David couldn’t help himself and asked why he did this thing, but Mark just smiled at him and told him that it was private. David just shrugged and left.
After several months of group dungeon diving, Mark’s friends were only able to reach the 17th floor of the dungeon. They wanted to repeat some dungeon floors to farm for some items. He also gave all of his dungeon items to his friends, even the most overpowered ones so basically, he had no dungeon items left with him which really didn’t matter since he could always go back to his dungeon to farm.
After the 22nd floor, Mark didn’t do a solo dive again. He continued playing with his friends, vacationing everywhere they could think of, playing online games, watching movies basically different things that he would cherish once he couldn’t see them anymore. He never met anyone that he could have a relationship with and never bothered since he really didn’t want to hurt anyone once he left and only took pleasure by himself watching action films from Japan.
Mark was glad that they earned a humongous amount of money so that meant his friends would have the financial freedom to do anything they wanted to do with their lives.
He looked at his phone watch and saw that it would only take five more hours before he transmigrated. Mark had already said goodbye to Donald and Elizabeth but didn’t give any specific details and more than likely, they only thought that he would go on a vacation somewhere just like usual. He also gave a lot of dungeon items to Donald and Elizabeth and some of them were truly overpowered this time, he didn’t ask Donald to pay and said it was a gift.

When he said his goodbyes, Albert’s parents thought the same as Donald and Elizabeth, that he would be vacationing somewhere, but Albert knew something was up. Mark just told him to be good and cherish his life, his family, and his friends. Albert suddenly cried, which puzzled his parents and Mark just shrugged indicating that he didn’t know anything.
During the last months, he increased his healing session with the government to thrice a week saying that his powers grew. Yesterday, Mark also flew all over the world casting his Dryad Circle spell everywhere to as many people as he could, and he did it for eight hours straight. He knew that the government would look to him regarding this since the news exploded all over the world that something cured a lot of people of their terminal illnesses, but he didn’t care anymore since he would be gone by then.
Mark was really glad that nothing troublesome appeared to disrupt their lives. No kidnappings to secret government facilities to torture his secrets out of him or something like that.
He also never encountered any other people who were chosen by the system, and it wasn’t really important to him since they would be sent to different worlds anyway.
At around ten in the evening, in the last two hours, Mark called Sam, Armina, and Enleed.
“Why did you call us?” Sam sat on the couch beside Mark. Enleed and Armina sat as well.
“I have something to tell you guys. I gave the house to the three of you. You will need to sign the papers tomorrow with David. I also sent all my money to the three of you and it was a lot so please live well.”
“What’s happening? Why are you doing this?” Armina asked. Enleed was looking at Mark wide-eyed.
“At around midnight, I will disappear. It all started a year ago when I received a system informing me that I would be transported to another world without any possibility of coming back or bringing anyone with me. With the system came the personal dungeon that we had been using.”
Mark looked at his phone.
“So, we have an hour and seven minutes left.”
Armina cried and Enleed was teary-eyed as well.
“Why didn’t you tell us?” Sam asked.
“I wanted to enjoy the last year of my life in here with you guys without that hanging above our heads like the sword of Damocles.”
“Do you know where you will be sent to?” Enleed asked.
“No. The system informed me that there were an unlimited amount of worlds that ranged from the mundane to the truly magical or truly futuristic and I could be sent to any one of them. Don’t be sad for me guys, I’m not dying. I will just go somewhere to do a grand adventure. Yuck, I truly sound like I’m dying or something.” Everyone laughed.
“I just wanted to thank you guys. My life this last year was truly grand. All the adventures that we had was something that I will cherish forever. I felt truly happy. I just wish that all the items that I gave you will be enough to protect you.”
Mark and his friends hugged each other. They spent the last hour of his life on earth talking about their lives and their plans for the future since the dungeon would be gone as well. Mark insisted that they should live their lives as happily as they could. Sam said that finally, he knew why Mark kept on insisting that he should download all the media content that he could. He confessed to his friends that he had a huge inventory and a villa on the 11th floor where he stored most of his things.
Sam asked why he didn’t show them his house on the 11th floor and Armina scolded him and told him a person needed to have a personal place that they didn’t want to share with anybody, and Mark just smiled.
