I was teleported here this morning. Of course, I don't have one. When the guards heard that I didn't have a pass, they wanted to throw me out of the country, but Miss Farhah quickly forbade them, telling them that I was her special guest and would be seeking an audience with the World Tree.
"I'm sorry if this comes out rude, but you can't do that, Ms. Priestess!"
"What will the Council think?"
The guard is rude. They even scolded Miss Farhah. It's like a human scolding Saintess Rumia. Miss Farhah seems like she's used to it, like it's a daily occurrence for her.
As they keep raising their voices to her, I can tell that the forest has become angry with them. Wasps, bees, scorpions, they all gather around the guards menacingly. They tried to sting her, but Miss Farhah quickly ordered the animals to stop. Even the bear tries to pounce on the guard.
"Mr. Bear, you can't do that" [Diana].
"Look at the human child, trying to play elves"
"Disgusting"
"She can freely communicate with the forest, unlike all of you" [Farhah].
"Pardon!?"
"Mrs. Elephant, if you want to step on them, please don't. At least not when they are just talking loudly" [Diana].
The elephant and the bear complied with my request. The elves still didn't believe us, but I don't really care about them. The only reason I am kind to them now is because Miss Farhah is still kind, even though she was scolded by them. Are all Saintesses good-hearted people who don't get angry? At least I have never seen Saintess Rumia get angry, like super angry.
Anyway, even though the guard doesn't want me to come closer to the city, Miss Farhah continues on, ignoring them. She tells the guard to take the bad guys the elephant is carrying, and the elephant bids us farewell. We wave goodbye, and one last thing before it really leaves
"Please intimidate the guard a bit" [Diana].
"Right."
"It's charging us!"
"Quick! A spell!"
"We're not going to make it!"
"Hahaha. Okay, stop. You scared them enough" [Diana].
Even the elephant laughs when it sees that the guard is pale as snow. It's just a normal-sized elephant. I wonder what would happen if a bigger one came charging at them. Some of them even stumble to the ground, scared to death.
At the border of their town, since Miss Farhah insists that I am her guest, they have to make a special pass for me. I don't know the process, but according to Miss Farhah, it's a long labor process to get a single pass, more than any of the human countries. You have to go through the ministry, the council... and many, many more before they even consider giving you one.
Since it will be a long process, Miss Farhah herself will stay with me at the post. I see some humans, dwarves, and beastmen going through a strict inspection, and I just wave at them. They do the same.
Since there's nothing better to do, I ask her to teach me a song or two, one translated from the old elven language, of course. I wanted to perform them at the opera house when Neloufa finally gets her chance to debut. I tell Miss Farhah just that, and she seems happy about it. She keeps thinking about which songs are the best and even asks my opinion. Since I don't even know which song is the best, we both assume that Neloufa will play a heroine's role one day.
