[Dana point of view]

It's tiring... Since Princess Siti, Saintess Rumia and I are in the same class, the three of us are constantly being approached by everyone when they introduce themselves, and I have to do the same in return. I just gave my name as Dana, but they keep saying, aren't you Dana Vars? They keep telling me to come over to their house for a chat or two.

"I just wanted to go dungeon diving... Or hunt some monsters... Or even beat up some bandits to relieve my stress..." [Dana]

"Poor bandit, will get hit in the head just because a girl couldn't handle all her social interactions." [Princess Siti]

"It can be exhausting, but hang in there." [Liya]

"You're still young to be sighing nonstop. Let us do our best as students so that one day we can look back on the memories and smile" [Saintess Rumia].

"How can I look back and smile when I feel like vomiting right now..." [Dana]

It's only half a day at school and I already feel like running away, I wanted to go home and just fell asleep in my bed. How can this be fun... Sitting and studying, while nice and good for my brain, somehow feels even more exhausting, and to add insult to injury, I mumble and stumble as I am unfamiliar with many topics. I'm glad that stupid Sas has been cramming magic theory into my head, it's one class I seem to have a head start on compared to the others. As for others like history, math, etiquette and many many more to come, Goddess above the sky, please help me...

I'm glad Diana's pulling a string. When I don't even know where my class will be, she says nonchalantly, "I asked Aunt Amleth to put the four of you in one class, so just follow Liya if you're unsure. While I'm grateful since I considers the other three as friends, I can't help but feel that Diana is the one babysitting me instead of the other way around. My pride as her older sister feels like it's being shattered into a million pieces.

Next up is a magic hands-on class. Nice for a change. Since everyone here is already ready, I watch them one by one as they perform a spell they feel confident with.

(Their spell... it's not bad, but... it feels... weak?) [Dana]

This is my first time as an academy student, so I'm not sure how to judge their magic skills and strength. They certainly lacks in all areas. Strength. Speed. Accuracy. Even the complexity of spells. They're all inferior to mine. Of us five siblings, Khamisah and Nar are the ones who can be considered weak in magic, but even they are far better than these students. Of course, they're an SS Rank Adventurer and a Special Knight of Amleth, so it's not a fair consideration, but still.

"You're next" [Liya].

"So I just have to hit the magic doll with any spell I know?" [Dana]

Let's just get this over with. I'm confident in my thunder spell, so

"Roar of Thunder [Dana].

A flurry of lightning strikes the dool. It doesn't even stand a chance. It's a powerful spell that I've been honing all year, and recently, since Sas has been teaching me more about magic, its power and speed have increased drastically.

"The doll! It broke!"

"That's Vars's household for you!"

"Such a great performance! You and your little sister really are a force to be reckoned with"

"I wonder who's stronger in magic, your little sister or you?"

"Hahaha..." [Dana]

"Come on. Answer her. You don't want your classmates to be left with an unanswered question" [Princess Siti].

"Shut up..." [Dana]

It's definitely Diana. I'm sure I won't lose to her when it comes to thunder spells, but when it comes to other spells, there's no way I can beat her. Still, I can't bring myself to tell them. Normally, I would proudly say, "Of course it's my little sister, she's the best. She will become the best magic user in the world one day", but somehow I couldn't. It will feel like my already shattered pride from earlier will be blown to dust if I admit it.

With the class finished, it's finally time for us to go home. We all get ready, some of us already packing our things. Liya wanted to go somewhere she called a club.

Suddenly, the door opens and someone familiar greets us all.

"Oh no, you won't! Greetings my precious little lamb, I am nothing but your humble and weak teacher, and since I have been placed here by your principal to watch over all of you, I will make sure that each of you will have fun during this school year. Now then, I can see that there are still some of you who haven't joined a club, so your first task today is to join one! Make sure you find one that you enjoy, otherwise I will make sure that you wash every bathroom in this school for the whole year" [Merlin]

"Master... Master Merlin!? What are you doing here!?" [Princess Siti]

"Oh no! It's the screw loose teacher!... Ouch! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

"That look painful, the way his hair plucked one by one..."

"Aren't you supposed to be teaching Diana and the others?" [Liya]

"Don't worry, I am nothing but a humble witch, but even I can use an art to split my soul and body to be in two places at the same time" [Merlin].

(Isn't that a forbidden spell...) [Saintess Rumia]
