Mark assigned his thirty stat points to his stats. He put in five points each to Strength, Vitality, Dexterity and Agility bringing them up to twenty. He had basically four times the stats of an ordinary man and that it was even across the board, made him basically a superhero. He thought that maybe he had the physical stats of Spiderman. He really didn’t know how to measure his strength, but it did make him feel good.

Mark felt far cry out from what he felt when he was an obese man. He felt that he could run forever if he wanted to. He could now hike on top of mountains without feeling out of breath but the fact that he could fly made that a moot point. The point was, he was really thankful for how high he felt physically. His asthma was gone, basically all the wrong things on his body were gone.

Since he still had ten stat points, Mark added them to his Wisdom and Intelligence bringing them up from 55 to 60. He now had 1200 MP points and base MP regeneration of 30 MP per five minutes. The increase in his Intelligence brought the spell effect multiplier to twelve times making all his spells more powerful. Now he had zero stat points remaining.

Mark decided to put skill points on his Rune Engineer tree since he might need to demonstrate to the government how to imbue magic to items to cover up his dungeon. He put one point to Fire Rune and one point to Inscribe. The moment he put a point on Fire Rune, a rune made of fire was suddenly embedded in his mind. He basically now knew what the basic Fire Rune looked like and Inscribe gave him the ability to inscribe it on a material. He took a basic wooden rod and an iron ore from his crafting material station where he kept all the crafting materials that came from destroying items. He inscribed the Fire Rune to a rod by using his fingers and MP and the iron ore dissolved on the rune and it basically did… nothing.

Mark saw the mana gather on the rune but once the rune was full, it just stopped gathering mana and just stayed there on the rod doing nothing. He thought that maybe the fire rune would gather the mana and convert it to fire mana, but it still needed something to be used. Maybe another rune or a spell. He decided to put in two more points to Inscribing so he can put a point on Mapping. He also added two more points to the Fire rune so he could put a point on Water Rune and Air Rune. His total skill points now were sixty-six.

After putting more points on the Inscribing skill and one point on Mapping, he now knew what to do to make an outlet rune for the fire mana gathered on the fire rune to be used. He added the water rune to the rod and it allowed  the fire mana from the fire rune to be shaped into small ball and adding air rune to the rod would allow the mana from air rune to shoot the ball of fire to be shot and disperse on contact making the rod become a Rod of Fire Bolt, Mark’s very first crafted item.

Mark Identified his Rod of Fire Bolt that he crafted, and it said that one Fire Bolt had ten damage with five charges that would earn one charge per 30 minutes. Based on the knowledge that he gained when he put points on the Rune Engineer tree, the complexity and power of his crafting would be affected by the points he spent on the Rune Engineer Skill tree and his spell damage effect multiplier based on his Intelligence. The effectiveness of the crafted items would also increase based on the quality of the crafting materials used and Inscribing Equipment he would use which he didn’t know where to get so basically, he was stuck using his fingers first.

Mark also learned that different rune effects could only be achieved by mapping different runes including evolved runes. So basically, based on the points he added on Rune Engineer so far which was the Fire, Water and Air Rune plus Inscribing and Mapping, he had an inkling that Rune Engineer was a crafting profession of a lifetime. He would need to focus on it to become a master, hence, he stopped adding points to it.  The skills that he had right now basically achieved his goal of a cover up for the dungeon items and he couldn’t focus on crafting right now.

Mark did some more experiments. He took a basic leather glove crafting material plus an iron ore that he got from the destroyed dungeon items. He crafted a small air rune on both gloves and when he was about to complete the rune, he added the iron ore to both gloves which promptly dissolved and combined with the gloves. He then added a smaller Fire rune and another smaller Air Rune again. When he Identified it, it said that he was successful in crafting a Lesser Glove of Lightness which had ten defense and ten durability. It also added two to Agility.

Mark made two weapons, the Rod of Fire Bolt, an iron knife that adds to strength and three other basic armor equipment including the first glove that he created. He would need to do some further experimentation if he wanted to learn how to create items with skill and basically the rod that he made was possibly a fluke.

After his crafting experimentation, he turned his attention to the Unidentified Equipment. He managed to upgrade his mage armor set and destroyed the rest for crafting materials. He kept the magic blue items with skill for which there were five. Including the three Legendary Purple items, there were a total of eight items with skills.

The first item that he identified was a magic blue ring which was just a storage ring with 3 cubic meters of storage and would also add four to Intelligence and four wisdom to the holder.  Since only Enleed, Armina and Melissa didn’t have storage equipment, he decided to give it to Enleed first.
