I start my story with how Diana is able to sense something is wrong with the innkeeper brothers. They suddenly forgot that their little sister ever existed, even when Diana presented them with their little sister's own clothes. That's when Saintess Rumia and Diana realized that they were afflicted by the False Hydra spell, which was further strengthened by THE THING. One thing leads to another, we managed to kill the False Hydra in the dungeon, only to find out that the real body was in the Devil King's castle, and while at the Devil King's castle, we get the information that they wanted to resurrect the Devil King, but were unsuccessful.
"Why would they want to resurrect something so sinister?" [Arthur].
"I haven't told anyone yet, but the reason has to do with Princess Tiara here" [Nar].
"Me?" [Tiara]
"True. Randy, Diana, Nar and I understood immediately when that Marquis said she wanted the princess on her side" [Sas].
"Considering how you're supposed to control the Chimera, it's not a far stretch to say that you're supposed to control the other monster afflicted with THE THING. In fact, we are sure that they wanted you to control the Devil King, which is why they did that" [Randy].
"That's cocky of them... Millions of things can go wrong, and it did" [Savel].
"It's like Diana and I thought, THE THING subconsciously made them resurrect the Devil King. Whether it made them overconfident or something else, only they knew" [Merlin]
It's like Merlin says, they thought they could handle the Devil King and made him obey them without Princess Tiara, and not surprisingly, things didn't go as planned. The shining grace of hope is that the Devil King will be fully resurrected in ten years.
"Miss Witch, if you really are the legendary witch Merlin, how did you defeat the Devil King?" [Ore Forged]
"It wasn't just me, it was Diana and Dana's ancestor Aru, Saintess Maria, the Goddess' favorite daughter at the time, Fairy Queen Titania, and myself. Of course, we gather all the people we can muster and come out on top, but the price is still high" [Merlin].
"So we should just gather more people... Yeah... Impossible... I'm not the smartest tool in the box, but even I can see how difficult it is..." [Dana]
"That is why we are gathered here today. It's like Master said, we need to gather more allies. Fortunately, Princess Siti is already here with us" [Amleth].

"Dwarves. You can't expect that hard-headed Brokkr to talk to the dwarf king, can you? That just leaves me... A former homeless dwarf seeking an audience with the king. Sounds interesting, though" [Oreforged].
"What about the giant? Your little sister Diana has a good relationship with them" [Asterion].

One by one, names and countries are thrown into the discussion. It's not difficult to get the cooperation of the adventuring guild, since most of the influential adventurers were born, raised, and live in Amleth. The lands surrounding the Devil King's Castle shouldn't be a problem either. Even the Church and the Holy Land will surely come to our aid. That just leaves the other countries that are far away and think it's not their problem, the Empire, and a few others.
"Since we wanted allies, how about I gather around the dragon beast for the salin. I'm sure Amleth will welcome them with open arms, considering how generous our queen is" [Savel].
"You flatter me, but aren't the dragonborn mostly laid eggs, no, as a mother myself, I'm sure Salin will be a good thing for them" [Amleth].
