It's early in the morning at the Adventure Guild. We (by we I mean Dana, Kat and Linda) have already collected the necessary things like passports and quest verification. Dana, Fie and I are currently waiting for Kat and Linda to arrive.
There aren't many adventurers around, except for those who are far away and want to report the completion of their quests. A guild receptionist, who works overnight, is happy to help them and chat with us to pass the time.
"Shall we go?" [Kat].
"Let's go,go go!" [Diana]
"If we leave now, at our speed, we can expect to arrive by night." [Linda]
"Meow" [Fie]
"I hope everyone is ready" [Dana]
"Good luck everyone, may the Goddess be with you" [Khamisah]

Sister Khamisah, who is here early just to check some important documents, wishes us a safe journey.
Philip borders both Amleth and the Empire. It's expected that we might meet some people from the Empire on the way. I don't mind if it's just a normal citizen of the Empire, but I hope it's not their spies, knights, or worse, someone from Aru Village. I really hope so, but
"As expected, there is recent news of their misdeeds there" [Dana].
"They are trying to reclaim the land for themselves. Although there has been no direct military intervention yet, even some of their own citizens think it likely that they will soon be attacked by those from the Empire".
A conversation with the guard guarding the exit. The guard noticed that our passport is supposed to be used in Philip, and given our house location, he informed us about it.
"Stay safe out there. Not that you need it, considering you're from the Vars family and have B and A rank adventures with you".
"Thank you.
Wish us luck" [Diana].
It's a sunny day, though not yet scorching hot, probably because the sun is just starting to shine. A light breeze and the smell of grass make the first trip a pleasant one. It good until it last. Not even halfway therez we are surprised by fishes and crabs that are commonly found on Philip
"It's raining fishes and crabs!" [Diana].
"Yummy... I mean... Watch out!" [Kat]
"Very convincing, especially with the drool on your mouth" [Dana]
"Hey!" [Kat]
"At least Fie is enjoying it." [Linda]
"Meow" [Fie]
"The fish is still fresh! The crab on the other hand... I'm surprised at its size, even more surprised that it's alive after falling from the sky" [Diana].
"This is the tropical swamp crab. It reaches an impressive size. Good thing it's just an ordinary crab, not the monster crab" [Dana].
"The monster crab is bigger, stronger, meaner, and tastes exactly the same... Ooh... Now I feel like eating it" [Kat].
"I can put it in my item box and we can cook it later" [Diana].
"Please do!" [Kat]
"I'll save some too" [Linda]
"It wouldn't hurt for me to store some as well, although my item box magic isn't nearly as impressive as the three of you" [Dana].
"Three!? Even Fie can use it!? That means only I can't use it in this party!" [Kat]
"Well, you weren't born with space magic" [Dana]
"How jealous!" [Kat]
It's abnormal weather again. Although calling it abnormal weather is a bit of a stretch. If I'm not mistaken, the abnormal weather here is mostly big cyclones over the swamp area, carrying the fish and crabs up and away to the sky, where there are reports of those fish and crabs living in the sky as well! Some will stay there until they die, while others will inevitably fall to the ground. A truly interesting phenomenon brought about by the abnormal weather that has been occurring more and more frequently.
While picking some of the crabs, I noticed something unique and amazing about them
"They are very, very light! No wonder they can stay in the sky!" [Diana].
"Which makes eating them in large quantities all the more satisfying" [Kat].
As we continue our journey, resting when needed, we surprisingly don't meet anyone from the Empire. Neither citizens nor soldiers. We talk to those who are heading to the same place as us, and something disturbing seems to be happening.
"The Coffin Turtle specifically hunts those from the Empire?" [Diana]
