!

(*Celia’s POV*)

The rest of the lieutenants were easy peasy to finish off. Unfortunately, by the time I did so, panic spread across their military. How much panic? Well, I couldn’t kill the last two on my list.

Not because they went into hiding, or anything like that. It’s just because Admiral York returned to Crenatia for a very specific reason. How specific? Oh, he just decapitated the king for us, and presented his head to us as well.

With that, Crenatia’s only choice was to surrender. Annoyingly, this first takeover was boring as all hell! They didn’t even give me a challenge at all. I know that I shouldn’t complain, but I am bored…

Kuria: “Celia… I asked for you help in this war, not to complete it for me…” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “Hey, I only did most of what you asked. How is this my fault?” I reply with a pout.

Kuria: “Celia, I asked you to rush into enemy lines and take the heads of important military members. What I didn’t ask for was for you to do it in complete and utter silence.” She replied in a slightly annoyed tone.

Celia: “Oh… was that a bad idea?” I ask with a head tilt.

Kuria: “It wasn’t a bad idea, but it was just far too efficient.” She replied.

Celia: “How so?” I ask.

Kuria: “Crenatia and its people think that we have an evil demon on our side.” She answered.

Celia: “Oops?…” I say with a forced head tilt.

Kuria: “Celia, please go help someone else. I do appreciate your help, but I don’t really need it. Maybe you should go help one of your wives?” She proposed.

Celia: “Are any of them in need of my help?” I ask with a serious tone.

Kuria: “Nia is fine, but Lia is getting pushed back.” She replied.

Celia: “Alright, I’ll head over to help Lia then.” I reply with a hurried tone.

Kuria: “Have fun.” She said with a laugh.

If Lia was in need of my help, then how can I just sit around and do nothing? Answer, I literally can’t! As such, I rushed out of Kuria’s tent and flew to where Lia was fighting.

Now that I think about it, my flying speed is far faster than it was before… I guess it’s due to my increase in Stats? Whatever the answer is, at least I could reach Lia in a short amount of time.

As my arrival was absolutely unannounced, the knights in Lia’s camp were spooked and they all drew out their weapons. Luckily, my face was super known by almost everyone in my kingdom. This event ended up with them apologizing to me profusely. Though one of them didn’t. And, of course, it was a familiar face.

Juni: “It’s good to see you again, Princess Celia.” She said with a joking bow.

Celia: “Oh? So you actually managed to join our military? Good job.” I say with a smile.

Juni: “I assume that you’re here to help out your wife?” She asked.

Celia: “That would be correct, yes.” I reply.

Juni: “Your wife is a very good commander. As for why we’re being pushed back, that is because, unlike our rumored demon, which I am sure is just you, they actually have one.” She explained.

Celia: “Demon? Aren’t we demons, though?” I ask with a head tilt.

Juni: “I’m a human, remember? Anyway, your kind are called demons, but you really aren’t. What I was referring to are actual real demons. Supposedly from hell.” She answered.

Celia: “Hmm… I see.” I say with a thinking pose.

After chatting some more with Juni, I headed inside of Lia’s tent. Lia was peering intently at a map on her table. I peeked over her shoulder to get a look at it.

For this war, we decided to prioritize to have as little casualties as possible. That went for civilians, and all the militaries involved in this war. The kingdom that Lia has to take over, Yusador, didn’t care about that at all.

To them, victory was all that mattered. Whatever Amora promised them must have been very enticing. As they easily sacrifice their own people to summon a demon. Not only that, but they let the demon consume whatever soldier it wants. Including their own. How stupid…

Celia: “This demon sounds like a tricky foe, Lia.” I say after I hug her from behind.

Lia: “Celia!? Don’t scare me like that… And yeah, it is a super annoying monster.” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “Shall your oh so wonderful wife, me, deal with it for you?” I propose.

Lia: “I’d hate giving you all the work, so please JUST kill the demon, and leave the rest for me to deal with.” She agreed.

Celia: “What if they summon another demon?” I ask.

Lia: “They aren’t able to. Amora’s forces were the ones who summoned the demon for them. As this kingdom was the only one that was fine with killing their own people, all of Amora’s summoners left the battlefield.” She answered.

Celia: “Summoners? Isn’t that a highly despised job? Why would the Elves hire people like that?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Lia: “I know, even Viva was surprised to learn of this. Something more is happening to Amora and her kingdom. We just have to figure out what when we get there.” She said with a thinking pose.

Celia: “Yeah, probably some evil force is controlling her. Well, that is just a guess. Anyway, I shall go deal with that demon for you.” I say before giving her a kiss on her cute lips.

All of my wives deserve my kisses, after all. Her blushed reaction was just the cherry on top! With a happy mood, I left her tent and flew in the direction of where that demon was last spotted in.

It might be a demon, but surely it’s something that I can handle, right? No. I did not just jinx myself. You’re being ridiculous. Now watch how I easily deal with this shitty demon just because my wife asked me to do so!

*Some Time Later.*

Well… I wasn’t wrong about easily dealing with the demon. But I wasn’t at all prepared for this entire thing to be a trap… As my new world is one that burns greatly, I already long for the touch of my wives…
