IllyasArt Hello! This is my latest novel! Unlike my other novels, this one isn't finished yet. The first volume is finished, though. And you can buy it on Amazon here. If you would be so kind, you can also get the first volume(and anything else I've made.) on my Patreon for donating $10 or over that, here. If you wish for updates, the $10 and over tiers will give you access to chapters when I actually finish them. (Maybe one a day? Idk, as I will be mainly working on other novels as well. But, there will at least be one new chapter every few days.)

Chapter 61: Weird Girl.

*Celia’s POV*

Ignoring the daggers that Lia was staring at the woman with, she just continued to eat with us. Hello? Are you going to say anything?…

Strange Girl: “You’re Celia, correct?” She asked.

Celia: “I am, and who might you be?” I ask back.

Strange Girl: “I am your future wife, Orphenia of the Palania family.” She said with a confident tone.

Future wife!? I don’t even know you!? Ah, now Lia looks like she is about to kill this Orphenia girl… Ria, a little help here?

Ria: “That girl is dreadful…” She said with a serious tone.

Dreadful in what way? She just looks like a normal girl to me… And a cute one at that…

Ria: “She is a reborn Death Goddess. Don’t upset her, I shall have a chat with her.” She said with a grim tone.

Uh oh… that can’t be good… Ah, Ria is walking over here now… What is she going to do? She won’t start a fight between Goddesses right here in this cafeteria, right?…

Ria: “You claim to be my Lady’s future wife, but she does not know you, nor has any engagement been talked about.” She said with an angry tone.

Lia: “That’s right! Celia looked to be just as confused as us!” She added.

Orphenia: “Of course, she doesn’t know me, as we have never met before. But, she will still be my wife, though, if you two are also interested in her, I won’t mind you two marrying her as well.” She said with a smile.

What is this girl even smoking!? And can I have some perhaps? Nah, I’ve never been a smoker anyway. But, why is she saying any of this?

Celia: “Orphenia, you’re causing a scene. What even is the point of saying all of this to us?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Orphenia: “I am just stating the facts.” She replied with a nonchalant tone.

Celia: “You know, I lived in a forest for most of my life. Where could you have even heard about me?” I ask with a curious tone.

Orphenia: “To explain that, I would have to ruin some fun for another person. As such, I shall leave it to your imagination. As I have said my piece, I shall leave for now. Good day, you all.” She said with a bow, before walking away.

Well… that was weird? Orphenia… what an interesting, and beautiful girl! Her velvet colored hair that went down to her knees, and her eyes were the same color, were very eye-catching. Her breasts were pretty big as well…

Lia: “Celia… please do not be seduced by a random girl.” She said with an annoyed tone.

Celia: “Can you really blame me? That girl was weird, but at least she was quite cute.” I reply with a shrug.

Lia: “…”

Ria: “I’ll have that girl investigated, rest assured.” She whispered into my ear, to which I replied with a nod.

After that whole event, I kinda wanted to skip class, but Lia and I still attended our last class of the day. You know, this academy kinda has low requirements… I feel like there should at least be a few required classes. Otherwise, you end up like Lia and me, who only have three classes.

The second magic class was much the same, with just higher level concepts. Nothing of use for me, and probably nothing of use for Lia as well. Do I even have to attend these classes? I think that I accidentally read ahead, at least in magic class…

Once class was over, we walked back to our house. Lia seemed to still be upset about what happened while we were at the cafeteria. When we entered our home, Lia was about to walk off, probably to her room.

Celia: “Lia?” I ask.

Lia: “Sorry, I think that I will go to bed early today.” She said with a sad tone.

Celia: “Wait, I have something important to tell you.” I say with a serious tone.

Lia: “Important?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Celia: “Yes, I can use a System.” I say with a proud tone.

Lia: “Celia… your jokes won’t cheer me up.” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “I’m not joking, though? See, watch.” I say before using inspect on her.

Wow… she is pretty strong, and I can see way more information than usual… Did the Inspect skill get a boost? Ruina? Care to answer this for me?

Ruina: “It didn’t. If you haven’t noticed, you got the same amount of information from Yona’s and Amelie’s Statuses. The level is basically meaningless, and it truly depends on how much information a soul has.” She explained.

Celia: “So, basic monsters won’t give that much detail when I inspect them?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Ruina: “Correct.” She replied.

Okay, that is good to know. Hm? Lia seemed to be in shock… I guess she actually did notice me peep at her Status?

Lia: “What was that?” She asked with a nervous tone.

Celia: “I just used the Inspect skill on you.” I answer.

Lia: “Inspect? Skill? What are you talking about?” She asked with a confused tone and expression on her face.

Ria: “Explaining would be annoying, and take too long… Lady Railia, I shall just give you the information directly into your mind.” She said with a sigh, before placing her hand on Lia’s head.

She looked to be in slight pain, but then she started to do a thinking pose.

Lia: “So… that is why Amelie took you in, even when you can’t use magic.” She said with an excited tone.

Celia: “Yes, though, only a few people know about this.” I say.

Lia: “Of course, I won’t tell anyone! Thank you for trusting me with this!” She said with a bright smile.

Celia: “Would you like for me to detail your Status?” I ask.

Lia: “I would love that. Ah, so many people would start wars just to have their Status explained.” She said with an even more excited tone.

I had Ria hand me some paper, and an ink pen, then I wrote out her Status as displayed by the System. Lia looked at it for a decent while.

Lia: “Might I know yours?” She asked with a curious tone.

Mine? I haven’t checked in a bit… What does mine look like right now? Well, it’s not like it’s that much of a hassle to look at it. So, I did just that.

Yup, nothing has changed, except for my MP actually showing up. Which is pretty cool! Anyway, I then wrote out my Status for Lia to look at. Oddly, she was even more interested in my Status than her own…

Lia: “And what of Ria’s Status… Never mind, forget that I asked.” She said with a curious tone, before Ria glared at her.

Celia: “Let’s just say that she is far more powerful than you would think.” I say with a giggle.

Lia: “Right…” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “Come to think of it, I haven’t given you a mini dungeon core just yet.” I say, before taking one out of my pouch, and handing it to her.

Lia: “Celia… you would trust me with your dungeon?” She asked with an unsure expression.

Celia: “That dungeon is more like a pet project to me. Besides, telling you about my System was far more important than giving you access to my dungeon.” I reply with a shrug.

Lia: “That is true… Thanks again for trusting me this much! But I really need to get some sleep after all of these reveals…” She said with a yawn.

Celia: “Of course, do sleep well, Lia.” I say with a warm tone.

Oddly, Lia blushed greatly, and then ran away, most likely to her own room. If I was a stupid teenager, I wouldn’t think anything of it. But since I have the mind of an adult, I think that Lia actually has feelings for me… What the heck!?…
