~Nar Point of View~
After Sas sent the golem that Diana is using to the hospital, the two of us went to one of the lairs used by Gilbert, the former chief magician of this land.
The two of us, using only our legs, start sprinting because it's faster and more efficient for us. The carriage is comfortable and can save us some energy, but the two of us, without needing a word, decided to just run. Time is of the essence and we must catch Gilbert before he escapes. There are too many unknowns.
Why did he do this? Why did he decide to kill the princesses? Why didn't he join the war to protect Amleth? Why did he decide to act now of all times? Is he acting alone, or is he just a pawn? All of this, and more, will come out of his mouth once we have captured him.
"Dispel" [Sas]
The hideout is protected by a magic circle, and a good one at that. My magic power and knowledge are inferior to Sas', but that doesn't mean I'm a complete amateur. Just as Sas knows that I am a better fighter and therefore relies on me when the situation calls for it, so do I in this situation.
"It's a trap" [Nar]
"I know, but if there's something that we can use, then it's all worth it" [Sas]
The walls are lined with explosives, and there's a strong smell of high-quality gunpowder, most likely transmuted by an alchemist. Even the books and documents are layered with magical traps.
*BOOM*
Just as we had expected, the explosion is strong, strong enough to blow up the whole hideout, but not strong enough to bring us down.
"Document secured" [Sas]
"He really looked down on us" [Nar]
Just as we are about to leaf through the documents, a butterfly created from a light mana finds us. We can tell the owner from the mana, and the butterfly carries her voice
"Nar! Sas! Help us!" [Diana]
Just one sentence, that sentence alone makes us both rush to the hospital. We are sure that Gilbert will probably be there to kill the princesses, and Diana, being a unique little sister, is able to perceive the impending danger.

"Take your troop and gather at the hospital! Now!" [Sas]

We pass a guard patrolling the area, even if they are confused by our action, they soon regain their composure and begin to move in an orderly fashion.
"Hmm..." [Sas]
"The mana in the hospital... Looks like he had sealed the place" [Nar]
"Not only that, what he did in the hideout just now is what he did in the hospital. The only thing is, if we carelessly dispel the spell, instead of books and documents, it will be the head and limbs of the citizen" [Sas].
"Tchh... No choice. Sas, use the spell" [Nar].

One kilometer from the hospital and we can detect a spell from the building. It's set so that no one can get in or out at will. Furthermore, any intervention means that the citizen will literally explode, so we will simply use brute force to break the spell, and with Sas' intervention, all the damage that will befall them will be inflicted on me instead.

At the front door of the hospital, where a huge magic circle presents itself, with people, be they visitors or staff, doing what's happening, we simply jump and destroy the spell. In fact, it would be messy if Sas hadn't transferred all the damage to me.
"It's Hero Nar and Hero Sas!"
"We are saved!"
"We are free! This strange chain doesn't bind us anymore!"
"Quick, look at the critically ill patients and see how they are"
I see, so that's how they will explode, through the chain that binds them by the spell. My anger reaches the boiling point when I hear this, and it explodes when I see the uniform of the Royal Guard, who are cooperating with this traitor. They're confused about what's happening.

We kill most of them, save for one or two for interrogation, and when we get to the place where Diana and the other are, the volcano inside me explodes. The same goes for Sas
When Gilbert tried to stab Diana with her spear, I slashed his shoulder, elbow, wrist, and every joint of his fingers with my sword.
"What do you think you're doing to our little sister?" [Nar]
