Ye Fan was distracted for a moment, then she realized that He Han had been watching her reaction.

Ye Fan forced herself to calm down. She couldn’t show a strange side of herself to He Han.

At this moment, He Han was standing in the doorway wearing a black shirt with the cuffs unbuttoned.

The sleeves were casually drawn up, revealing his lean arms.

Ye Fan could feel his strong aura just with him standing there quietly.

Out of sight, Ye Fan clenched her hands.

She forced out a smile and nodded to He Han.

After that, Ye Fan quickly turned around.

Dudu was still looking happily at He Han, causing an undetectable frown to crease Ye Fan’s brow.

Ye Fan reached out to hold Dudu tightly in her arms.

Subconsciously, she didn’t want He Han to see Dudu’s face.

She kept reminding herself that she had to make He Han think she was hiding the child from him because she didn’t want him to find out, not because this child had anything to do with him.

She can’t let it be revealed.

Dudu wiggled his body out of Ye Fan’s arms.

He poked out his fluffy head and looked at He Han.

“Uncle!”

Dudu called out to him again.

Ye Fan knew that she couldn’t make it too obvious, so she relaxed her hold on Dudu.

Dudu instantly ran over to He Han.

He looked up, then he took He Han’s hand and pulled him over to Ye Fan.

“Uncle, this is Dudu’s Mama.”

Everything about his mama was great to Dudu, so naturally, he wanted to praise her lots in front of He Han.

“Isn’t my Mama super pretty?”

Dudu looked expectantly at He Han. He loved his Mama, so he wants everyone to think his Mama is great too.

At this moment, Ye Fan stood up, standing in front of He Han.

She had completely covered her calm.

Her face was cool without much emotion showing.

He Han had been watching Ye Fan’s each and every move this whole time.

A trace of a smile floated up He Han’s eyes.

He was clearly responding to Dudu, but he was looking at Ye Fan when he spoke.

“Yes, she’s very pretty.”

He deliberately slowed the speed of his speech each word seeming to drag on.

His voice was neither loud nor soft, but Ye Fan heard him clearly.

For the first time, He Han saw a different expression on Ye Fan’s face.

He couldn’t help but chuckle. “What a coincidence, Ye Fan.”

Ye Fan pursed her lips and did not answer.

When Dudu heard He Han praising Ye Fan, he was so happy that he bounced up and down.

He ran back to Ye Fan and pulled on the hem on Ye Fan’s shirt.

“Mama, Uncle can lift me up!”

Dudu was worried Ye Fan wouldn’t believe him and reached his arms out to He Han.

“Uncle, up!”

He Han was very cooperative and took his eyes off of Ye Fan.

He held Dudu under the armpits and lifted him up.

Dudu’s legs were instantly lifted and he was giggling happily.

He carried Dudu over to the dining table where Dudu had his own child seat.

After sitting down, Dudu waved to Ye Fan.

“Mama, Mama.”

Ye Fan could not hide the complicated emotions in her eyes. Her feet were frozen for a moment, but she walked over to Dudu’s side.

Before coming here, Cheng Ping had invited Ye Fan to stay for dinner.

Since He Han was coming, Cheng Ping wanted to create an opportunity for them.

“Auntie Cheng.” Ye Fan greeted her with a smile.

Dinner was prepared and set out on the table.

Everyone else had already taken their seats. Ye Fan sat next to Dudu while the seat on his other side was empty.

Nobody knew if this was intentional or coincidental.

He Han who arrived last naturally sat on Dudu’s other side.

Dudu was sandwiched between Ye Fan and He Han.

These three looked surprisingly harmonious.

Cheng Ping’s eyes looked over He Han and Ye Fan.

Ye Fan’s reaction when she saw He Han didn’t seem quite right.

What exactly had He Han done?

The air was silent, but Dudu’s sweet voice broke the awkwardness.

“Mama, Dudu is hungry.”
