Kyle couldn't shake the feeling that he was on the brink of something extraordinary. It was the dawn of a new school year, and his final chapter at the University of Chicago. The campus buzzed with excitement as students bustled around, anticipation hanging in the air like a tangible energy.

With each step, Kyle's heart raced a little faster, his mind fixated on the alluring figure of Chelsea, a girl he had known since their high school days. She had seemingly transformed overnight, evolving from a familiar face into a captivating presence that commanded his attention. She was no longer just a friend from the past; she had become a goddess, a siren who had seized his attention like a spell he couldn't escape. Yet, he couldn't ever muster the courage to bridge the gap between them. Despite his admiration for her over the years, it would seem that she was now way out of his league.

He leaned against a dormitory wall, his gaze drawn inexorably to her. Her allure was undeniable, and her once-ordinary features now held an otherworldly charm. A flush crept up his cheeks as his eyes strayed, his thoughts spiraling into forbidden territory at the tantalizing hints of her beauty.

He stared longingly at her plump breasts.

Where had those beauties come from?

Last year she was about as average looking as any of the other girls, but somehow she had blossomed over the summer break.

Amidst the throng of students, a familiar voice disrupted his trance. "Hey, Kyle!" It was his best friend, Jake, approaching with a grin that mirrored the mischievous spark in his eyes.

Kyle turned his attention to Jake, managing a sheepish grin. "Hey, man."

Jake chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Staring much? You're practically undressing her with your eyes."

Kyle's cheeks burned, embarrassment washing over him. "I wasn't... I mean, I wasn't—"

"Relax, dude." Jake laughed, clapping him on the back. "You're not the only one who's noticed Chelsea's transformation. But trust me, if you keep ogling her like that, she's gonna think you're a total perv."

Kyle's cheeks burned brighter, and he glanced back at Chelsea, who was engrossed in conversation with a group of friends. "Can't help it, she's just... different this year."

Jake arched an eyebrow, his playful grin still in place. "Different? You've been saying that for years, man. How long have you wanted to approach her?"

Kyle let out a sheepish laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. "Too long to count, honestly. But now, it's like she's even more unapproachable than before. She's got this whole aura around her."

Jake leaned against the locker next to Kyle's, his expression thoughtful. "Yeah, she's got that 'queen bee' vibe going on, right? But hey, you're not the same guy you were freshman year. You've changed too."

Kyle nodded, his gaze still fixed on Chelsea. "True, but that doesn't mean I suddenly have the ability to charm her with my words."

Jake chuckled. "You underestimate yourself. Plus, it's senior year. It's now or never, my friend."

Kyle's frustration mounted. "Yeah, right. As if she'd ever notice me in the first place. She's way out of my league now."

Jake regarded him with a mixture of amusement and sympathy. "Come on, man. Give yourself some credit. You guys went to high school together, right? She's gotta remember you."

Kyle scoffed, a touch of bitterness seeping into his tone. "Yeah, maybe. But even if she does, what would she remember me as? The scrawny guy who was always getting beat up?"

"Were you?" Jake chuckled. "I wouldn't know. I didn't know you back then."

"Well, now you know." Kyle sighed, his frustration growing.

As the students bustled around, heading to their morning courses, the two friends began their walk to class. Amidst the crowd, the promise of a new chapter beckoned, and Kyle couldn't help but feel that this year held the potential for the extraordinary he had always yearned for.

The campus food court bustled with the lively chatter of students and the clinking of utensils. Kyle navigated the array of food options, his senses heightened as he considered his choices for lunch. After purchasing a meal from one of the various restaurants, he scanned the area for an available seat. In a corner nearby, he found an open spot, granting him a clear view of the food court.

As he settled into his seat and began to enjoy his lunch, his eyes inadvertently wandered to a commotion on the other side of the food court. His heart quickened when he saw Chelsea walking in, accompanied by a group of friends who hung onto her every word. The aura of admiration around her was undeniable, as if she had become the center of attention.

Kyle couldn't help but watch her from afar, captivated by the effortless grace with which she moved. His thoughts drifted to the countless times he had imagined striking up a conversation, but each attempt had fizzled out in his mind. It was as if the idea of actually speaking to her was both tantalizing and terrifying.

As Chelsea and her friends settled at a nearby table, Kyle's fingers tapped nervously on the edge of his tray. He stole glances in her direction, his internal battle between desire and self-doubt playing out beneath the surface. He knew that the longer he hesitated, the harder it would become to muster the courage he needed.

Jake's voice interrupted his reverie, snapping him back to the present. "Earth to Kyle! You look like you're in another world. What's got your attention?"

Kyle blinked and turned to Jake, his cheeks tinged with a flush of embarrassment. "Oh, nothing. Just... daydreaming, I guess."

