Mirage magic to increase my sense of hearing along with wind magic to carry any sound from far away, and once again I can hear the forest crying, and with it, a weeping sound of the lady sobbing in pain. She keeps repeating an unfamiliar name, but since she kept saying my sons and daughters, I guess it's the name of her children.

Dana suddenly used her Gungnir to impale the head of the snake beastman. This startled me greatly, and she quickly warned the rest of the beastman group that if they did anything funny, especially to me, she would show no mercy. The snake beastman, on his last breath, begs for mercy, but that doesn't stop Dana from killing him as the mother screams in terror. Savel and Elegast seem to know why, and the other seems to know the reason as well, but since I'm so focused on the weeping lady right now, I didn't know why Dana did that.
Knowing that I was lost, Dana explained that the Snake Beastman tried to grab me with the intention of taking me hostage. The snake noticed that I was focused on something else and decided to use me as a means to escape. Dana's explanation gives me goosebumps, I guess I am being careless again. I'm glad that Dana is here to protect me.
Dana apologizes to the mothers of the Dragonewt tribe for showing them a horrible sight when they are in a state of confusion themselves. They know it had to be done, so they accept it, even though they wish they hadn't seen something so terrible.

I wanted to ask the forest, but considering how the Devil King's fire burned everything in its path, I'm sure the forest will be confused as to what happened. At the Dragonewt tribe, the one who's sensitive to heat has started to get heatstroke. They're panting to get rid of the excessive heat. Some used water magic, some used wind magic, and some used ice magic. Since one of the slots of my wand is equipped with a water stone given to me by the Sea Diamond Serpent, I simply cast it at them. Cold water that even makes me and Fie want to play with it. Well, the others and Fie are in the mood, but I can't help but wonder if I've done something wrong to the lady clad in the Devil King's Fire Mana.

I guess for some unusual beasts like Snake, Mantis, and others, ropes aren't much of a problem. Somehow they managed to untie themselves, so Mr. Elegast used a cocoon spell. It's a spell made of a sticky white thing that comes out of a tree, and it envelops them all, like a caterpillar before it becomes a butterfly. It smells disgusting, but it seems to be effective.

"Believe me, this is a nasty spell for the trees... It is like asking you to drain your blood just to keep them in place" [Elegast].