Jake raised an eyebrow, a knowing grin on his face. "Daydreaming? About a certain someone?"

Kyle's shoulders slumped slightly, and he chuckled in resignation. "Yeah, you caught me. It's just... Chelsea. I've wanted to talk to her for so long, but now she's like this whole different person, and I don't know if I can—"

"Hey, slow down," Jake interjected. "I get it, man. But look, you've got to take a shot at some point. You'll never know until you try."

Kyle nodded, his gaze flickering back to Chelsea's table. "You're right. I know I should. It's just... nerve-wracking."

Jake followed Kyle's gaze, nodding knowingly. "Yeah, I get it. But remember, you're not alone in this. We're in the final chapter, right? Time to make some bold moves."

Kyle chuckled, but his gaze still lingered on Chelsea. "Bold moves, huh? Easier said than done."

Jake grinned and nudged Kyle playfully. "Well, how about a little encouragement? Let's make a bet. If you go talk to her before the end of the week, I owe you a pizza night. If you don't, then you treat me. Deal?"

Kyle chuckled, feeling a mixture of anxiety and determination. "Deal. But if she blows me off, you owe me a whole pizza, extra toppings."

Jake laughed. "You've got it, my friend. Now come on, finish your lunch and gear up for the challenge of your life."

Amidst the bustling campus food court, Kyle drew in a deep breath, his heart quickening with a blend of apprehension and exhilaration. With Jake by his side and the promise of a pizza night hanging in the balance, he felt a surge of determination. This moment held the potential to transform his daydreams into reality, and he was determined not to let it slip away.

He directed his gaze back toward Chelsea, his heart aching with a longing he couldn't quite shake. Her gorgeous dark hair cascaded in curls down her back. He imagined running his hands through her hair with one hand, while cupping one of those gorgeous breasts with the other. An uncomfortable pressure began to build in his pants, and he quickly adjusted himself.

"How do you do it?" Kyle muttered under his breath with his gaze still transfixed.

"Do what?"

"You know… it." Kyle whispered.

"You're gonna have to be more specific."

"You know what I'm talking about." Kyle broke his gaze again and gave his friend a sheepish look, "How do you convince a girl to… erm… to… you know…"

"To have sex with you?" Jake stated bluntly, "Are you telling me that you turned twenty-three last week, and you're still a virgin?!"

"Shh!" Kyle's eyes darted around to make sure nobody had heard.

Jake stared at him incredulously, "You're kidding."

Kyle hung his head low.

"Dude." Jake shook his head, "What about that girl from two summers ago that you told me all about?"

"I made it up."

Jake raised an eyebrow, "What would possess you to do that?"

Kyle sighed, "What did you expect me to do? You're always bragging about your different 'conquests' all the time! I didn't want you to think I was a loser."

Jake started busting up laughing, and a few heads turned in their direction.

"I'm getting out of here."

Kyle stood awkwardly, holding his food tray just low enough to conceal the bulge in his pants. Just the mere mention of the word 'sex' was causing him a mild erection. As he walked however, the pressure forced the swelling to slowly calm so that by the time he reached the tray conveyor belt he was able to resume a regular gait.

Jake ran up behind him and followed him out to the hallway, "Hey, sorry man. I didn't mean to laugh."

"Whatever."

"No, I mean it. I wasn't laughing at you, per se. I was laughing about your comment about my so-called conquests." He chuckled, "Seriously, man. I've only been with two girls, and they've both been one-night stands."

It was Kyle's turn to raise an eyebrow, "What?"

Jake nodded.

"But what about…"

"All of my other experiences were in-game."

Kyle stared blankly at him.

"Dude!" Jake elbowed him, "You seriously need to get out more."

"I'm afraid I don't understand."

"I've been telling you for years that you need to get yourself a haptic pod. You don't know what you're missing out on."

"Yeah, right. Like I could ever afford one." Kyle scoffed, "Those things are like five thousand dollars apiece!"

"You can use my old one." Jake smiled, "I just picked up a new one last week."

"Of course you have a spare unit." Kyle rolled his eyes, "Your parents are loaded!"

Jake chuckled. "Yeah, well, they're hardly ever home, so I have my ways. Guilt is a powerful motivator."

"Thanks for the offer, but let's be honest. Where would I keep it? I just have a small dorm room that I have to share with my annoying roommate."

"No worries. You can keep it at my place in my game room."

Kyle sighed, his curiosity piqued despite himself. "Fine, I'll give it a shot."

"Great!" Jake clapped him on the back. "After school, come over to my place. I'll introduce you to Coven Online." He smiled wickedly, "If you want to learn how to get girls in bed with you, that game is a great training ground. Maybe you'll learn a thing or two about the art of seduction."
